Love the surfing footage. 😊 I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in America. We surfed but nothing like this we would go to some barrier islands in a boat. No one went out there so cool

I think the catch is better post Covid but but the prices haven’t bounced back yet
prices are up and down, have peaked at 101 perkg but just size dependent,

Gday mate good to see you back at it this the argument i have with people who complain about the price of crays at xmas i tell them the fisherman gets f*** all for the hard work and danger that is involved in harvesting the seas . the biggest theif in the room is the government anyway one for lockie if you are having trouble with that yamaha engine jump onto yamaha outboards australia forum lot of yam /marine mechs follow it also if you are havng trouble sourcing parts try mega zip i am doing up a 92 40hp just as a project and have used them for a lot of parts freight is the killer but they are all genuine yamaha parts take care guys .
i would say biggest thief in the room would be the quota investor, often greed takes over and most investors wouldn't have a clue about the struggles current fisherman are going through.

I follow a guy in scotland he catches lobster as well and he is always on about the raw deal the fisherman are getting many of his colegues have packed it in saying the red tape and rules are to constrictive he believes they want the smal fisherman out and multi national companies in a lot of these men are third and fourth generation fishermen they dont know anything else .

watching you put a lot of undersized back, how long before you go back to that area to guarantee the right size, like crab will they move or stay in the same area.
