  • Tax was top of the agenda as Rishi Sunak and Sir Keir Starmer exchanged barbs at PMQs.
The Labour leader was keen to bring up the failures of former prime minister Liz Truss and her disastrous mini-budget, which the OBR said was based on unfunded tax cuts.
Rishi Sunak said Keir Starmer should spend more time inspecting the tax returns of Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner, who is accused of not paying the correct tax on a house sale.

    1. Who wrote it for her?
    2. Who read it to her?

Sir Beer says Tories have pledged to scrap NI, without funding the cut. He is wrong. They have pledged to reduce it if/when it is economically possible to do so. Yet Sir Kneel pledges to increase spending by countless billions without increasing taxes. So WHO is promising UNFUNDED budgets?

Sir Kneel mentions mortgage payers having interest rate increases. He doesnt mention that mortgages rates are still equal or lower than virtually the whole of Labours 13 years, and expected to fall again in a couple of months. Rates have been at incredibly low rates for virtually the whole of the Tories years and have only recently gone up as a temporary measure, as they have done WORLDWIDE in countries which did not have Truss as PM.
