They could have had a million different ways to make them seem like good guys, but they went with prophetic loom. Even being CIA employed assassins, and they intercept a kill order on the leader would have been better.
I can't hate this movie, it's just so fun and over the top that's always a pleasure to rewatch. The Fuck You keyboard scene is so underrated

@@David-iv6je i just saw it yesterday and it was pretty enjoyable, obviously over the top but still a unique fun action movie with a cool concept. Plus it had symbolism and underlying themes about fate and stuff so its not just shlock like a lot of other action movies. I'm not going to act like it's high art but I'd say its a good movie.
Plus the Xbox game was actually not terrible

Yeah, Ryan N, I nearly busted up laughing out loud in this library I'm in when Jeremy uttered that line. It would also be the one and only Fast and Furious movie I'd bother going to see with any enthusiasm whatsoever purely to see just how much Jeremy would froth at his mouth in such rage.
You normally get everything right, but where you were talking about the scene where Wesley and Fox are on the train going to assinate the guy at the head of the table in the conference room. You thought that when he doesn't pull the trigger on the "first" try they go back to the hideout and then Wesley is in the pool of wax. And then sometime later he goes back on the train and in his "second" attempt he curves the bullet and kills him. In reality what happened was in the "first" chance scene when Wesley didn't pull the trigger in the straight-on shot opportunity and then the scene flicks to him and Fox in the wax pool talking, THAT SCENE IS A FLASHBACK. They had that conversation in the wax pool prior to them riding the train to go kill his first target. When Fox's story is over and it flicks back to them on the train, that is the same time frame as before, the train had been moving for a little bit as he was recalling the story and therefore that is why he had to curve the bullet to kill the guy at the head of the table.
I understand the director and editors didn't make that very apparent and I honestly didn't catch it until probably my 3rd viewing.

Few things, first the reason he enlisted Wesley so quickly was to get rid of cross and then immediately has fox kill wes. And Wesley's dad did know where he lived, he was kinda stalking him all the time watching over him and never told him because he didn't want the fraternity finding him.
This was so well done! I love to see an established franchise still improving.

As soon as Freeman explained the weavers and the loom to McAvoy, that movie died for me. There is a lot of bullshit that I can take in movies, A LOT!!, but that was too much. How was Freeman able to say all that bullshit with a straight face? :D

Which is possibly the dumbest thing especially if you take that fate actually exists in this movie. The loom put his name down because he was going to be evil... Because the loom put his name down. Do you see how stupid it is?
Furthermore, the loom put down the name of all major assassins, because they did evil things because their boss made them because he wouldn't yield to the magic loom...
LoL I think the loom actually predicted who gonna die in the near future, not the one to kill.
My question with the scene at 16:00 has always been how does the other fraternity members know that those kill orders with their names on them are all authentic? Wesley told them that Sloan was making false kill orders. So Sloan could've easily made those kill orders to make them think their names really came up and he was protecting them. Their names may have never came up, just Sloan's.
The keyboard scene should have removed one scene. I mean, Prof. X Spelled Fuck you by smashing a keyboard against Star Lord's face. That deserves a sin removal!

8:54 - It's to help him control his ability to perceive time in a slowed state. They explain it in the movie. And slowing your perception of time would be incredibly useful for an assassin.

I'm disappointed that there was no acknowledgement here of the red stapler as an "Office Space" homage. Also, at the end, why was Sloan already holding everybody's Loom kill orders like he somehow knew he was going to need them to make a point?
I always had a problem with this movie. It felt over hyped to me and when it came out, all my friends thought it was awesome. I asked the same question: "If you can curve a bullet, then why not do that all the time for every kill and stay safely behind cover?"

10:51 when i watched this, i thought that this was the first time continued, wesley just remembered not to hesitate after remembering the convo he had with fox
13:40 I still remember that horrible building along the Brown/Red line and while I wondered why it stood so long, was kinda sad to see the ugly yellow siding to go.
Also, even though this movie is kinda wacky in terms of plot, the ending when Wesley breaks the Fourth Wall and says "What the f*ck have you done lately?" Still gives me chills.

In shocked you didn't make a video for wanted years ago, I saw a lot the first time I watched it.
This and Watchmen are my favorite comic book movies! I know this is far from the source material but I love both of their action styles and that they're not about superheroes.
Surprised you didn't sin the scene where Cross is trying to save Wesley's life and keep him from falling, which is not something a man who wants to kill you would do, so Wesley decided this is the best time to shoot him. Even after he told him he was his dad, he didn't decided to use his brain a bit until after he'd killed him. Then he stops and thinks for a second, and asks Fox if he was telling the truth.
Adrenaline...also its a movie, bot that deep.

So just to say when they're on the train to kill the dude in the office, that's not 2 separate days where he fails on the first and then kills him the next. I am pretty sure it's them in the train and he has a straight shot and hesitates, then the conversation about killing someone to save a thousand I think is a flashback, that's why he's in the bath, because he had been hurt from training before. Then when he bends the bullet to kill the guy it was basically split seconds after his hesitation he remembered about the conversation and bended the bullet to kill him. So on the train, clear shot and hesitates, remembers the conversation, and decides to go through with it when they round the corner.

I went to grab a soda during the magic Loom of Destiny part and when I came back and saw what was going on I thought I was watching a different movie all together.

i absolutely love this movie and i've never been happier to see it slandered
i mean i always had my doubts about the weird fucking loom thing but goddamn i still love this movie, though i'm surprised this video didn't bring up a lot of the obvious easter egg things. like how the flyer in the left of the shot when Wesley is looking at cross's house for the first time in the first part of the movie says 'your father's son'. or when barry gets hit in the face with keyboard (and this one's rather obvious) the keys flying through air spell out 'fuck you' (but i mean it that like dude you're supposed to notice that). and then the news papers reading 'wanted' when wesley leaves the office building for the last time. there are more i think but it took me like 12 viewings just to find that poster one so

I'm honestly kind of disappointed with Morgan Freeman after this and Lucy for promoting terrible, horrendous science. Okay, sure, bullets curving is a cool plot mechanic for this one movie. But I'll never forgive him for being in Lucy and promoting that "We only use 10% of our brain" BS. He's better than that, he should have avoided that movie. Must've paid well, though.
