Im high af and this made soooooo much sense. In mk11 kronika said there were multiple timelines and raiden saw lui kang and raiden fight in multiple timelines. This is almost the exact same dialog i was just waiting for lui kang to say "if you must die, then so be it"

She actually doesn't give a shit Shinnok was beaten, her point is that his beheading took him out of the intricate game she designed between him and Cetrion during that timeline. Kronika basically plays the Sims with Sims created by the One Being and puts her kids to Master the whole game in some misplaced sense of equilibrium. It's implied, however, that Shinnok and Cetrion's game actually avoids a far greater evil. We'll see what's that, if it's really something in MK12.

I know right! I mean it's slightly understandable how Batman, Superman, and Lex stood together. They all have the same outlook. We hate eachother yes, but there's more at stake than a simple rivalry. So either we suck it up, or we're all fucked. Mortal Kombat is less believable, the world is 10 seconds from exploding and the only fix is them all standing in a room together and making peace. Barraka would be like, well looks like we're all dying today! 😂 Hell I can see Superman and Lex giving eachother NO HOMO handjobs before Sonya and Kano could be within 20 miles of eachother lol. 😂😂😂
They all act according to the guidelines and conduct of the tournament in every game. There's some weird mannerisms you can notice in all of these games. So these characters do end up controlling their anger till they're ya know, technically allowed to fight. Outside the tournament though it's no mortal Kombat but it's fair game.

This game could've been one of the best fighting games of all time if it had stuck more to the Mortal Kombat "M" rated style.
This is still my favorite fighting game from my childhood I barely even knew anything about fighting games but just seeing my favorite characters from mk and DC was amazing
When I was a kid, this was my first MK game. I knew nothing of the relationships of the MK characters. I just liked it because it had DC characters. After this, I got MK9 and that's what got me into the MK franchise

I find it funny how everyone talks about how MK would lose, yet street/city level characters have defeated the likes of Superman Flash and Green Lantern quite a number of times. Plus, Comic Book logic always had magic from another universe always seriously effective against the heroes, despite some being immune to magic
