The man speaks! It’s so nice to give the frontman a break and have the chance to get to know other members of the band. Drummers are criminally under-appreciated.

It's really nice to see an interview with someone besides Noah. All the guys seem great so it's just refreshing to get to know someone else since Noah does the majority of the interviews.
Nick is such a bright, nice, charming guy. and he’s just an amazing drummer, probably the most talented drummer I’ve ever seen, his energy is killing

Nick is the fuckin man. Met him before a show and he was the most down to earth dude, very cool to meet these legends and they end up making you feel like they’re not a famous musician but just a homie for a little bit. Then you see them on stage an hour later and remember who they really are, savages.
I love this! Thank you for having Folio on because I feel like we never get to see or hear his perspective on anything. Seems like a humble guy.
A few minutes about eggs and fishing. Nick is a very observant, quiet and cute boy, it's notorious. He deserves every success. 🤟🏻🖤

Saw bad omens live and as a drummer the one thing I noticed is how hard nick plays. Great show and everything in a drummer I love.

I always watch the drummers at concerts, it just blows my mind how someone can do so many things at the same time. Also love watching random drum covers and playhtroughs. Nirvana would be headlining my dream festival, almost got to see them in 1993.
I was about 10 years old when my brother started working at festivals for a company that worked with a tv channel. I don't know who was the drummer I saw when I went to a small rock festival with my parents, I can't remember the band either but I know it was the first thing I noticed when I took a look at the stage. Drumming fascinates all the time, especially if you tried it by yourself. It looks so easy but it's so fucking hard. Seeing Nick drumming makes so much fun. His energy is incredible😍

I love that he’s in a Black motorcycle club that’s been around since the 70s. Fucking amazing. And happy for him finally being able to buy the bike that he’s always wanted. Definitely a sweet voice, I have to agree with some of the other comments.

Awesome interview. They always have a chill vibe when it’s just two friends talking and hanging out. Folio seemed a little nervous maybe at first but it was good to see him loosen up. First and only time I saw Stray and Bad Omens was last St Patrick Day in Brooklyn, hope you guys can tour again.

i saw bad omens way back when they opened up for asking alexandria with born of osiris and after the burial. they only had one album then. crazy to see how quickly they have blown up in a short amount of time

Even though I know nothing about drums, I love hearing y'all talk about it and pretend I'm getting insight into the music. I'm sat here trying to imagine what y'all are actually talking about. Pretty fun actually. More fun than guitars too. A guitar is just a guitar, but a drum has so many parts and it seems like you can add extra things too that are not "necessary." Pretty cool.
Yes BUT without guitars it would sound boring. We need guitar and bass, too. But that's also what I love about drums. You can exchange or add anything you want and it can also change your style😀

Honestly, this style with you and the guest shooting the shit over drinks that seemed to start with Ali, is my fav. But I understand why you gotta polish it up, case in point Mario from Gojira. But hopefully we can get a mix of both in the future. 🤘

Did not expect to love this so much! I love the easy going conversations. I love Nick’s drumming. Inspiring and Nick seems like such a sweet guy. Glad to find the one interview of Nick. Sorry for fanfiction. I bet that’s really weird. Never new about it until lately. Love the gear talk too. Fyi Bonnaroo Festival has a glamping feel. 100% recommend it. Both keep up the great work !

Finally a member other than Noah and Jolly doing an interview! The band is great but the obsession with the band is ridiculous. They are nothing to obsess Over and I don't mean that in a bad way but like they are human and deserve to be treated like normal people
I like the intros. I also don’t mind ads at all. If you got the opportunity to work with other brands then I want to hear about it. I want you and the downbeat to continue being successful so do what you gotta do! Everyone else can just skip the intro if they don’t like it
This is great. I loved this! I do love Nick's Southern accent. But man, if you think this is Southern, you haven't heard anything yet. 😂 Also, people in Florida usually don't sound that Southern... But I guess British people wouldn't know that... Just one of those strange quirks about American accents. I'll definitely have to check out more episodes of your podcast.

i'm not even sure if it's legal but i have an old school zil bell as well (cup style) that rings forever.. i just threw a moon gel in the inside of the cup at 12 and 6 and it still cuts hard but it dies out pretty quickly. might keep them on there going forward
