    The storied Specialized Stumpjumper EVO-arguably the most famous mountain bike model in the history of our sport-is back for 2021, and the newest incarnation feels more refined and adjustable than ever before. With a headtube angle that’s adjustable from 65.5 degrees all the way down to 63 degrees, and a bottom bracket with height adjustability from 32 millimeters of drop to a ground-hugging 39 millimeters of drop, the new Stumpjumper EVO Expert we tested comes with multiple geometry options that can radically change its personality on a wide variety of terrain.

      I've watched this video 20 times now, 19 before I got my Stumpy Evo and now again after I've ridden it myself. This review is just as amazing as the bike! The excitement and enjoyment of his ride had me so giddy to get my own. And I was dead set on a Ripmo, which is an incredible bike, but this Stumpy is unreal. Smiles for days.

      What is the difference between the evo version of this bike and the other version (the expert)?

    • @richardpreiss646
      @richardpreiss646 Před rokem

      @@googlyboogly1060 The relevant distinction is between the regular Stumpjumper (Specialized’s all-around, mid-travel trail bike) and the Stumpjumper Evo (same frame material, but beefier, higher travel, slacker head angle, adjustable geometry, different pivot design, meant for all-mountain use and more aggressive descents). “Expert” refers only to the build level (ie spec). Below Expert is Comp (lower end components) and above Expert are Pro, S-Works (higher end components).

      @pjsanab Před 3 lety

      Sentinel V2 is a playful bike and I’m not a Transition fan, I’m more to Ibis, Revel and Yeti’s bikes.
      Based on the Pinkbike on review of the 2021 Stumpjumper Evo, it was mentioned that for bike park days maybe a 0.86 spacer will be a better option for the shock... so this suggest this bike bottoms out harshly on big stuff. Also a 0.86 spacer is not recommended by Fox for that size of shock. I can provide the manufacturer website link to prove this.
      So based on that detail it seems the rear shock of this bike needs to be replaced to be capable of competing with a Transition Sentinel V2.

      All the bikes we test are tested as they come spec'd from the manufacturer.

    Hey, I picked up one of these yesterday and front brake has fallen victim to the SRAM brake warble sound. Advice? Or is it unavoidable?

      Congrats on the new bike! Id suggest taking it into your local bike shop to have them asses the problem.

      Also..a bike with a HA of 63, woulnd't be exactly what I'd call a trail bike.
