Welcome back!
As a fellow Michigander, I must say this winter wasn't to bad at all. I'm so glad I could find a farm video from Michigan.
I love Kip, always informative great enthusiasm and a real insight into what farmers do for us. Respect from the UK.
I absolutely love that your cattle have an outdoors option. ❤️
Who else loves it when he says “ let’s go”
LETS GO!!!!!!!
It's cool that he says it. Nobody else really uses it. That's what's cool about it!!!!!
Gotta love old man winter. I really enjoy your videos. One of the few where I’m not constantly having to adjust the volume. And always on point without a lot of pointless fluff.
👍👍
I took my kids to a dairy farm in Michigan . I never knew the hard work you do . I`m sorry .what you do is awesome Thank you all
When you say let's go l know I am going to learn about farming
Loads of comments and you probably won't even see this but have you considered doing a question and answer session, focusing on the farmers that follow you? I would love to ask questions about your herd and your production levels, etc. I farm in Ireland milk a few cows and would be very interested in a more in depth over view of your operation and how you see your future development.
So great to see this video! i have shoveled manure out of Cow pens when i was like 12. I havent been back . I miss that hard work. Its rewarding to take care of these animals. You are a hard worker!
Indeed buddy be safe out there see you next time your buddy from Nebraska 👍👍
Kip, I like it when you explain about some individual cows. This video is a good one for that. "She's like the kid on the wrestling team who gives it all. This cow is giving it everything she's got!" Super.
Love the way you move and get it done. If it were 25 ago we could have competed to see who got the most done, the right way. I Love it. Brings back great memories
Kip I just love your videos! I find it so nice that you know all your cows. It show true care!
Always satisfying to watch you clean the feed lots and man do i hate the cold bring on the warm weather
You're like a breath of fresh air.
Kipp always a please man farmers feeding the world! 👍
Been cold down here in southern Michigan as well . We have been preparing for Calving season. We have 300 heifers that are due to calve in the next month or so . We raise beef cattle mostly Angus and Hereford. We keep our cattle out to pasture and we bed them down with straw with a bale processor. Been working on our db90 planter that we bought at auction. It has 54 rows on 20inch spacing so we can plant corn or soybeans with it . Keep up the good work and stay safe !
Ya zero degrees here in Massachusetts with wind chill in the 20 below range also thanks for answering my question.
This is my new favorite channel I miss dairy farming but this takes me to that happy place. I'd work for this dude in a heartbeat if I could. God bless ya Kip keep the videos coming brotha I'm hooked!
I can't get enough of those cows, awesome cows great udders
Another great video brother! Stay warm out there!
👍👍 Love that cheese Kip. We buy the colby and colby jack in 2 lb blocks.
I really enjoy when you show the dries cows and I can help pick the springing cows.
Thank you Kip.
Another great video Kip ,really glad you are getting to 20000 you really deserve the success
Working with cows and lovin life you got it figured out. Keep the videos coming, they are awesome. I would like to see a video about what vacines you give and medications you use. Cow with the tail got me thinking. Cows look good.
That poor cow with the sore tail! Hope she heals up soon.
Hey Kip, you forgot to tell everybody to stay on those dairy products. Love your videos.
I have an idea for you Kip, shortcut, tip, or maybe just something you'd rather not try, but I liked it when feeding out of silos. After you lower the silo unloader, put a clothes pin on the cable by the winch. Then you can watch where the clothes pin is at, when it's gone up far enough to lower the unloader 2 more doors, you can go up there without running the unloader until it gets stuck. I liked to doing it that way. Just an idea for you.
Kipp, thanks for all the positive vidios. Your vidios take all the negetive things you see on social media. And again keep posting them.
👍👍
Wow, zero !! Makes thing harder to do ! Hoping you get to twenty thousand soon !!
👍👍
Man I remember those days. Cold but refreshing.
The cold will be here soon Kip this was just a test have a great day be safe.
I really enjoy the description of the cows and their personalities. Love seeing the bunk climbers and the dry lot escapes. Keep it up Kip.

Great video Kip. Love the cow interaction
I love how you promote the dairy industry good job one thing with dairy farmers you do a great job of that that is one thing I miss about the business
Great video Kip
Great video Kip and like hear in Scotland you are getting both snow and frost. The cattle are looking great and are milking well to. Great to get the muck out when its not as sloppy as normal.
Expecting -25 with the windchill in northern VT this weekend! Great videos Kip. 👍👍 May all farmers & their animals, working in this cold snap be safe this weekend,
Love the vids keep up the great work
Love the videos! BRRRRR!! I sure don't miss the cold weather! 😁
What shoots out of a cows ass is fricking gold! I built an entire farm around it. I suspect I'm in a smaller class than this guy, but let me tell ya, it's the most valuable thing a farm produces.
Beautiful cows, congratulations.
#924 Kip 👍...LET’S GO!!! Love the farm work.
Thanks for sharing your herd has lots of nice powerful cow
Good video again looking forward the next one stay warm 🐮
Great video, love the tip of using the exhaust pipe to warm your hands. Would love an update on Michaela and Mark.

Daniel from central Mississippi
Amazing video 👍 , hard at work , even when it is cold ! Stay safe ! Bob
Double negatives in N.Y. today 1/29/2021 good video as always Kip.
Hi Kip. I am not a farmer but I watch a bunch of dairy farming vloggers here on CZcams. A couple of families have slurry pits, but I notice that your family has chosen a different style of manure removal. I love to hear more about the reason(s) for haul away verse pits. Thanks much!
I live in the NW off UK Kip , Love your Farm and what you do and the Care you give to your Animals , All the best to you and your Family Sir , I do a lot of fishing over here in winter max Temperature in winter gets to about -10 Nothing to what you get over in Michigan . but a tip for you Kip . Before you start your work Rub Some Vaseline into your hands until it Dry's and it will help keep your hands warm ,give it a go m8 it works for me . Also i would have loved to work on your farm if I could , Love farming
I always enjoy your videos in the milking parlor. It reminds me of my cousins milking parlor in central Penna. except their cows entered on the left and exited on the right and it wasn't as big as your parlor.
Zero that not even bad I live in Ontario and it’s -45
Ur celsius bud. So now convert
@@JAvery-vb9lm -45C = -49F according to an online converter. I worked in Gaspé, Quebec one year in January and the temps were -27F, with windchills around -47F. I was glad to get back to Oklahoma!
Nice cattle!
Cow look great!!! Looking forward to seeing the milk house done. Have a great day!!! Thank you
Hi Kip, I would like to b put in on the drawing for one of your shirts. I always enjoy when you are around the cows. Brings back great memories.
Kip, I love your videos. Wish I had your job. Wish cows could be taught where to crap so it would make your job easier. 🤔 Great job. Thanks
👍👍🤠
Good video keep it up stay warm God bless
Keep up the great work and videos !! Your one of my favorites and stay on the dairy and stay warm out there !! Oh yeah watch out for those talks 😳
You do a great job
I remember farming in South Dakota in the winter, nothing wanted to start also milking in the winter time used to keep are hands warm buy warming them up in a cows Flank, that's between her bag and her back leg. Maybe you could show on a video where that is for the city people.
Keep up the good video's I really appreciate your hard work, I know what it takes to farm in the winter.
👍👍
Definitely cold here in Wisconsin today also. I like the videos from inside the skid steer. Can tell how the farm has grown by all the additions to the free stall barns.
Hey Bud!, as far as eating, I'v been there! Ate sandwiches with one hand & milked with the other!
Great parlor shots
Love the videos. Keep them coming. You do a great job. How's your brother's recovery coming.
All the best Kip and family how many cow’s you milk at a time in the parlour we have a double
8 we are milking 90 cows my uncle that is we are in Forest, Ontario close to Sarnia we are on a quota system
Loads of snow with you!! Looks cold 🥶
200 more to 20k nice work bro loving the videos going go get a glass of milk now keep it up
Kip- how do you work the parlour ie do you empty 2/3/4 stalls then let cows in, or just as it suits as you take the units off. I love how quiet and chilled the cows are- I milked in a 10 stall auto tandem (5 each side) and I bloody loved it! See all the cow, if 1 was being naughty she didn't upset all the rest. Iv milked in a 24/48 herringbone swing over and I hated the thing, rush rush rush and shit everywhere!!! Your parlour may be old, outdated, but it does the job and easy to use, low maintenance. Carry on chap, all the best to you and your family.
BOY some monster cattle
Back up game is tight.
I Love it Kip. Chucky chicken 🐄🐄💩💩. Stay warm 😎🥶
Sun's out, Guns out. Cmon girls, LETS GO!
Your 1st calf heifers are huge
Wow zero-40 here in northern Alberta Canada non that’s cold
Man you guys do have some blue ribbon Holstein milkers and remarkable shape your bulls are champion blood lines for sure if I had to guess
We live in kentwood Michigan and love your videos!! Do you have a P.O. box where we could send something for the baby? Thanks for another great video.
Do your brothers have the same positive “let’s go “ attitude as you do?
You keep the winter overthere and a question, do you test the cows every 4 or 5 weeks indivitual for protein fat celcount and pounds of milk? Thanks man and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
If you run a fake electric fence wire over the top of the feed bunks would that keep the cows from climbing on top of it. reduce the chance of injurers climbing up and down. Do you have any salt or mineral blocks mounted any where in the cow yard
Love your videos Kip. I was wondering how you keep the bulls from running in the parlor? Or do you let them pass through?
Do you have trouble with down cows when the concrete is slick like that?
Let’s go
Hi, just subscribed
You walked right by one bagging when you were talking to the camera
Wel about that cold better you than me.😞😞😞😞
them cows t..... are gone to freeze off brrrrrr
Not a farmer so excuse me for asking, but when you went to feed the dry cows and pushed the snow into a pile to harden up,Why didn't you just dump it over the wall to the outside? Also liked that the cows milking get to read the daily news lol.
I’ve always wondered how your cows get up into the parlor. Is it stairs or ramp? And how long is it?
Hey Kip, does your farm produce grass fed milk? And if not could you please make a video telling the facts about where and what types of milk are produced? I can tell the difference between Walmart, Sam’s Club and Horizon grass fed. Thanks 😊
Did you not watch him feed the COWS 🤔🤔
Wendy C. This guy doesn't do grass feed Wendy and as far as I can tell very few American dairy farmers do and any that do only seem to incorporate about 10 to 15 percent of grass into the cows overall diet whereas in Ireland and newzealand grass accounts for about 95 percent of the cows diet. Of course American dairy farmers achieve far higher level of production than Irish or kiwi dairy farmers but have far higher costs of production.
@@nsgkuaov thanks for your answer 😁
I just subscribed !!!
nothing like scraping manure to make you hungry!
Do you guys have many frozen tests. When it's cold up there. Do here on Illinois.
Maybe one or two a winter, heifer lays on concrete or something
How do the cows stand up to freezing cold weather? Do they have enough fur?
Yes they’re built well for the winter
Love your channel! I grew up on my family's dairy farm northeast of Brown City. I googled siegler dairy farm and it says it's on brown city Rd near imaly city. Is that your farm?
