Her explanations are better than most, if not all, of the men posting videos on handgun grip. She is a first rate instructor.

Best video ever about handgun shooting! Unbelievable how in less than 4 minutes you managed to condense such an incredible amount of information!
What an outstanding explanation! Clear description accompanied by visual examples makes this one of the best tutorials I've seen.
Well said. You're an amazing instructor and a world class performer. Thank you for putting out such great content Julie.
Your instruction is excellent. Check out 2;06 where the girl in the sample has her elbows LOCKED right after you said we are NOT to do this. THank you for this.
One of the best explanations on grip.Thank you for the show and tell.Much appreciated
Julie just explained everything perfectly for everyone! Thank you for doing what you do Julie! #PioneerGC
Julie, I watch your videos the day before going to the range, and I ask my friends to do the same. Your safety videos and then foundational advice, starting with grip & stance, are a staple before touching a pistol in my house.
Love S&W pistols...they became an addiction. M&Ps better and better over last decade. Love my revolvers too. So happy to have some new/reintroduced K frames.
Thank You Ms. JULIE GULLOB OF MY GUN CLUB 🔫❤️💙🙏
FANTASTIC Demonstration and instruction. Thank you
A truly top notch presentation here, thanks Julie!
You are the one and only, Julie, second to none! 💓

Absolutely Beautiful Tutorial!! Thank you so much Julie. 🙏🇺🇸
This helped me so much more than any other info I’ve received & videos I’ve watched!! Thank you!!
Great instructional video and it’s free! Thank you!
Great info and instruction! Thank you!
you remind me of my rehabilitation councilor, she was awesome ! got out of rehab in nine months🤕 ! thanks great info calming voice . much appreciated.
There’s always something to learn in this community, even for intermediate folks.
Excellent presentation. Thanks for sharing
Good solid information Julie!
Nicely done. Thank you.
Omg excellent job
You hit the nail on the head
Great video Julie
Excellent information. Thank you Julie.
Thanks so much!
I started with the grip the way you show and had a range instructor tell me the I should cup the bottom with my non dominate hand but it never felt right. I am glad to see I wasn't wrong in my way and it feels more comfortable. Now if it wasn't so expensive to shoot at the last call ranges I could practise more. Waiting for them to open national park land to shoot for free. Ought to be military no charge to keep comfortable with their guns. I carry everyday
Same here. I was taught in the Army basically what Julie was explaining here, and I was at a range when the instructor helping the couple in the next long tried calling me out, saying my grip and stance were shit.
I told him I'm shooting, not holding a tea-cup at a garden club.
Nice explanation of a good grip.
i love this series you two have taught me so much ! thank you smith & wesson . ken and julie you two rule love you both .
So glad to hear it!!!! Thank you!

Thanks for watching!
Great information from a great shooter!
Thank you!!!
Awesome
Good Information Lady
Great video tips
Thanks!
This is excellent. I hurt my back, and i'm old and less strong. THings I'm learning in Phys Therapy are similar to what you are doing, ankle.knee bend, butt-out, back stratight. and the rest of it - i can't wait to try. With the pandemic, I haven't shot at all for about a year at least. i went to the club, and shot my .22 semi. ho hum, NP. but when i grabbed my Glock 21 (45c) it was awful - couldn't control recoil, even completely missed the target a few times. I got the glock grandfathered, so I have a 10+1 and 13+1. I empties the 13+1 and shot so badly, that i didn't even shoot the second. Like most responsibe gun owners, safety is # 1 with me. I vowed I wouldn't shoot the G21 until I took a lesson from someone who knows glock 21's. But thanks to you and your vid, I can pull it out practice while trying your technique a few times. Then off to the club to give it a go again. Thanks so much. Badass. :) will let you know how it goes.
Thank you and I shared this
Appreciate it and you!
Julie Golob thank you 🙏🏻
Good information to know, thanks! And since nobody else has said it, she's also gorgeous!
Could you include info on your revolver shooting, include of course finger placement. By the way, I also shoot left handed. Thank you for a fascinating overview!
Gracias Smith and Wesson gracias Julie, les escribo desde Guatemala 🇬🇹 sería genial subtitulados en español o traducción a español. 👍🏻
De nada! :)
Guatemalteco en Chicago. Just bought my M&P 2.0 Full
1:05: make sure you don’t lock your elbows. 1:43, 2:07: continues to straighten out and lock elbows and fire. Noice.
Julie, what kind of bullets do you recommend to practice for a beginner (for example:plastic..?)
I used to carry a. 357 2 1/2 bbl K frame back in '78. I would like to find one example like that that I can buy today.
Would you do the same video using a revolver for first time shooters?
What ear protection are you using. My Walker's aren't cutting it even with extra earplugs.
Thank you for the lesson I am currently looking to purchase my first firearm and I have been to the range a few times and your videos help me decide which firearm I would like I aiming towards glock or canik
Right handed but dominate eye is my left eye. Any suggestions?
Awesome advice! Never thought to letting my thumb rest on the fire safety button before. Going to try that out and see if that works. Thanks!
Good explanation, though with one caveat: You cannot do thumbs forward and high on a revolver. Not unless you want to lose one, anyway.
Like the stances, but I'm a revolver shooter, where your thumb (left) is will get partially burned or damaged near the wheel of a revolver.. your exercise must be for the semi auto guns.. but I will look into another video for my kind of gripping for a revolver...but thanks for the stance and arm training
How do I help my Girlfriend Have more control on her Pistol? Don't get me wrong She is very very Skilled. But she lives in NY, and she does have a carry permit in NY. but she can't just go outside and shoot like I can. Would a laser training system help her?
Very good explanation but is she shooting at night? Those are some loud bugs. At least it's not some cheesy and distracting music soundtrack.
1:42 but you locked your elbows here don't you?
Yup
Those elbows definitely look locked....
Dont lock your arms.... Proceeds to lock her arms....
Just here to laugh at simps in the comment section
Makes you feel great, huh?
Huh. So you can actually be a gun expert without being a macho meathead. Who knew?
If you can get into a proper stance then you are not using cover and concealment correctly. Footing is what you should concentrate on.
There are different reasons for shooting firearms. This grip/stance combo helps beginners.
@@craiggaulzetti8160 what are you talking about? You seriously need to lay off the keyboard warrior shit.
@@juliegolob I agree, stay safe and stay deadly.
