Hola...One of the most useful youtube channels on curls and I am talking about these Indian Curls. I was really excited to try something as cool as a mousse and this video by my fav Deepika AKA Desi Curlys frank review prompted me to buy the product. I have never been so happy about any other product...using this changed my hair and the usage time is reduced to only 5 mins.

Does mousse actually give volume even around the hair partition area

My hair is around 2B and it is really thin, i struggle with hair fall.. and i tried CG method but leave in creams just have too much clumping power lol... The little volume my hair has, goes away when all my hair is climbed together into a few big curls. I wasn't able to fix that problem and gave up on the CG method altogether and use no styling products after conditioning. So currently my hair has volume but also frizz and very little definition. I'm so glad I stumbled across this video! Just ordered this product... So EXCITED for how it turns out. All the negatives you mentioned, might just be positives for me!

@@desicurly hi! Yes it definitely works better than the Curl Up leave in cream that I had tried before. The volumizing part in its name is so true lol. I'm pretty happy with it but frizz remains an issue... I have no idea how to fix that.
@@vatsalamolly Hey , My hair texture is similar to urs and I stopped the CG method becoz of the same reason. How's is working out for u now? did u find a way to fix the frizz part, I was wondering whether I shud buy this?
@@rosemaryjohnny5218 actually i don't use it that regularly. I don't know how to fix the frizz and I am happy with my hair as it is. As I struggle with hairfall, I've decided not to put in any unnecessary products in.

This mousse is good for dry refresh ans for adding volume like you saw in the video. However if leave in and gel work for you already you may skip this

Hi Tanishka, I would highly suggest you focus more on nutrition then hair products if your hair has suddenly become thin. Consult a doctor, get your blood test done and find what deficiency you have and probably your doctor will prescribe some nutrient supplements for you very important.

Whatever shampoo and conditioner you are using continue and change later on if required. For now just buy two things: a leave in or cream. Second a hair gel that’s all

Hi yess ofcourse! After any moisturising product you can use it. A tip after many trials: squeeze out some water from hair before applying this mousse. It works better that way.

Can use little bit of both buy decide according to you hair’s requirement. Too many layers will weigh down hair and then there is no use of using mousse then

Hi, mousse is ideally supposed to be a light hold-medium gel (varies brand to brand) thats why I skipped. Plus I wanted to test how the product works on its own, with so many stylers before and after I would not have been able to judge how is the producting working and if it needs extra support with a gel

I tried the FMC mousse already like 3-4 times now and it makes hair soft and voluminous, but doesn't give me hold, makes it frizzy like the very same day after drying it starts to frizz up for me.. I tried it with different quantities, but doesn't help. My hair isn't reacting well, so it's a 30% happy and 70% disappointed for me.😕

Hey cutie! It could be because its not for your hair. My hair likes the shine and volume it gives. For hold i have to use gel as usual. Its actually not made to provide hold..thats the thing. I still tried it so that I could find who will like it

You can start with the fix my curls leave in. It has little bit hold too but can’t expect hold like gel would add. However for starters can start with that only

Hi! No not at all. This mousse has light hold. Ashba styling serum has buildable hold depending how much you use it. But Both can be used as one and done styler by fine hair

Ofcourse! You can rake it in or scrunch with it or apply in praying hands whichever way you like it better

Do we have to sotc after the mousse as well?
Sotc is something we do if the stylers give cast during drying. It could be any styler not just gel because all stylers work by layering our hair strands so some or little cast is expected after almost all stylers. Sometimes it not the cast or hardness but they will feel a bit stringy like in case of mousse it can happen. So sotc and its all good.. fluffy curls

No no its a styling product like hair cream
Does mousse causes dryness & stiffness to hair?
Some mousse can and some mousse dont. The ones created for curly hair dont do that because they arent made to quickly set a hairstyle. Those are different
They can make hair little crunchy (just like gel does on curly hair) but that can be softened by scrunching or clapping hair once hair is dry

Hi! I am not sure what will work for your hair but ustraa hair cream and setwet gel is good enough and budget friendly
