I remember everyone getting their lecture notes signed by Baddeley after a lecture. Absolute legend.

Amazing summary. What Baddeley was saying about thinking about something in more detail helps you remember it more clearly, is certainly true with this video. Learning about the history of the WMM, is that indepth clarity that I need to remember it!

lol, I wonder where you are now after 7 years looking back your desk. Mine working and living space are almost always cluttered because there is always something more important to do.

I like the tasks they designed to distinguish short term memory with working memory.

Awesome, a nice explanation of memory . . . just needs some pictures or animations to help us build memory to memory ;)

I CAN'T believe he and Hitch are professors at the university of York - I could have chosen to go on an exchange to York, but instead I chose Germany to learn German?? Baddeley and Hitch!!! Living legends!

..consider the stacked papers on his desk vs. the half empty cork board.. I think a nice wall shelf system would've served him better. Without judgement: the state of his desk is related to the state of his mind. Some problems are more important than others.

Did you not think he may have Parkinson's disease or something similar? If you did, your comment is unspeakably cruel and idiotic. And if you didn't, you need to educate yourself a bit more.
