- Lea Salonga performed a solo concert at the London Palladium on Sunday 21st July 2019. In the second half of the show Lea introduced her special guest - Rachelle Ann Go. They performed I Know Him So Well from the musical Chess. A brilliant performance!

It's like realizing how lucky she is to have sung numbers of duet with the Broadway Legend. Lea is truly iconic, and a gigantic star in Broadway. She won Tony Awards at 20, sung an Oscar- Winning Song, and earned a Disney Legend. She's Fa Mulan, Jasmine, Kim, Eponine and Fantine, she's always the main actress of Broadway Shows, and she's a fucking Filipina and an Asian, and knowing how hard it is to star to Broadway shows with characters that don't actually exist because of race, I can understand how much Rachelle looks up to Lea, because even until today, Lea, that Asian could still top bill and be a leading lady to an industry, audience and land of predominantly white. That makes Lea Legendary!

I can't get enough of their duet. I have been binge watching all the videos of their performance uploaded on youtube. And for all the bashers who keeps saying Lea is arrogant this video shows that she's not. First , at the beginning when Rachelle Ann kept bowing Lea quickly invited Rachelle to share centerstage with her. And when the song ended Rachelle Ann wanted to give Lea a hug but Lea stepped back as if she's telling Rachelle Ann , don't hug me yet let me applaud you first.
Yes Lea is a great talent, great singer, world class theater performer and yes she is arrogant. This one video will never show you what kind of person she is off the stage. Your logic is flawed. You don't make conclusion based on only one circumstance.

Both gave such prestige to our country, Philippines got to be well known for artist like them,they both are great singer, Nobody is saying Rachelle Ann Go is also a great singer, Lea put Philippines in the Map as a gold mine for great singers/talent.That's why Cameron Mchintosh was do grateful to Philippines and Lea Salonga, Lea will always be a great singer,she knows how to acknowledge talent, and because of her statues, she deserve where she is now.I am just glad a am Filipino and I am so pround of both of them.Philippines is very well known to be a country with great singers and talented actors and actresses in musicals all over the world.
