I am a fan of another girlgroup that will have a comeback this month, but when it comes to Girls' Generation it doesn't matter if you belong to another fandom, they are living legends of music and it pleases everyone that they are coming back and then there is a big wish for me ... to see my girlgroup interact with Girls' Generation on the stages of music TV shows. I'm around the same age as the members and I started listening to them in my 20s. I thought that they would never come back as a full group (even though I wished for it,) but seeing that my wish came true just brings tears to my eyes. Welcome back girls!

i feel like girls’ generation coming back at 15 years of career is such a statement for kpop girl groups. in the past, idol girl groups near the age of 30 are considered old and there’s frankly a very ageist sentiment in kpop. 30+ male idols can still be active in the industry but most female idol groups don’t even last to that age. I think Girls’ Generation is really a testament that women are also allowed to continue doing what they love and chasing their dreams. and that idol girl groups aren’t just for young girls. it stays true to their name when they say “be ladies but we stay girls”. they’ve grown but they remain girls at heart.

Queens indeed. The Aura is diff. I was not a kpop fan during their Era and I did not stan them as well when I became one but seeing this reminds me of how they call them Nation's Girl Group.

I remember how they helped me when I was younger and struggled with life. Thanks to them I'm still here today and I'll be forever grateful for that. I don't listen to Kpop as much anymore, but I'll forever listen to them. I was with them when they debuted and I'll be with them when they all retire.

When it was just 2nd gen idols, most people look down at us (fans) on supporting kpop musics, back then we were just wishing for kpop to be more known worldwide. And now it's finally here. There were only few groups back then and media nowadays was way different way back. We've come a long waaay. Wishing for every groups' success on August comebacks.
