i have a question about hunting clothes, I heard on a podcast “Southern Outdoors” a guest say that you had to be careful washing your cloths because you could accidentally enhance the colors in the hunting clothes to ultraviolet which a turkey can see . Is this true ? and if so can you do a video on hunting cloths care please?

I have a video on bringing the color back to your old camo that ill be posting soon. With regard to the UV effect on clothes I wouldn’t put too much stock in that, I won’t say that’s not true because I’m not a biologist, but I’d say if you have quality camo that is not faded you’ll be just fine for turkeys.
I have a buddy that uses plain old army bdus from probably the 80s that does just fine. I have seen clothing wash that diminishes UVs in clothing but they’ve just never really struck me (or many other hunters) as necessary

I agree! They are great for cooking down slow in a pressure cooker or crock pot! Perhaps I should do a follow up on the video. This hunter did not care to keep them on that morning.

Slow cooker - chopped for bbq or salad. Great option, just wasn’t part of this video.
