Naruto (Japanese: ナルト) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto: Shippuden, a sequel to the original series, premiered in Japan in 2007, and ended in 2017, after 500 episodes. The English adaptation was broadcast on Disney XD from 2009 to 2011, airing the first 98 episodes, and then switched over to Adult Swim's Toonami programming block in January 2014, starting over from the first episode. The English adaptation is still airing weekly on Adult Swim to this day. Besides the anime series, Pierrot has developed eleven movies and twelve original video animations (OVAs). Other Naruto-related merchandise includes light novels, video games, and trading cards developed by several companies.
Viz Media licensed the manga and anime for North American production and serialized Naruto in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The anime series began airing in the United States and Canada in 2005, and in the United Kingdom and Australia in 2006 and 2007, respectively. The films and most OVAs from the series were also released by Viz, with the first film premiering in movie theaters. Viz Media began streaming the two anime series on their streaming service Neon Alley in December 2012. The story of Naruto continues with Naruto's son, Boruto Uzumaki, in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Boruto wishes to create his own ninja way instead of following his father's.

@@dipen7224 well… you should see Boruto now. The power levels have gotten absolutely ridiculous. I remember back in the day when I was reading Hashirama vs Madara in the manga. These guys were the pinnacle/ gods of shinobi and I always felt like they couldn’t be topped.
Then the 4th ninja war happened and shortly after Boruto and it just makes you want to overlook Hashirama and Madara’s prowess even more.
Fun fact: Hashirama and Madara's friendship was so strong, when they broke it off it woke Madara's sharingan.

I respect Hashirama a lot. Sharingan is so over powered so many variations, tricks etc but Hashirama equally matched and almost won every fight if he'd fought with intent to kill. That's the difference between Hashirama and Madara.
Tobirama is also the cause of 4th Shinobi War as the creator of Edo Tensei. Without it like hell Akatsuki could stood up to 5 Great Nations Aliance. Also it was Tobirama that demanded to put Uchihas under observation, meaning he was also the cause of Uchiha massacre.

There isn't one kind of sage mode. There are multiple and hashirama had mastered one kind of it. There is frog sage, snake sage, etc...

Becuz of sage mode. His sage mode is unique to jiraiya and narutos. Sage mode is natural energy, and it is a directly linked to his wood style, Becuz wood is apart of nature. And hashirama always had extra reserves of natural energy. Sage mode is part of the wood style. I don’t think hashirama was trained by the frogs, and he never been to mount myoboku. His 1000 arm attack is the same as ashuras attack final attack against Indra. And ashura didn’t know the wood style.

So idk which side has which power but Madara’s mangekyo sharingan powers are to be able to turn back time by a short period of time like maybe 5 seconds and he can create clones to be able to use susanoo.
No, the first ability is Izanagi, every uciha has that but it turns one eye blind, and the second is wood clonea because of hashirama's DNA aparrently , the wood clonea can use susanoo because it is better than the shadow clonea or other clones

Hashirama is incredibly broken. Madara has the broken eyes (aka sharingan) and he also unlocked the second strongest mode of the broken eyes. And hashirama unlike naruto who had a tailed beast and strong teachers, hashirama doesn't seem nearly as special as naruto, sasuke, and madara. I mean he has wood style but I can't really see how it is good in anyway, unless I missed something. Technically You can do what he does and more with any other element if one is proficient enough.
The Mokuton (Wood) style is by far the strongest combination. It holds Bijus, creates spores that paralyzes everyone, it has the ability to create wooden monsters that were capable of absorbing chakra and dismantle the Kyubi from the Susanno Armor.
It also has the sage mode with the almost infinite reserves of chakra and healing abilities compared to Tsunade’s Byakogu.
Hashirama it’s just too incredible over powered, the MVP before Naruto.
