I remember watching this race, something that stood out for me watching Schumacher was his relentless pace, even when his Ferrari was not as competitive, he somehow found a way to still be on the podium come race day. A real legend. Love these days of F1 where it was raw racing and on the limit

Cryo Lockdown They were basicly talking about DC all the time, who was obviously only waiting to recieve his 10sec stop/go penalty and who was playing road block, to help Hakkinen (called Team Taktik). It was basicly just a payback to Schumacher, who did the same with Häkkinen at the Malaysian GP. The "Mein lieber Mann"-part was said, after the blocking worked and it was up to Schumacher, if he wants to attack (what he did) or not. The also said, during the whole situation, DC seriously fucked up, as it was HIS job to block Schumacher and he did´nt made it.

Mir persönlich war es 1998 ein Graus, als schmalere Autos und Rillenreifen eingeführt wurden. 2006 der Abstieg zu V8, letztes Jahr der neue Müll, keine Ahnung, wo das noch attraktiv sein soll. Null Sound, keine aerodynamischen Anbauteile erlaubt, keine Tank-Stopps, hohe Heckflügel - keine Charakterköpfe unter den Fahrern, immer mehr Kindergarten. Und jeder Furz wird von Regelfetischisten bestraft. FIA und Ecclestone bringen die F1 noch komplett unter die Erde.

I remember those Mercedes engines were the loudest. The had such a high tone, it really hurt in your ears but it was great. I'm so thankful that my dad took me to the tracks since 1995, I was so lucky to hear the V12's live.. And the screaming V10 monsters.. Those V10's were actually monsters.. you could hear the freaking power these engines had.. When you were beside the track watching those cars flyby you were really astonished and had respect for the drivers, cause you could hear those cars were animals.. Those lawnmowers nowadays just suck..

If anyone has any doubt about Shuey having the better car, just needs to look at these highlights. Where was his teammate? About 20 seconds back. Not to mention, Coultard, even though I like him, was never the driver Shuey was. Put him in one of the 2 cars he was racing against, and it would be a wipe out.

Coultard is not even diserve a mention if compared with Schumi, and in wet conditions, the talent of Schumi always be so clear in comparisson with good pilots like Mika Hakinen and even top pilots that is no doubt!! Well, I regret that today such a pilot and my idol that I roof for so many years are in so bad conditions, he is in coma, so.. How ironic the life is hugn?!? :/ But this wonderfull moments still alive!! ;)
Das war ja ein mega geiles Duell. Ähnlich spannend war im selben Rennen Villeneuve gegen Frentzen. Ich vermisse Indianapolis sehr, war wirklich ne geile Strecke

Wie damals in Australien 2002 als Schumacher den Montoya zwang die Kurve enger anzufahren, sodass er selber mehr Schwung hat und ihn auf den Weg zur Kurve 2 überholen konnte.

Sein Sohn steht in den Startlöchern....Verstappen ist schon geil...und ich hoffe das Mick das Feld richtig aufmischt. Nix desto trotz es müssen Tankstops her...KERS und DRS abgeschafft werden und diese abgefuckte Reifenpolitik ab in den Müll damit. Dazu schöne V12 oder zumindest V10 Motoren...wir reden von der Königsklasse...diesen Motorschrott von heute kann man sich ja nicht mehr anschauen. Da wird man bestraft wenn man ohne Hilfe überholt oder nen 1cm zu dicht aufgefahren ist. Wenn sich da nix ändert haben sie den Tod der F1 besiegelt und dann hoff ich nur das Mick nie in diese Rennserie geht sondern sich einen großen Namen im Indy oder DTM Sport macht.
Zehn Sekunden Zeitstrafe? Heute gibt es eine Durchfahrtstrafe. Und interessant ist auch, diese zwei Unsafe Release-Situationen. Das wäre heute auch geahndet worden mit mindestens 5 Sekunden.
Freunde mich nach und nach mit der V6 Ära an aber 98-05 wird unvergessen bleiben. Bei der V8 Ära hatte ich auch startprobleme und Vorurteile aber ab 2011 (Blown Diffusor) und zuletzt 12/13 klangen die dinger schon sehr geil. Hoffen wir einfach mal dass all die GPDA Vorschläge helfen um den Sound weiter zu verbessern. Ist nun verglichen mit 2014 schon deutlich besser aber da geht noch mehr. Bin vor allem auf die Optik der '17er Kisten gespannt.

Hoffen wir einfach mal dass all die GPDA Vorschläge helfen um den Sound weiter zu verbessern. Ist nun verglichen mit 2014 schon deutlich besser aber da geht noch mehr. Bin vor allem auf die Optik der '17er Kisten gespannt.
