  • Young Edgar Le Bras is walking for 8 months from Paris to Jerusalem along the ancient pilgrimage route Via Francigena.
During his adventure, Edgar hopes to convey 3 important message: a message of peace, a message of sustainability, and a message about the place of young people in today's society.

Buen Camino, Edgar! I too am a scouter (from Canada) and was happy to see your Scout necker. My husband and I started from London last year but only made it as far as Reims before I suffered an injury. We hope to start again in Reims this August 2023 to finish our walk to Rome. We wish you a safe and peaceful journey.

Buon Cammino Edgar. Bien hĂąte de suivre ton aventure et d’entendre tes rĂ©flexions. Petite question: comment entends-tu passer de l’Italie Ă  Israel?

Hi Michel! Thanks for writing :-) We suggest you contact Edgar on one of his social media channels so that he can answer your question. This is his Facebook page: facebook.com/enavantjerusalem2023 and this is his Instagram profile: instagram.com/enavantjerusalem2023/
Edgar is currently in Albania (he arrived by boat from Bari) and he will be crossing Macedonia, Greece, Turkey and then on to Israel. How exactly he'll get to Israel from Turkey we don't know, so make sure to ask him!
