Sorry about the out of stock items! Hopefully they'll come back soon.
Loved the video, Caleb. More of these, please. Also which portable battery do you recommend for charging XT-3 batteries with the USB charger?
Your video must have caused a fire-sale on these items! Some were out of stock the same day as your release!
sheeeeeesh first light is gone on amazon! thanks for the video !
Was the Andoer light price a mistake? I've seen them a few times and always at like 50 dollars.
Hello can you please confirm that Andoer LED MFL-07 is $20? it is around $50 everywhere else
..... holy jeez, how can you have just sold me on like 15 items in 10 minutes. This is the most valuable video i've seen all year.
Hahaha dude made me break my Amazon ordering freeze I had going on
Well yeah man when you can get 20 useful things for like 400 bucks thats hella worth it
That RGB light alone is hella value tho i wanna buy like 10 of em
@@Ben-rz9cf I bought ones, but different brand (mine Weeylite, from Viltrox)... let me tell you, those mini light is AMAZING! it does help you had small light and lighting video/photo in ease, especially in tight space, or you just need to bounce it to wall to create fill-in, or like he does, give a colored accent in background with ease. but there is one problem with this mini light, THEY ARE FREAKIN HOT IN FULL BLAST! and the heat does make battery life quite a bit low due heat protection for the battery it self (mine only last 1 hour in full blast), but again, use around 40-60% is already great tool to had if you shoot video in lower light condition or adding accent color on the back...
p.s: I intrigue to try Andoer brand, as mine one, Weeylite RB-08P, had certain negative point that I quite itch on it, which is: It more expensive compared to Andoer (I bought Weeylite around $30 ish), you cannot set brightness below 10% and the RGB mode is quite jumpy in certain color (you can see it if you set to party mode and quite noticeable). But the light color quality for fill in is great and you can simulate natural light with 2 way: in Kelvin (2400K - 8500K) or in Scene Mode (flashgun, shade, cloudy, tungsten, fluorescent, daylight), which both of them give me amazing result.
Right! Lol
More of these videos, keep it up!
Man, you have no idea how great these videos are. For many of us, not splashing big dollars on gear regularly, a list like this is pure gold. Thanks for that!
Arms, clamps, and mounts are absolute solid gold when you're out on set. We have the majority of these items but there's definitely a few here we might have to consider. Like that extension cord splitter thing! That's genius! Velcro on the battery packs is a really smart move too, love that!
Love this type of content. Amazon & co. are full of cheap items, but getting some pointers on what's actually useful from someone who tried them on the field is invaluable. Thanks Caleb!
So many youtubers make videos like these so frequently that I almost don’t click on them because most of the time it’s useless stuff. This was ALL stuff that I would probably go and buy!
Love this! Will definitely be getting that angled hdmi cable. Appreciate these vids.
More of these! That little "sunset" light is sooo cool with the fringing. It's a feature, not a bug! Thanks Caleb
LOVE this kind of video dude! Absolutely going to pick up one of those Andoer lights when they come back in stock 😅
$50 light it seems... got the Caleb Pike discount 😂
Yep. They gone!
an old phone might just do the same thing no?
@@eamonnw color quality is a real thing. If it compares to the Aputure AL-MX thing is BRIGHT
I'm about to be adding pretty much all of these to my kit. Keep these gear list videos coming - you always find great options.
This was a fun series! I appreciate the variety of products you feature that I tend to forget that I need until production time comes, then forget again thereafter.
Perfect! I'll grab a couple of those things definitely tomorrow!! Make a similar video for gear under 50. I liked that you left aside things like boom arms, microphones and other gear that at this price range is a total piece of crap and you showed gear that is more complimentary but totally worth to have! Keep it up!
Yes, $50, $100 and maybe even $10 lists in the works!
These videos are perfect for me because I am a simple hobby photographer/videographer and budget gadgets like these are fun to experiment with while still being easy on the wallet. Great video Caleb! Look forward to all your videos!
Dude thank you so much for this! I’ve seen cheap camera equipment videos before and some of it was actually very cheap in quality but this right here that you did is super helpful and dope. Thanks for showing the product and suggesting/ showing how they can be used. Super helpful!
I really like this type of series. I learn about products I've never seen. Plus a series on lights is how I found your channel a few years ago.
This was really interesting and I'd certainly like to see more! I like your selection of lights and I too like that circle one (including the fringe, which I think adds a little detail)!
I love when you do these types of vids. You show so many things that we might not even known about. I also like when you do the different Tier price ranges, those help a lot. Great vid like always
Hey Caleb, love these equipment videos. Ideal for the more budget-minded, but relevant to all creators. As a creator based in the UK, I love the post-video challenge of finding equivalent options in the UK.
Thank you very much for your extremely informative videos! Between this one, the “Perfect Rig”, and the “Best Bags” videos, I’ve both organized and streamlined all of my gear...Thanks again, and keep up the great work!
This is the perfect video for all filmmakers. So many of these items might not be the first choice, but are always great to still have as a backup in your possession, and won’t break the bank.
This might be my favorite video of yours. Usually I only find value in one item on these types of lists, but this whole video is fantastic and I’m going to grab most of it!
Love hearing about things for us lower-level folks, Caleb. Quality as always.
YES! More of this. You are the KING of tips and tricks and weird gear that is sooo useful. Keep it up.
For people starting out or looking to rig stuff up, these are great. Please make more
Caleb, that was great! Thank you so much. You just showed me several items I can use that will be really helpful to me in my youtube production.
Videos like this are the most valuable for the greatest number of us.
Can't do it right now, but I'm going to get a bunch of these things-----USEFUL and INEXPENSIVE---that's a killer one-two punch.
Again, thank you so much!
You are one of the very best to recommend "Cheap Gear" and I love your joy for hunting down great deals, and share them with us.
I started from complete bottom, most gear used, Old Hedler Lights, semi broken stands, and some of your recommendations regarding lenses, small LEDs, Monitors etc. And now i made enough money to buy "a bit" more expensive gear, and take it to next level. I will never stop listing to you, and the Purple guy....
Thank you Jannik! Means a lot to hear that and congratulations on growing/upgrading!
Thank You Caleb !!! best video I've seen all day, so much stuff to add to my shopping list that I will actually use, more of these video please 👍🏾
Loved it! I always appreciate your budget gear and equipment videos. Besides saving money, it's also a great look into approaching shoots. If the tools are reliable and compact, I'm sold!
Super helpful video, Caleb! Lots of little gizmos that will help a lot with future videos. Always looking for more stuff to add to my Amazon cart. 😀
You always do these gear videos and it just gets me thinking how I want to see your organization skills. Let's see a BTS video on how you keep track and store all your gear!
I appreciate these type of videos. Helps me pick products to solve my videography problems.
Great video, love this type of content. Finding me things I had no idea I needed but absolutely have to have!
Love it! When you start this just what you need!! Thanks for these awesome items!
Loved it! You should totally do more videos like these!
I love this video. I really like the tip about adding velcro to your portable charger. Brilliant!
Love vids like this if for no other reason that they give me use ideas I had not as yet considered. Keep 'em coming, please!
Amazing video! Invaluable tips, Caleb! Thank you and looking forward to other similar ones.
Subscribed! Been binge watching your videos, thank you for sharing so much helpful information, for being a great teacher and for having a voice/speaking style that's easy on the ears 👍💯⭐
More of these budget stuff you use, please! This one’s really helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for the excellent list of photo gadgets and the explanation of their use. Really like this format and hope you will do future videos similar to this in the future.
That battery charger/portably battery tip is super!! Thanks as always for the quality content, Caleb!
Loved this video! There is such a great selection of items I didn't know I needed that you mentioned. And they're all affordable! This is so informative. Thanks!
Man, I have been watching your channel for years along with all of the other tech youtubers that most people know and NONE OF THEM have brought as much value to my channel/knowledge in ways that are ACTUALLY applicable and affordable.
Will use your links brother and thanks for all of the rigs, lenses, oddly cheap amazon parts we all want to buy but dont because we know that 90% of the time suck, that you review for us.
Best and thanks again!
Thank you so much for the kind words Zaids! Means so much to hear that from you!
this kind of videos is common for tech youtubers but finally we have a video focused version, Thanks Caleb!
The only Andoer MFL-07 I could find was going for $60 at Walmart. The Amazon link says "currently unavailable". But, everywhere else I looked, you were looking at $50-$60.
Yeah, I have no idea where he got it for $20
@@VarietyShow aliexpress
This was great! Definitely would be interested in more of these.
The video went live and the Andover light immediately went out of stock. We definitely do need these kind of videos
It also costs more than $20 dollars from the places that are still selling it. This seems like one of those cases where Caleb just got lucky, and managed to find some of these items at a cheaper price. These videos can be great, but they can also be really misleading.
@@Solarstar10 Actually, in the first 35 mins the video was live, it actually way 20$, I literally watched the price go up on eBay from 25$ to 64$. Caleb wasn’t wrong, it’s just these lights didn’t have the popularity before he mentioned them
@@Solarstar10 it was definitely 20 when the video came out. I immediately bought 2 for €17 each from US Amazon. This was minutes after the video came out though.
None of the links are the actual products in the video - they are just other brands that Amazon fish up. Maybe its because they were originally US links changed into UK links.
That first light must have been $20 for all of 2 days after you released this video.
great vid, thanks for being so quick to the point with each item
Super nice! I love this type of videos. It gives me tons of ideas, especially for a beginner like me. Thanks to you, man!
Holy CRAP! Its Christmas shopping in November. My goodness, Santa Clause Caleb. This video shopping list is phenomenal. The list included several items I had been searching for that were much-much more expensive, accomplishing the same purpose. Bless you!
This is the OG video series when I found this channel, what a throwback! MORE PLEASE!
This reminds me of your video about manual Nikkor lenses from back in the day -- super helpful and inspiring!
Great stuff Caleb! Those lights look pretty cool and definitely in the market for solid affordable ball heads!
Great videos as always. I'm going to order a couple of things on the list. I hope your finger heals fast. I had my index finger in one of those for a couple of weeks and it was a real pain to deal with. I even started to shut it in a door without thinking. OUCH!
Definitely more these please, great stuff 👊🏼
Thank you so much for sharing all these beautiful list of the finest things under 20,it's very important and useful, surely will consider to have them 🙏
I have the smallrig clamp and two nano clamps and they come in handy all the time for things you wouldnt really think to do. I attached my phone mount to one end and clamp the other in my car and now i have a phone mount system i can position all over the place. great finds and video
Great video. I learn a bunch of new inexpensive products. Thanks for taking the time to make this video
You always do the best budget gear videos, I have bought so much gear from your videos/recommendations/links!
I love them. Probably the most interesting one was the lens light because the light has a 3D effect. Thank you for sharing
Great video.....keep them coming my dude. Also, youre lighting is absolute GOALS!!!!
Caleb giving us the finger lol. In all seriousness, these accessories are great, that pocket RGB is a steal!
@jf blanco yeah, am seeing the Europe tax in price here also from the UK. Cheapest I’ve found is £45 with long postage from China but, looking back, Caleb has another video on the Aputure MC’s that look awesome too! I may just go for those instead, especially with the ability to manage them via your phone.
That video is definitely worth a look as theres not much difference in the price for us.
@jf blanco 23€ en Aliexpress. Eso sí, tardan 15 días en llegar. Probare a ver qué tal!
This is absolutely an awesome review presenting a whole lot of really useful filmmaker gadgets at a great price point.
thanks a ton, mate!
I've been waiting for you to do this again! thank you so much!
Always always impressed with the visual quality of these videos! Insane!
Man I was waiting for you to do one of those affordable gear video, it's been so long, really nice looking forward for the next one.
More of these! I love those little lights, definitely interested in picking some up
As a new camera user, I find this very helpful. Thank you.
very useful. thanks. keep up this format.it helps
Awesome video these really help find those hard to find products at a great price thanks heaps Caleb 😃👍
Subscribed incase you make more of these 👍🏼 thanks for the cool stuff I didn’t know I need!
I very much love these types of videos! Great job and thanks for putting in the effort!
This is a fantastic video that is actually useful and informative. Love to find out about new gear I never knew existed like the domke wrap and sunset projection light. Thank you.
Definitely loved this video. As someone who is a very tight budget these items will help out a lot!
This is a gold mine. Most videos like this would have about 5 items and 5 minutes of paid sponsor time. I'm adding several of these to my wishlist. Would love to see more. I also like that you show examples of real-world use of each item
Great video!! I didn't realize there were so many useful things for so cheap
Excellent! Lots of good info that would have otherwise taken a lot of searching to discover. Love the potpourri of solutions. Thanks!
This has to be the best and most helpful video I’ve ever watched
Okay, I'll be getting most of these! Love these videos, please keep them coming. :)
Loved the video. I got sold on a bunch of items. You should do more like these.
Great video! Yes, please do more of these!
Super helpful! Always saves me so much time and I learn tons from you! Thank you!! Hope the finger is ok too!
I need to try that little projector lamp, quite interesting really
So helpful! Thank you!
Very helpful! There always something useful that I can use for my set up.
I FUCKING LOVED THIS VIDEO! It's so ironic that every I have a question about something or am looking for a product but have no clue where to look, you ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have a video with EXACTLY what I need in it.... THANK YOU!
Yeah this video was great. I think we all appreciate your creativity with these tools on a budget. This was super inspiring
Great video. Thanks.
I saved it for reference.
Favorite tip (for now) was using velcro to stick a battery charger on a portable charger. Loved that.
Love this type of video. Extremely helpful, especially now that I’m broke after buying a new “used” camera and lens.
I love how he teaches by selling you products. It is actually so helpfull.
More important than affordability is the fact that you'd probably never discover these useful things otherwise.
Excellent Review. Having just purchased one, the review is comprehensive, succinct and accurate.
Love your budget videos! Great content!
Only two items in and this list is amazing! lol Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely have to grab something(s) with your links.
Very helpful video, Caleb. Thank you!
Lots of interesting items! Thanks for sharing!
I love this! Such good information and I've already purchased 3 items from this list. I hope you do more videos like this in the future!!!
Great video, love the mic stand hack using as a light stand!
