TURKEY HUNTING - RIGHT OFF THE ROOST - Virginia Gobbler at 12 Steps | 12-YEAR-OLD TURKEY HUNTER!

Today we are tuning in on a special time of year - Youth Season in Virginia. There's just nothing like the springtime and getting after the longbeards but it's 10 times the fun to see the little ones get a crack at them. Today we have some up close and personal action as Edward and his daughter get after a gobbler in Southeast Virginia on the youth opener. Edward and Georgia have a less-than-desirable setup for a gobbler but manage to pull things together and get the shot off at this mean ole bird. This gobbler was coming in looking for a fight and Georgia delivered just that. The Steven's 301 topped with a Burris Fastfire 3 and running the Herter #9 TSS was just what it took to face plant this old war bird. This off the roost hunt is one for the books as they yelp this ole gobbler into range for the Stevens 301 at 25 yards. Edwards using a Batwing mouth call by Old Place Outdoors to close the deal on this gobbler.

Thanks! That's a Burris FastFire 3, it just has the little cover on ther as I believe it kinda gives the shooter more of a scope feel that they are used to. Figure it may cut down on the glare and of course protect the sight some too.
