Wow! Worked much much better than I ever imagined, this must be what Chizzy did originally to his to make them yellow.
I think Chizzy was painting them. During one tournament the paint could be seem flaking off.
I have just done it with mission force 90 whites and it worked well! So I might try some Winmau fusions

oh wow that turned out really well actually and its solid when they were taken out. at the end where you said some cool coulors and patterns id assume that would be done by hydro dipping if you wanna try or anyone else who sees this does
I use a teal Target case for my darts, going to try this to make some matching flights!

Great idea. I've been painting my flights for a long time since I don't like the 'weak' colours from te manufacturers. going to try these with the Fit and Clic systems to see if they come out different being two piece. I'll try them assembled first (easier to get out of the hot dye). I'll let you know the results

I find it very hard find grey stems without writing on them that will go with my l style flights! This will be a game changer....

You can actually custom design your flights. Look how disc golfers dye their discs. It’s just plastic so same thing
I tried it and it works I dyed 3 sets and ruined one set and tossed it because the flights warped.i regret tossing them because today I warped another set and was able to straighten them out almost like new .they were pretty warped and thought they were doomed until I realized that I could Iron out the warp .comment if you have questions and I will explain more .😎🎯
I wonder when the flight gets scratched from a point, if the white will show through? Does the dye soak to the center?
Not to the centre, I’ve had a small chunk come off one of them and it’s white underneath
If you hit them with your other darts do they scratch and have white lines on?
They do if you take a chunk out
Are condor axe flights good and durable? I'm buying new flights because of bounce outs and robin hoods that damage the flights... we need flights tier list video 😅
Condors are still probably the best just slighly more expensive, get more colour and shape options as well
Condor Axe and Cuesoul Rost T19 are without a doubt the best AIO flight systems on the market. I've also recently picked up the Condor 120's, but not had much play time with them yet.
@@mcarnie ok ty, I will buy condor axe to play hard tip and condor zero stress to play soft tip, it may cost more money but I will probably score better and save money long term

Not if you keep it below boiling and don’t leave them too long

Just for reference for people, I tried this and it warped the flights making them useless 🤦♂️ didn't have the water boiling either im glad I only did one set for the first try. But still expensive set of flights to waste.

UPDATE: DO NOT DO THIS! I bought some SANDSTONE (yellow) dye. 12 K-FLEX came out RED and ALL of them were deformed - BINNED all of them. Having to buy new ones now. DONT RISK IT.
Now how to figure out how to add patterns on it lol
i would bet aluminium tape could work, it is a possibility tho that it would maybe melt the plastic under it dunno :D
