I didn't know about the Marmee & Louisa book so I have added that as my wishlist. I'm currently reading Little Women to my kids and that will definitely take us through April.

Adorable pups and lovely tea look like a good day 😄 Ooh I wish I had room to commit to anything more, the Seacole book is one I've wanted to read so certain it sounds fascinating, I will have to live vicariously. I did go back to the library and pick up Liz Rosenbergs bio of Alcott, so I am hopeful it will work into my month somewhere.

I'm interested in the collection of short stories by Willa Cather. I've never read any of her work, but I've heard great things about her.
I’ve only read The Enchanted Bluff so far. It’s a perfect jumping in point. If you like the writing in it, you’ll know you will get on with her other works. Like I said, I do wish she had written the endings differently for some works, but she is unparalleled in her sense of place.
Thanks for sharing those teas! I'm going to check out both of them. I think I missed talking about a short work by LMA in my TBR video coming out tomorrow. 🤔 I think I have a book of her short stories, though. 🙂

@@novelideea I have found two things that she features in: a graphic biography of women writers and a collection of letters to and from mothers so I'm happy.

The first Tarzan book was my favorite so far. Much more literary than I expected (all the books that have followed it feel much more Pulp Fiction-esque).

I haven't read any of these books, but they all sound great. I'd like to read The Inheritance. I think I'll bee reading on Project Gutenberg. I'm not a big digital reader at all, but sometimes needs must, right?
I have such a difficult time with digital reading 😅 I even print things off from the computer instead of reading the screen! 😂
