What I really love about SE is how they're portraying our WoL in this expansion. Every time you see him, he is smiling, laughing or smirking. He seems to be happy and has a lot of fun. In previous expansions he always had that serious look on his face or like he was exhausted/in pain.
yesss, I have friends that have told me this, the first city/trailer didn't get their attention much but the new things they showed brought back the hype!!
@@SaoriV after 10 years I really didn't see where they could possibly go story wise to top the story we have already been told, but it looks like its going cosmic scale and delving more into allag and in turn, merycidia. We also have a few storylines such as Nero and what happens with the Ragnarok now that it's back in sharleyan, but there's a fair chance the exploratory content will play that out fairly. There is so much more we dont know, like the true story of shinryu and what happened to the allag civilization after the warring triad laid waste to them. Emet was right, it's our duty to see it through and explore our own world, and expand our horizons, visit each shard and eventually find a peaceful solution to the merging of the first and thirteenth.

Truee, it reminds me of the WoL from ARR in that first opening scene, he looks excited for what is to come

the cyberpunk city + cyberpunk themed raid and the eden ult is ticking all of my boxes cant wait

Dawntrail looked like the end of xiv for me, but after the full trailer and keynote it's ignited my thirst for knowledge and discovery again.
