The dentist issue is so bad its almost unreal that it's going on like this. Private dentists offer so much better treatments that most don't even know exist. It's expensive but it's great. I wish NHS dentists could off the same, but why would it when that would render the private sector obsolete. Just so you know though, private hospital care does NOT mean better treatment. You are dealing with people who are money minded and people van end up getting treatments they didn't necessarily need.

I was in France last summer, some of my family members got ill. I contacted a local GP, with in an hour I was in his empty surgery, we were examined and was given a prescription; all with in a maximum of 2 hours I received all necessary care we needed. The difference was he charged us £25 per head, the GP gave me all the paper work I needed to claim the money back from the NHS when I returned to the UK, but I did not claim these monies; I didn't feel it was fair as I could afford the £75 it cost.
Should we consider charging £25 per patient to see the GP? If you can't afford it then you should be made to pay and then be able to claim the money back, as in my example. There were 14.3 million missed appointments last year in England only; charging patients would see an end to this pattern.
