JK was actually 13 when he joined BTS. He moved into the dorm in June of 2011 and turned 14 in September of that year.
Jungkook is the kid who was offered a job by 7 companies including big agencies when he was just 14. The man is NO JOKE... talent is in his DNA.
i think jungkook auditioned in different companies but not selected. so he tried in bighit that he passed and become one of the trainies.he stayed caused of RM.

When the show aired after being rejected, He got business cards from seven agencies. Jungkook didn't audition for Bighit and was cast after getting a business card through Superstar K audition. SUGA came in through the audition. Jung Kook has never auditioned at an agency!!!

Fun fact: Korean age is calculated differently than global age. So it was actually a few months before JK's 14th birthday when he joined BigHit and it was a few months before his 16th birthday that they debuted 💜
Jungkook has a reputation (even amongst the other members) for being good at literally anything he puts his hands to. He has a lot of interests and has dabbled in a lot of hobbies, but he himself has stated that he is bad about following through on and finishing things, so it often just ends in dabbling. He's stuck with the boxing for a while, though! (And he's just naturally insanely gifted artistically ... like, wth, that painting...)
This past year prior to enlisting in the military, he spent a LOT of time with ARMY on lives ... his lives would often go for hours at a time. He would sing karaoke and take song requests, as the video said (although apparently a neighbor complained about the noise at one point, lol... because he's usually streaming/doing karaoke at like ... 3 or 4 in the morning...), but he also did a lot of other things. He watched Netflix and ate fried chicken while Live. He reacted to BTS compilation videos on CZcams. He folded his (underwear) laundry while live...😂 He cooked various meals and shared recipes with us. He just drank and talked. And on two occasions he actually fell asleep while still live, lol. He had like .... 5 million people watching him snooze.
Jin is my ultimate bias and all other 6 are my bias wreckers...People who has watched a lot of BTS contents like RUN BTS, Bon Voyage and In The Soop mostly fell in love to Jin's personality. Yeah, he came from a well off family and was the youngest in their family but so humble and aso responsible and caring to all his members.

Jin is my bias in BTS. 💜 In my experience, he usually is not the one who catches people's eye first when it comes to choosing a bias, but then once you start digging into their content, especially their shows like Run BTS, his personality is just SO endearing and likeable that he wins people over hardcore.
He is extremely hard working, and also incredibly good natured. He doesn't take himself too seriously, and he doesn't take anyone else too seriously either, heh. He LOVES to tease the other members. I think teasing is his love language, lol.
Jungkook (as the youngest) and Jin (as the oldest) have a really special bond, I think. Koreans calculate age differently, so when Jungkook says he started with BTS when he was 15, he was actually much younger. He was 13 when he signed with Big Hit Entertainment, just a few months shy of 14 when he left his home/family in Busan and moved into the shared room in Seoul. He was 15 by the time they actually debuted. Jin is 5 years older than him and would do things like take him to school or pack him lunches and just in general was a real older brother figure to JK. But at the same time, Jin is super silly and jokes that he and JK are the same mental age. If you ever watch them in behind the scenes content, they harass each other CONSTANTLY. They are always poking each other, hitting each other, wrestling, fake boxing, pinching, leaning, and just in general bickering (good naturedly) with each other, heh. JK loves to tease Jin about his age and call him 'old'. They have such real 'brother' vibes, I love it, heh.

I’m confused by people saying he was 14. I saw a video just yesterday where he held up something that said June 2011 (I can’t remember the exact date) and JK said that is when he became a trainee, so I assumed to be a trainee hon have to have signed with them. Maybe, the date wasn’t written in M/D/Y format and that confused me. Is I want to go through my history and find it. 😂 it doesn’t even matter. I’m just curious now.
@Imme_begin I know that he did not move into the dorms on the same day that he signed with big hit. but I could certainly be mistaken regarding exactly when he moved in and how old he was!
@Imme_begin I'm thinking it's probably a combination of two things. Either people are calculating his age based on the year 2011 and not thinking about the month, or they are rounding up since he was two months shy of 14.

3:17 main dancer does not mean choreographer. Bighit has in-house choreographers, the most popular one is Son Sungdeuk. So, Jhope learn the dance and formation quickly then will help the other members that need help with it. Sometimes, Jhope and Jimin will then make suggestion/s to improve the choreography based on what stage they will be on or make the performance run smoother. Bighit also outsource from outside choreographers and choose the one that fit BTS song better.
Indeed, Jungkook is the GOAT.. what a talented man...The vocals, the dance, the rap, the stage presence - everything is perfect with JungKook. he also is master at every other things such as any kinds of ART like drawing, painting and he is so athletic. he is the BEST. Proud of him Our Giant Global Pop Star.

Jhope is the reason behind the perfect coordination and performance of the members...he has special talent of noticing mistakes of members...and he never hesitate to help the members for improving their performances...if jungkook is golden maknae...then jhope is golden hyung❤
j-hope is a very accomplished rapper but his range from rapping, writing, producing, dancing, his singing, as well as his positive aura makes him very special. Each member is ridiculously talented.

J Hope in recent years has really come into his own for his solo debut album he broke multiple records selling our mainstage Lollapalooza ( over 1000,000) with his Jack in The Box. Not to mention the pay for view online viewers that also watched it live stream world wide. ARSON, znd MORE are killer Music videos.

You misunderstood JHope learns the choreography the fastest and helps others. They have choreographers such as Son Sung-Deuk, Keone and Mari Madrid, Rie Hata, Brian Puspos, and Sienna Lalau to name a few.
That's true, however, JHope also has inputs on the dance these days.
During the graduation song, I’m surprised you guys figuring out the song was more interesting than the fact that although working their butts off to make music they are also educated. Also they all have solo songs within BTS albums. Even with solo albums they are still a group. Suga and Jin were the cooks

It’s a very big deal, do you have a bachelor degree? And working on your masters? They work hard and still care about their education! Don’t down play someone’s accomplishments to cover your own failure!

They are not saying jungkookee as in cookie. In korean the ee sound at the and is a word. For example if he was saying jimin he would say jiminee it’s just means like when you talk about someone you you use it if they’re
younger than you.
Also the word you hear that sounds like n word is mean ‘you’ or ‘i’. Naega means ‘i’ or ‘me’ niga means ‘you’. Sometimes it’s also pronounced as ‘diga’
Jin is my bias. First, he didn’t catch my attention at all, i’ll be honest. Then, when i started digging into their content, behind the scenes etc. I don’t know how but jin become my ultimate bias ❤❤❤

Okay so j-hope has been rapping for 14 years and he is a master of his craft. He came into Bangtan with a deep love and knowledge of hip hop through his background in hip hop dance. He breezed through the trainee years because he was so strong at rap, dance, and vocals. He started writing the day he started rapping and he has written 136 songs and has more production credits than RM even. Guides like this focus on his dance and totally under-explain his rap and writing but you absolutely cannot proceed through this Bangtan journey with the notion that RM & Suga are "the rappers" and j-hope is "the dancer who raps." In fact, j-hope didn't dance at all for his last album...he just put out a critically acclaimed, authentic boom-bap rap album. His writing style is characterized by abstract, complex, multi-dimensional webs of narrative and an uncanny knack for putting together melodies, flows, and sounds that just make you move. He has the best musicality of all the rappers and by far the most versatility. I will never forgive Taylor (the creator of this video) for dedicating so little time to j-hope's rapping and writing skill but he is by all accounts one of the three main pillars of BTS' MUSIC CREATION (in addition to being the main pillar of their performance) and a master of rap. So please please please do not create this false tiering in your head that separates j-hope from RM & Suga. They're the three best rappers in the industry and they would all agree that, when it comes to skill, they're all different but very much EQUAL.
Also, he has 16M Spotify followers now and is the most followed Korean soloist and the 4th most followed Korean artist overall (after BTS, BP, and Twice).
With his videos, "Eat Jin", he inadvertently helped people with eating disorders.
I'm not sure if you caught the part wbere Jin was hired by BigHit because he was so handsome and they had to teach him to sing and dance once he was hired. He was in college at the time studying to be an actor.

J.K was 13 when he joined and 15 when the debut, and he did not auditioned for Big Hit, the allready see him performed in the video, he choosed Big Hit beacuse he saw Rm and thought he was cool
Korean language is hierarchical. Age matters. One of the first questions asked when meeting new folks is what is your age. Unless it is clear the age difference. This determine how you will address each other in language and the endings you will use in sentences and words. Kids are taught from a very young age that friends are only those born the same year. Others require different language and address. Jin’s approach to the group mattered.

BTS has their own Choreography team, he is in charge of their stages, and teaching the choreography to the guys, he doesn't do the choreography, but he does contribute, and he choreographs routines for his solo projects as well as collaborating with other choreographers. that would too much for him to also do all the choreographies on top of writing songs, producing his own music and music for the group. I'm glad they have a good team behind them.
jungkook met them whe he was 13 he is 26 now but the only people who can baby him now are just his 6 brothers lol

All right guys.. Here's a few more facts..I found BTS in 2019 when I was in a horrible depression( I'm much better now that I'm learning to love myself) these 7 are some of the most humble talented gifted artist and young men the world has to offer💜 The vlives are so much fun.. RM just comes and hangs out with us
Yoongi comes and usually gives us such uplifting words J-Hope usually dances for us Jin cooks and eats with us
JK takes song requests and gives us a mini show
V does so many different things, usually sings or play games
Jimin builds arts n crafts with us
RM is a lyrical genius, especially the way he uses wordplay even between languages, composing using different beats flows rhythms.. He's also the only one who does not have a driver's license
Yoongi is my bias wrecker and I love how he's so savage.. He seems like a very cold and distant person but he's very caring and loving
J-Hope is my bias,, he's a phenomenal dancer and just recently headlined at Lollapalooza.. Hobi is the sunshine of the group, he's a beautiful smart creative man
Jin was cast on the street getting off the bus that's true, it has happened twice to him... He did not sing or dance at all before he became a trainee.. Jin used to pack lunches for the younger members and drive n pick them up from school each day.
Jungkook was only 13/14 when he joined as a trainee, he loves his brothers and Army so very much, loves to take risks, he's pitch perfect and talented in so many things. He's called the "golden maknae"because he's just good at everything he does🤷
V was hidden because the company feared he would be approached by other companies because of his striking good looks.V's voice is like a river of melted chocolate and his vocal range is amazing. He loves jazz and he's like an old soul .. He's very funny and spontaneous.
Jimin is pure perfection when he dances, the feelings and emotions he's able to protray is amazing. He also had the shortest time as a trainee, around 7 months only.
Armies singing Young Forever at Wembley stadium is a testament to how much armies love our guys.. They sang in Korean which was a foreign language to most💜💜💜💜💜💜 Korean men do not have a problem with showing affection towards each other, which I also admire

jungkook is the ace of k-pop, king is a perfect all-rounder. ive never seen someone as talented as him. he is so precious. no wonder he is everyone's fav as the most famous and impactful idol since beginning.
I agree hes good but he’s not everyone’s fav. I think all 7 are magnificent. I personally am a rap line bias. And although he did rap in the earlier songs i still prefer the rappers rap styles. And enjoy jk’s singing which definitely grew over the years. Plus he is pretty much the manifestation of all his 6 brothers. He learned a lot from them and and considering they are all good at different things jk learned a lot of different things. Plus he’s also the only member who received extensive dance instruction without the members in the US. Which im sure helped with his dancing immensely. So he’s great. But they are all great
I agree. He’s gaining millions of fans everyday. Who can’t resist him? He’s good at everything while remains so humble. He’s currently dominating the K-pop industry and also competing with western artists right now. Can’t wait for 2025 coz I know he will shine more💜

@@bee12117 that’s a rude thing to say. BTS is who they are due to all 7. Not just due to 1 member. They all deserve credit for how hard they worked. Jk could’ve done very well as a soloist but hes doing superb now thanks to his training but most is owed to his 6 brothers who taught him not only there talents but also how to be a good person and great work ethics. He himself said he would not be who he is without them. You can’t make someone great if you yourself are not great

I believe BTS is a magnificent talent. They are all talented in different ways. I am a rap line bias although all of them are great. And jk being the youngest and probably the most spoiled in the group lol is as good as he is due to the positive influences and talent that surrounded him, this he has said himself. Also the rappers write their parts for every song BTS has as a group . For their colabs they write their verses and for their own solo projects they write their lyrics. The vocal has either written or co written songs for their own projects too but they don’t do it as much as the rappers. But to me a true rapper writes from life experiences so not writing their own verses would be just wrong lol. Suga has been known to write, compose and produce complete songs by himself and even come up with music video concepts. So these guys are so much more

You kinda glossed over the fact that Jin continued attending college while in BTS and graduated in 2017. And that now all 7 members have bachelors degrees. Why no comment about it?
Why are you upset? Not everyone thinks continuing education is all that big of a deal and that's okay, people are allowed to have their opinions.
Also, honestly, most idols in Korea do some form of bachelors/masters (it was a HUGE deal when JK didn't immediately go to uni after high school) and it's esp important with the military bc most people will not be drafted until after they finish the degree they are pursuing.

So, I’ve watched a lot of reactions to these videos and most people who don’t comment about it are usually distracted with the song 😅 or they just don’t think going to college is a big deal (I definitely think he was very bad ass attending college in spite of his crazy schedule, I admire him a lot). Either way, they are being very nice and open minded reacting to this, let’s try not to nitpick their reaction.
@@popipopipo111 This was a video highlighting BTS's acheivements and that was a notable acheivement by any one's standards. Certainly more notable and pertinent than which american artist wrote the song they were singing.
