I'm only 16, but the thought of death is already keeping me up at night. It's not death itself that scares me, but what comes after it. The concept of some sort of afterlife is comforting, but the thought of there simply being nothing terrifies me. I believe this is because we are born into life, and we can't remember anything before that. Because of this, life becomes the only thing we know and the most important thing to latch on to. I just want to go somewhere after death, to still be able to think and feel. Then one night while staring at the ceiling, something occurred to me. Before you are born, you are in a state of non existence. If there is truly no afterlife, then how is death any different than before birth? And from that there rose another question: We were born from nonexistence, and when we die we return to nonexistence. Who's to say the process can't repeat itself? This made the concept of reincarnation seem a little less far fetched. Although I would prefer to live in some sort of heaven with all of my friends and family, I just can't bring myself to be confident with that thought. But this concept has given me some hope. I still fear death, but I feel like I better understand it. I'm happy you've found this way to not fear death, and I believe that everyone should be able to have that comfort. I've kind of been rambling, mostly because I'm very tired at the time of me typing this. What I really want to say is thank you for making this video. I believe that nobody should fear death, and I'm happy that there are people like you who want to help others feel the same way.

Man i have this same thought every so often and it started at the age of 12 and I'm 19 now. I tried looking at vids and finding answers but nobody seemed to really answer our question, as you said death it self does not fear me it's the whole non existence part. Ahhhhhh it feel good to know I'm not alone
At the beginning you said that you are not afraid of death but what is after or more accurately, what is not after death where there is nothing after it. I am not afraid of death but what does not come after it. If there is something that comes after it such as a heaven, then i will not fear anything as long as i can stay there, with my family for eternity ever so happily. I also stay up sometimes thinking about this but i usually stay on my computer to make myself think of something else because i don't like the thought of never seeing my family ever again. To be honest (and I know I am rambling) I fear that I will never see my friends or loved ones again.

Recently I have been thinking about death and giving myself panic attacks but this video made me realise that when my time comes I will more accepting about it as long as I live life to the fullest without being paranoid about death 24/7

The scary part of life isn't death, it's living. When you die, it's over with, you're gone. But when someone you know or love dies, you have to continue living with that pain and sadness. Life is so disgusting, painful, and unfair. Children are killed mercilessly without any hesitation, any warning, any chance of survival. One of which was a kid named "Caleb" who died one day after this video was uploaded (some of you may know who I'm talking about). He died of an undetected heart disease that is very rare. Not only that, he got it at a rare age of 13 years old. When he passed away, the Doctor said there wasn't anything his parents could've done differently. But that's not all! The condition he caught had a 99% survival rate. Which means 1% of the time, the patient dies. He caught that 1%. He loved life, appreciated it, but that didn't matter. I've been unimaginably depressed lately because I only found out about Caleb a few days ago, and it made me realize just how monstrous life is and how unfair and terrifying it is. I don't want to live for 60-70 years, I want it to be over quicker than that. I'm a believer in God, so I'm not going to kill myself. But if I'm face to face with death, I can't say that I'm gonna fight him. For the first time in my life, I'm not afraid of death. I accept death for what it is. I'm not afraid of what will happen, I just want to be taken away from this world. I've been spending a lot of time in bed lately due to my depression, and while I was laying there I begged for a quick and painless death. I've heard that the meaning of life is to love but how can someone love when the person they try to love is killed? That just makes them scared to love again. I'm not suicidal, though it may seem like it. But I started to drown, I can't say that I'd fight to stay alive. I want to be at peace, for once in my life. I don't want to feel the emotional pain that comes with life, I want to escape it and live for eternity in a peace and happiness. Caleb's death has really taken a toll on me for a number of reasons. Firstly, he was a CZcamsr who I started watching after he passed, and I fell in love with his personality. He was like a brother that I never had. He was funny, caring, thoughtful, and all around a fantastic, lovable kid. It seemed like he was still alive for a little while until I realized he wasn't. That feeling is what initially made me depressed. When I finally came back to reality and remembered he wasn't alive, it felt like I had just lost a brother or a friend. That brings me to my second reason, he was unfairly taken. I know he's in a much better place now and I know he'd rather stay there than come back to this life, which I completely understand, but he was taken way too soon. Caleb was one of the very few people I saw who loved life. He appreciated everything about it but he still lost it. He wasn't given a chance at survival. What isn't fair isn't just the fact that he was taken at a young age, it's the fact that he got a rare disease that has a 99% survival rate, but was given no chance at survival. His condition went undetected throughout his yearly check-ups, which ultimately sealed his fate. What's so unfair is that his condition was rare and wasn't that deadly, yet he didn't get a single chance at survival. But then you have cancer patients who have multiple opportunities for treatments and cures. How does the world's deadliest and probably the most common disease still leave people with opportunities for survival, but a rare and non-fatal disease gives this kid no chance. Get what I'm saying? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad cancer can be treated and people have walked away from it cancer-free, but how can people survive cancer, but this one kid can't survive one rare heart condition? It just doesn't seem fair. I'm sorry if I'm all over the place with this comment, but it's really late and I'm really tired. Hopefully, my end is coming. I just wanted to write this comment to express my opinion on life. I'm personally not afraid of death, and I'm happy with that. I actually feel kind of happy when I think of death. It relaxes me. There truly isn't any reason to fear death. Instead of dreading it, look forward to it. Once death comes to take you, there isn't any more pain. There isn't any more suffering. There isn't any more sadness. It's just you and peace. REST IN PEACE, CALEB! (the brother I never had)

What I'm scared of. What happens after im dead? Will I have no mind, no way to think? Will i just be gone? Or will i be stuck underground with thoughts still in my head? Not able to breathe, speak, move. But can I still.. feel? Or hear? Or will I literally just cease to exist? No one knows where we'll go unless they've truly been to heaven and back.. I believe in heaven. But what if.. just what if there is no heaven.. Where will we go? What will happen? It scares me. I dont know how I'm gonna die. When I do, I'll just be sitting in Heaven waiting for my loved ones. Unless.. some part of me is still alive in that grave. Then I'll be stuck there.. I dont know what'll happen. Thats my point, thats my fear.
Fantastic Fanatic All I can say is that I have a good feeling that we all will be okay in the end. No worries. Worrying only makes life worse. Stay positive and know that the end of life will be better than life now my friend.

That's the point! We don't know what will happen nd that's the beauty of it because it could be whatever we need it to be. I believe in God and I believe that when I die I will join him in heaven. Another theory that I came up with by myself is that what if the soul is real and that's why we can't figure out how conscience works inour mind because we're just looking at it in the wrong perspective because maybe the conscience isn't part of our mind or our physical self because it's part of our conscience and that when we die our soul enters a different realm or dimension by leaving our physical self.

I truly believe that, people don't seem to realise the horrors that goes on in this world, hell is just a lie to make us scared of dying
Please guys don't be afraid of death, it's not the end, it's a new beginning to a better world, and we'll live peacefully for eternity with our family and friends

Same. I'm not really afraid of death, I'm afraid of seeing my parents and younger sister cry. Truth is that when a person dies, most of the time it is the family who feels the most pain. I want to live because I don't want them to be hurt because of my death.

I've been thinking of death constantly this entire summer. i've been having panic attacks and have been incredibly depressed over the thought dying. i've watched a bunch of videos about it and nothing helped. but then i saw this and something clicked. i've never cried so hard in a very long time. thank you so much. i'm at peace with the fact that the end is coming. and even a little happy that life won't go on forever. thank you

I’m 15 and I think I have deeper thoughts than lots of kids my age. It scares me a lot but I have to think of what this life is and what is after it.
First, sorry for your loss. And to me.... Living in fear is not living at all. Life can be so beautiful and great if we look for the good on a consistent basis. I just lost another loved one but I know that they are in a better place and that they would want me to enjoy life until it is my time. Please don't live life stressing over something that hasn't happened yet.... Why do that when you can enjoy life on a consistent basis by surrounding yourself with positive things and people? My opinion
This was great... I have seen many videos speculating the lies of life such as a simulated existence, no death, and many other scary theory's. Before I saw those videos I never questioned life, but those videos put me through the deepest pain I have ever suffered, and life can feel like a boardwalk of needles at time. But this man has shaped me back into the excited person I once was. Life may seem scary at times, but just know that death is not that bad, or at least better than Earth acoording to this source. And life cannot be simulated since if life doesn't add up here, it doesn't anywhere. Not even for the super intelligent. Because even if we become infinitly intelligent, we cannot add up the math of the beginning, and end of life. What I say is live life today, and don't try to figure out your existence if eventually ends anyways. Always believe in the positive, and do not forget about the beautiful life you will live, and the peacful death that will follow. I was watching this show yesterday how a human body works and going through the life stages and they said its peaceful when you die because they said theirs something in your brain you see happy things you done in your life. Alexis I'm late but I also pray everyday and I am having this issue so if you do come across this please read okay, so my real dad has never been in the picture so since 3 yrs old I been with my grandma and grandpa and my dad has anger issues and I always been scared to tell him I do not want to live with him and that I want to stay with my grandma and grandpa but I always been scared to tell him but this video helped me come out and tell him what's deep down in my heart I'm 14 and lately the though of death has ruined my mind but this video again Helped me .

What had put the fear of death in me was all of the medicine that I take for seizures and the seizure medication changed my mood, so now I have to take medicine for that. All of this medicine has increased my anxiety to a level that I almost can’t control, but when I saw your video it changed. It lowered my anxiety alot! Thank you for sharing this! God bless you!

I've never been afraid to die, I never really cared about what happened to my body, but what I fear the most is watching everyone I love just vanish from around me and I can't change ANYTHING because I just CANT!! They get to be at peace but I have to watch them LEAVE and wait for what feels like an eternity to see them again

I know it's been a while since you posted this video, and today I found it in my feed. I died the first time during surgery when I was 13, and the second time when I was 17 after I had complications from a blood clot. I agree with what you have said about death and the experience. I explained to everyone around me at the time a similar experience, but they wouldn't believe me. I don't know why your video came up, but it's a strange but positive thing. Positive as I haven't thought about it for years. Good video and know that even today you're getting views on your experience.

Reggie, you are a darling. I noticed you gave out your phone with a 281 area code in Houston where I was born/raised. I MISS all that once was in Houston growing up there but choose to live elsewhere as a senior because of the congestion & aliens. I have lost my hometown (Houston). It is now a foreign country this saddens me to tears because what remains of my family still live there. It is a hard place for them to grow old. Spanish has overtaken English language, aliens drive like they never left Mexico, Central America & have no respect for our laws, their kids run amuck in stores & restaurants, foreigners responsible for "health care" in hospitals & don't care if you live or die (makes more space for them), etc. I feel the same as you..."hell" is right here on earth, the emotional/physical pain & suffering, loneliness, stress, hatred, 7 deadly sins, etc. I pray that you have a happy & abundant life full of love & joy. I PRAY for all mankind that something "better" awaits us. Stay safe. Blessings.

8 or 7 family members had died during this year of 2017, I'm going through hella anxiety and depression. I thought of committing suicide almost 4 times during this month. But I was scared what was going to happen to me after i do it and how it would Impacted my family. Now if I did commit suicide I'd be the 9th person in my family that passed away this year. But after watching this I thought to myself it's not my time to go and my family members that passed this year are in peace and they don't have to suffer. I'm glad you made this video. I started to have an existential crisis just a few months ago, I always questioned and feared death and what it would be like and i always felt lonely and sad in these thoughts and felt like there was no point in life :/. This video actually helped me over-come it a little bit, honestly.

I have been scared of death since I was 10 years old because as the years pass, My fear of death increased which kept me awake at night everytime; I even sometimes I have to force myself to sleep as tears roll down my pillow. I become afraid of death because not just for myself, but for my family I worry too because I absolutely Love my family with all my heart which gives me alot of anxiety because I know that someday, my family will pass away and so will I. I become afraid of death because im afraid of the unknown.... Not knowing what the road leads you to after you die gives you into deep countious thinking and a mind set full of fear. Im still dealing with the fear of death, but this video made me relize to just enjoy myself in a positive way and not to spend all your time pondering on what will happen next. I fear leaving my family behind and I fear that they will eventually leave me too..... 😔😢💔❤👨👩👧👧👨👩👧👧👭👭👭🏻👭🏻

This topic is beyond difficult for me to cope with. No matter how hard I try, I am unable to accept the fact that, once I die, there is no way of knowing whether or not I see my loved ones again. I'll be laying in bed in the middle of the night and start crying, just at the thought of dying. I'm a relatively young person, and I know that I should not yet be fearful of death...but even if I get the chance to experience old age, I know that the time I have is measly in comparison to the extent of time itself. I will get to the end, whether I like it or not. I've had countless anxiety attacks revolving around this topic. Although I search for spiritual growth, I can't seem to leave behind the fear of death, which is, in truth, my greatest fear. I appreciate this video, however, for shedding new light on this subject. Please, keep up the optimism and encouraging outlook, man. It helps a ton.

Thank you for your up lifting words. Thinking back As long as I can remember, death in general has robbed me of happiness. I struggle with the thought of a love one dying and also my own death as well. I wouldn't say I am super religiousness More like spiritual. I do proclaim Jesus is my Savior and has created man to fulfill their purpose in life before you can move on to the next life or realm. Your absolutely correct, by stressing out about my Demi's I am wasting precious time and energy that could be devoted to the present.

That peaceful feeling is life's responsibilities and feelings leaving you. Its being at peace with yourself. No worries about loved ones. No fears over health, money, love. Everything just goes and fades to black. What happens after it fades to black? Whatever you want, will happen. A new life? A dream? Heaven? Or Nothing. Nobody knows. And thats ok.

I am yet to get over it.
Brings me to tears thinking about it. Just hits me out of no where.

Tbh when i die i hope get to see people i love and i can see everything that would make me feel better about it but there is no way to notice...
But my friend lost his family and he lost his mind and committed suicide and i felt so sad but when he was at the hospital he started breathing i asked him if he was alright and i explained everything he told me it was lonely but quiet and beautiful I started to cry when he said i should of left him
