  • I acquired this from a buddy I actually got this at no cost when I made the video the agreement was $100 but he refused to take any money he had a stroke a few years ago and no longer has a need for it but he still loves fireworks so I will be lighting things up for him that is all he really wants I still need to find bunker storage for salutes that this will work great for 1.3 G display fireworks

    I’m in Kentucky and I’m looking to get an ATF license. I’ve seen a couple videos of people getting job boxes which are basically tool boxes to store and pass the inspection. I was wondering if I could use the job box and put it into my garage.

    • @bobbbyyyy888
      @bobbbyyyy888 Před 3 lety +1

      Also is there any way I could ask an ATF agent if this would pass before they come out and interview and inspect it?

      Unfortunately, if it is in a building it cannot be a living quarters of any kind. Garages that are attached to homes count as living quarters. And really, you don't want it that close to home. Usually if you do a "job box" set up it goes in a shed some distance from your home. I believe they don't have the same 150 foot distance requirement the standalone magazines have. But yeah ... if its an attached garage they will say no.

      @@traviskramer9997 ok thank you for responding. I do have a separate garage so I’ll do a little more research before hand.

    Very nice. What's it cost to get your license. If you need to fill it. I make fireworks for a hobby. Can't shoot them but would like to do something with them. I know you can sell or give them away. I have no interest in selling any thing.

    • @PyroNut
      @PyroNut  Před 7 lety

      Daniel Yost well Daniel as long as you are at least 18 years old and do not have a criminal record it's $100 for the license you submit it to the ATF you have to pass a background check have a face-to-face meeting with an ATF agent you need to have a magazine or a letter of contingency storage if you satisfy their requirements you get your license it's approximately a 90-day process as far as selling fireworks that you make you cannot sell anything that you make unless you have a manufacturer's license which you cannot get they are virtually impossible to obtain now you can make things for yourself as a hobbyist oh yeah one more thing you need to obtain the orange book it is an ATF publication that you need to have there is information in there that you need to know they have an online version in PDF form

  • @TzUuup
    @TzUuup Před 7 lety

    Whatre the requirements for the magazine? i see most pyros have them out in the middle of an open field. does it have to be at a certain distance from houses

    • @PyroNut
      @PyroNut  Před 7 lety

      TzUp there are minimum setbacks for magazines you can find all that information out in the ATF publication called the Orange book I believe you can get it from Amazon and there's also a downloadable PDF version on the ATF website it is a necessity to have the orange book if you want to get your type 54 because you have to study it it's also a very good idea to have it with you during your interview with a field agent

    • @TzUuup
      @TzUuup Před 7 lety

      PyroNut right on thnx pyronut. ive been slacking. having never met anyone in person with there 54

    • @PyroNut
      @PyroNut  Před 7 lety

      TzUp it's really no big deal as long as you can pass the background check and have storage or a letter of contingency storage from a 1.3 G supplier near you it is a 90-day process you should go for it

    • @TzUuup
      @TzUuup Před 7 lety

      PyroNut really that easy? imma give it a go for it. thnx brotha
