I have so many 10th scale monster trucks but this one deserves to be added. Definitely in top 3. I have to support HPI. One of my favorite all time brands. So glad someone took them under their wing and continue development. I think they knocked this one out of the park. No pun intended 😊

@@cwatson42785 I think I have that one still in box. I need to get it out. If it is the one that had an actual center diff upgrade ( I ordered it same time as truck). I think they are gone now not to long after I got it on killer deal.
@@cwatson42785 I believe I have that one. Still in box but I do not see it on their site now. I plan on running some trucks that I have not taken out. Bought a few cars on sale and still setting around.
I suspect the suspension is for 3s and sending it cause that is what's popular on CZcams. But good looking truck and reliability is most important. Suspension is a easy fix for better ground control.

this is £250 brushless in the UK. Rlaarlo Omni Terminator is £220 and has lots of carbon parts and a very interesting design...
I believe the Omni Terminator is 1/13 scale, so it's a fair bit smaller. I'll be getting one soon enough and will see how well it holds up.
You forget also that Rlaarlo is selling direct to consumer. You do not have someone distributing their products and a shop which provides help and service if needed.
Flux 475mm, Omni 410mm so perhaps more like 1/12@@AussieRCPlayground
Well, I read somewhere that it was 1/13 scale, so I was going by that. Either way, it's smaller. 🤷♂️
Great review Vas. I wonder if the spring rates would be more appropriate for a high capacity 3s?
Would lighter weight shock oil improve the bounce, i have found on the previous Quantum & Quantum + versions HPI used to heavy oil in the shocks. Putting lighter oil in those other models really improved the suspension, does this new Q2 version bounce much on a bench drop test ? Great informative video Vas, look forward to the 3s run.
So how was the steering responsiveness with those bendy tie rods?
I think this brand is keeping HPI in the black. Very interesting whats going on with tbe sister brand HB racing
HB Racing is nothing to do with HPI Racing. It's not been part of HPI Racing since 2016
@@AsraiForns do they enjoy the same color scheme on the part bags even in 2024. I'm sorry but I'm sure they maybe separate companies but the same bank owns them
HB Racing was bought by Neidhart, who are in Switzerland.
HPI Racing is owned by Vestergaard who are in Denmark.
Before 2016 they were the same company.
After 2016 the brands were sold to different companies.

No me gusta nada este quantun 2.... La durabilidad y el que no rompa es por la barra que era la mejora que necesitaba y los brazos de metafil...yo tengo el MT y el xt quantun 1 y hn salido más de 15 veces cada uno sin romper...son más coche que este...se curraron más la carrocería y bel mando que en este!! Quantun flux 1 toda la vida!!!
