Vale recordar que Brasil tiene más de 200 millones de habitantes y sólo el 5% habla inglés. Cuando al público brasileño le gusta un artista, se esfuerza por aprenderse la letra aunque no hable inglés.
Não falamos inglês ou qq outro idioma para gringos em solo brasileiro porque quando estamos fora somos obrigados a aprender o idioma do local. Mas, não significa que não somos letrados ou versados em outro idioma. Uma grande parte da população fala inglês e/ou espanhol, uma minoria fala além do inglês e espanhol. Se atualiza.
We don't speak English or any other language to foreigners on Brazilian soil because when we are abroad we are forced to learn the local language. But, it doesn't mean that we are not literate or versed in another language. A large part of the population speaks English and/or Spanish, a minority speaks English and Spanish in addition. Updates.

The feeling of thousands (sometimes more than a milion) people singing together here in Brazil is surreal. Is is a great experience, everyone should go to Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza or a show in Copagabana beach at least once in their lifetime (but learn the playlist of the artist first)

Once I heard (dont know if it is true though) that Justin Bieber doesnt like singing in Brazil because "they are not there to hear him" (because brazilian crowds actually sing out loaud and along with artists).
The main difference is vultural. Brazilian people like, not only to enjoy themselves at concerts, but make your favorite artist feel especial and emotional. And best way we know how to do it is singing their music with them, showing appreciation.. it is "we hear you".
