I just want to say I LOVE this style. While I don’t like to use rubber bands in my hair, I just use a small piece of regular braiding hair, just to secure the passion hair to my head (bc the passion hair is so slippery). As someone who is knew to braiding (and sux at tucking hair) this style is very effortless. Bc it’s so curly and “boho” looking, the style is a lot more forgiving as it frizzes overtime, and loose ends of hair begin to pock out. I absolutely adore passion twist, but bc of my loose curl pattern, the style sadly does not work for me. So this is a perfect consolation hair style for me when I don’t wanna commit an entire day to doing regular box braids. Thanks for the great video❤️🔥

What length did you use ?
Can you please explain how exactly do you adjust the three strands to different lengths? Would it be 1 short piece and 2 long pieces on both sides?
You just make the 3 sections (6 halves total cuz of 3 pieces of hair) , various lengths. Try to get a short and a long in each section. You do this so that the braid will stay together if that makes sense lol

Why so my rubber bands break?
Try opting for a thicker rubber band, they sell packs at the dollar store.
Oil breaks down the elasticity in the rubber band, so the thinner the band, the quicker it breaks down!

Yes I can’t use braiding hair because it’s too heavy for my hair. Unlike this hair which is lightweight !
