The last CCD DSLR from Nikon, the D3000 was aimed at users who wanted a small and easy to use camera, that was affordable.
This entry model still remains popular today years after it's 2009 release, thanks to it's low price on the used market and simple operation.
In my review I provide comprehensive information on the D3000 including a body tour, menus and operation, as well as practical field tests and sample images.

Excellent review. For these entry level types, I'm partial to the D60 with the same CCD type sensor as the great old D200.

I like the output, bar the slightly bright exposure I mention it's very pleasing. But if it's as good as the legendary 6MP CCD not sure! Thanks for watching appreciate it! D200 is on the list of cameras to look at too!

Good review, thorough as usual bro. Does the 3000 have the rangefinder feature in the optical finder, or is that just the D60? I forget!
