The Man from the pattern land I kind of assumed they were okay with it based on the way they talked about the couple they mentioned (sorry no clue how to spell those names). They weren’t disrespectful they just complimented their adopted child rather than say something like that poor child or something like that. Idk I got the same sense they were okay with gay couples just based on that one conversation. But they also didn’t seem grossed out or upset that their son was friends with (as they thought at that time) a gay couple.

I really like the big bang theory & raj character also. But there r many stereotypes portrayed by this series about india which r not true at all. For example in this episode, the using of word 'untouchable'. Yes there were caste based discrimination happened in india but mostly in British rule. I don't know which indian children used d word 'untouchable' in 21st century . As an indian , I just read that word in my history book. Calling someone untouchable is a crime in india. Maybe in some rural areas of North India where there r caste based discrimination happened that but not in cities like Delhi. Even I came from Haryana's small city but still not me , not my family even not my grandparents ever used d word 'untouchable' & supported any caste based discrimination.

M just indian live & born in north & d best part of being an indian is that I can criticize openly what's wrong practice going on in my religion & in my country. I have problem with d word 'untouchables' which is not use in india at all. But there r still caste based discrimination exists in some part of india. Just like west doesn't have slavery now, but still have colour based discrimination.

I have relatives in all over of d India. So whatever I said was based on what I observed while growing up. I went to west, south also & I met people from there. Do u ever heard about honour killing ? & My state is d number one in that crime. So check ur facts. That's not stereotype it's reality , just face it. By labeling anyone dumbass, doesn't change d fact. I know d difference between a fact & a stereotype.

No I don't think it's that, but rather Leonard is actually the least successful career wise out of everybody in his family. His sister is a medical scientist who is close to curing diabetes and his brother is a tenured law professor at Harvard University which earn far more than experimental physicists like Leonard, with two parents in academia who are, especially in Beverly's case, more socially distant and cold toward Leonard. People from New Jersey aren't less humble than people from Texas. That's just a stereotype. Leonard is just more of the black sheep in a family of more accomplished academics. Having a family of intellectuals when you are the more emotionally intelligent one compared to the rest can be rough.

If we using the house analogy, would you live in a house that hasn’t been finished? Like sure the game is not done but it is been on beta for a LOT of time, instead of taking a step back and make it smoother they just keep adding nonsense dynamics.

    So many triggered indians...
Its a joke, just deal with it, ranting about how its untrue with broken english is not going to help, this is coming from an indian.
If there is one stereotype that is true, it is that many indians who type comments on youtube *mostly* do not use proper english.

Why should proper English be such a big deal? it's not our own language. We have hundreds of languages in India already. English is nothing more than a communicating factor.

@@sweetnaina3692 Tomorrow, if you move outside the country, or even somewhere in Indian where your mother tongue isn't common, English is what helps. It is the most sophisticated, easiest and an international language. It deserves the respect it receives. However, I do agree that it must not be seen as a perimeter for one's intellectuality.
      Don't fuck it up, though.
