I've studied European history and literature for over 20 years and everything he said about the lack of hygiene even amongst the elite of Europe during the Dark Ages (and prior) is correct. In fact, this period of time is called the Dark Ages for three reasons: (a) a lack of cultural innovations as compared to the later Renaissance era (b) the aforementioned dirty conditions of daily life (c) the dark peoples of Africa coming into Europe to help clean and educate Europeans by establishing shipping routes, universities, fashion (yes, fashion), cleaning habits, and medication to help Europeans beat the bubonic plague. Regarding the Mexico kidnapping, there could be more to the story. However, it's not unheard of or crazy that someone would drive to Mexico. Some people are deathly afraid of flying, and will hop in a car over a plane no matter how long it takes.
But you’re not afraid of going to a foreign country for “cosmetic surgery.” That makes no sense. I call cap on this entire kidnapping story. Drug bust gone wrong.

Exactly why I wear my mask on the plane. I flew a few weeks ago and two people behind me were coughing, nasty coughs, sniffing and sneezing the whole way. Just gross because I am sure they did not cover their mouths at all. Just nasty!

Agreed Q! I went to Egypt a little over a year ago and their police stood in the middle of the street armed as well as the entrance to the Sahara desert. Our hotel searched us every time we came back and didn’t let us leave without searching inside and under the taxi or Uber we felt so safe!
That was my experience as well in 2020
More info on the Mexico incident. The girl did have her friend with her. She didn’t have a passport. A bunch of friends traveling together. Those people ain’t had no money to fly. Some times we have to reserve our opinion. If even stop taking your change trying to have cosmetic surgery. Do something local or work out. Don’t go to Mexico for anything in my opinion.

We live in Puerto Vallarta every summer and for years we’ve never had any issues. We are expecting to retire there so don’t let all of Mexico hinder you from traveling there.

I've been to a few "parties" before. It definitely is an experience but understandably, not for everyone. But from my experience, it's fun. No need for conversation, and a time experiment and explore your sexuality without feeling like you're being judged, and if you don't want to do anything and just watch, you can. If you're curious, try it but if you think it's disgusting, stay away from it lol. Everyone has their tastes and preferences, and I wouldn't try to force/pressure someone to try something they're not into/don't like.
