When Chester Bennington died in 2017, I couldn't listen to Linkin Park, it was too sad. And a month later my dad died. I was devastated and broken. At that moment, I accidentally heard your track “Save it for the living”. Your music has become a salvation from sadness. Since then, all your albums have been played almost constantly either in my car or in my headphones. And with each new song I fall in love with your music more and more. ❤️❤️❤️

Funny thing that you wrote about Linkin Park. In my opinion, the singer reminds me a lot about Chester Bennington. Chester is an icon and my opinion is that no one can come close. But this singer does come close 😍 I'm baffled that their songs don't have more views than they do.

Yeah I understand what you mean, ive dealt with severe depression for 6 years now. The main thing is to do what you think is right. Does self harming help you relax? Then its fine, don’t overdo it but if thats what it takes to cope then use it. Whatever gets you through to the next day, I believe it will get better one day.

Hi, as someone who has had depression and anxiety pretty severely for over 8 years, I've got rock bottom more times than I can count on my hands. I used to self harm, I became addicted to it to the point where I did it everyday. I tried everything to fix my depression, there's no cure for depression however, there are lots of things that help. Music, medication, talking and opening up about how you feel and what your going through. Your not alone. Keep holding onto hope and never give up.
We are all the chosen one in our hearts. A main character in our own story.
And sometimes the Villain in someone else's.

I ve noticed that when im feeling suicidal, which is like everyday, I listen to your music and I sing on the top of my lungs and the feeling eases it. I can sing but traumas gave me too much anxiety which caused stage fright. But I have to sing loud because of the way it comes up from my diaphragm. So I belt these songs out! You guys are doing a justice for suffering people in this world.
A friend showed me this band and I listen to them almost every day now when I’m gaming or running it’s just good music all around
You ever just hear a song and think “yes, this is the one”, cause it just hits you in a way no other song can? This is that for me
(Today I started talking to myself)
From the first line of this song, I instantly related to it. I have Asperger’s Syndrome which is a form of Autism, and like many other Autistic folk out there, I have my ticks, weird things I do out of habit. In my case, I constantly find myself pacing up and down and talking to myself, and when I do, my thoughts and my words come out flawlessly and I can say exactly what’s on my mind, but when I talk to someone else, regardless of if I know that person or not, I struggle to get any thoughts or words out, and I cannot make a convincing argument to save my life, resulting in everyone always being able to win arguments against me, or turn the conversation in their favour even when they’re the one in the wrong. I don’t know if I’ve been groomed to be like this or if it’s just an effect of my Autism, but whatever. I also get misunderstood very often, for example, I usually find people misreading my tone as sounding angry or taking me too seriously, when I’m actually just trying to banter or joke about things. I once got told that people without Autism have multiple tones that they can change between which makes it easy to read them and their words, whereas people with Autism only have one tone, making it difficult for people to understand if they’re happy, angry or sad, etc.

It’s frustrating to always be misheard like this and not be able to explain myself properly in person, cause it means that only I can understand me and what goes through my head, and it caused me to get depressed for a time, but I didn’t realise it at the time. What makes it worse is that my school life was traumatic for me, and it affected me physically as well as emotionally, and neither my school nor my college gave me any work experience, so I was very underprepared for getting a job. That on top of the fact that I didn’t get that many things to fill up my days and keep me active caused me to spend most of my spare time cooped up at home doing nothing but staring at the same four walls all day, it was incredibly boring. That in no way, shape or form helped my depression at all.
(I told me that I need a change you see)
When I realised I was depressed I started wanting to get out more often, even if it was just to go for a walk, I started going to the gym, looking for things to do around the house, visiting friends for meet-ups, etc. But it’s still a very hard process because I’ve spent years doing not an awful lot during my days and it’s taken a toll on my stamina as well as my brain, cause I’m still stuck being used to not doing very much with my days.
(This is not what fate has in store for me)
But even though I’m still getting showered in bad luck, especially since I very recently got unfairly fired from my first job, and I struggle to get a job in the first place as I’m terrible at interviews because of my difficulties, I refuse to just give up. I often try to picture my future self and where I’ll be in a few years or so, but I can only see the version of myself that I WANT to be over the version of myself that I realistically WOULD be if things keep going the way they are now. And I always see that future me being successful in life, which is a complete contrast to what I am now, and I want to be that successful future me even if it seems impossible for someone like who I am now.
I could go on and on saying how each and every lyric relates to me, but you get the idea now right?

Hey I understand what you are going through at least with the depression aspect of it. I have 4 kids and at least 2 of them deal with ADHD my son has it the worst. It sucks when you are dealing with stuff and you have no body to talk to cuz of the way people perceive the tone of your voice to me more on the aggressive side. My son had the same problem I was the only person who understood him and could get him to center and calm his mind down just enough for him to say what he was feeling and thinking so that whoever he was conversing with could better understand him and not either feel as though they were being verbally attracted by him or start getting themselves upset and ending up with a shit show
" I'll fake it 'till I make it" is a line that I can relate to way too often lately, but that's not a bad thing
This song started to remind of myself of what I've been through from Depression and Loneliness.

I've listened to every song and album you guys put out I started listening when I came across your music a little over 2 years ago. Your music had had a dramatic effect on my life I can relate to almost every song in one way or another and it's helped me to deal with my BPD(borderline personality disorder) and it's helped me to deal with anxiety and depression I was extremely bullied in School and one day I had enough of it and I went and bought some new headphones and every since then I rarely every take em off your music is able to help me to stay calm and enjoy my life in a way that doesn't involve any of my health problems. I truly love your guys music and it's had such a big impact on my life and I'm truly hoping you guys will continue to make more music for a very long time and I truly hope you guys are staying safe and always have fun and enjoy the little things in life. Its music like this that takes my mind off the current, the real issues, tragedies and events we all have in life. Your music from song to song has caught a aspect of my life in a singular way that it hit home hard, but in a good way.
