    Hi Dr.Spinach.We have to read the 3 texts in 1 minute and then do all three parts i.e matching, filling blanks and writing short answers after that?

    For Part A writing shall we write cursive or separate alphabets. What do you advice while writing fast?

    • @dr__spinach
      @dr__spinach  Před 2 lety

      As long as it is clear to the reader, it doesn't matter. They do not deduce marks in your handwriting.
      #TIP : Time yourself for the reading part A, solve the questions and let your friend or family member give them a read.

      @dr__spinach  Před 2 lety

      Thankyou for your comment Ijaz. Yes, there isn't any negative marking. When I said 'minus 1', I meant you loose one mark even if your answer is correct but your spelling is wrong. Hope that gives some clarification to your query.

    Hello madam!
    In OET listening, there are 3-parts (parts A, B, C).
    In Part A, there are 2 extracts; which are almost 5 minutes in length.
    Asper the advice given by almost all the trainers on the internet; it is advised to go through the script (gap filling-fill in the blanks questions) in 30 seconds. Best utilization of time given prior to the start of audio.
    Now my question: is it possible to read the complete script given in part A (1st extract within 30 seconds) by the examinee? (Which is taking 5 minutes for the audio to complete)
    If at all any tricks or strategy is applied to overcome the successful completion; it is requested to share the strategy/trick.
    Regards
    Moinuddin

    • @dr__spinach
      @dr__spinach  Před rokem

      Yes it is possible. Its practice of skimming through the complete text. If you go through Swoosh English video course, you just have to look and think what kind of noun or verb will fit in the space, is it a medicine, part of body, a feeling, etc. Check out this free listening guide to get some idea: bit.ly/OETlistening

    Hello mam,thanks for your amazing tips. Mam is it mandatory to write the first letter of the word with upper case for SAQ'S (7-14) for instance a pillow/pillow or just Pillow?.Will the marks be penalized for this?.

    • @dr__spinach
      @dr__spinach  Před 2 lety

      Hi, in SAQs it is better to write the first letter in capital, and in fill in the blanks, better to use lower case except for a Proper Noun.
