It’s so cute in the charcoal color! I do agree that it would’ve been so much better if it had the red edging. I don’t like it when they aren’t like the pictures that have. I asked about the pictures once and was told that the pictures weren’t updated. I have it in the natural and it’s so cute! Thank you so much for sharing!

Hi Ivana! That little bag is a cutie but if you don’t love it….next! I own this style in the Florentine in: 15” in pale blue, the 13” in salmon, and the mini in natural. I reach for the mini the most as it carries cute as a crossbody on me @ 5’8. The wild plum trees, dogwoods, and redbuds are blooming here in Oklahoma. Spring has sprung! Just needs to warm up - woke up to 28 degrees this morning but it did get to 50 today- hallelujah! Thanks for sharing!❤

I just received my 1st Micro Satchel in Bordeaux and Absolutely love it. It's Pebbled all over and ok with that but I can't deal with the uneven texture. I knew the nano would be too small for me. But the micro is perfect. I also have the medium and a large Satchel in Florentine.

Oooh, it's so adorable! I actually prefer this color and glazing better than the stock picture (but I do understand being annoyed at the misrepresention). I wish the zipper tape were dark, also.😄 Micro looks and sounds like it would be the perfect size. Been wanting one.

I grabbed one of the Nanos in Bordeaux during the last sale, and I love it! You're right, though, ILDs stock photos show reddish edging on the trim of the Charcoal. That one is still very pretty, but I can see how you'd be disappointed.

THIS COLOR LOOKS MORE OF ELEPHANT , MY BARLOW CAME THAT COLOR I RETURNED WAS MUDDY GOOD DESCRIPTION.

I got mine in Bordeaux last week and I’m sending it back today - the texture of the bag is not even and the white stitching came out of at the handle….

The color is giving me the gray I wanted. I’ve had the light taupe before and wasn’t crazy about the color. This gray tone is much better. I’m feeling like he’s a win with me 🥰. I’m loving the nano size. He’s perfect for when I’m going out and don’t feel like carrying a lot of stuff. I love it!

I was curious about that color...now I know to pass unless I see it at a ridiculous price. I think you would like the Micro or Mini in the color Slate, which is what the picture looks like. It is more grey with the red/burgundy edge coating and the Micro is big enough to carry full sized wallet, cosmetic bag, kiss lock, phone and more. The Mini's are a good size also and not too heavy. My Caldwell Stone Zip Zip satchel came yesterday too that I told you about. Returning it. Doesn’t even look like a real material … my first reaction was that it reminded me of a cartoon drawing. Sending it back 😂 oh well 🙈

I agree, the nano is too small, especially the opening. I have a micro in Bordeaux that while I love how it looks, it gets a little too small. I like to have a little extra room in my bag. I have two mini bags, one black and the other in Bordeaux. I find this is the best size for me. I love both colors but there’s something to be said about black Florentine. It looks really good in black.

Hi Ivana! This bag is so cute! But yeah, squished and scratched, and bent tassels...Let Dooney know so they don't charge you a return fee. That's on them for shipping it to you in such poor condition, and misrepresenting it in the photos. In the video, the Dooney leather square logo looked like it was sewn on a bit crooked too. Sigh Dooney. That being said, this is one of my favorite silhouettes from Dooney, and on my wish list. I like the nano and small sizes; didn't realize there is a micro size. I hope Dooney starts making this silhouette in coated cotton with animal prints and floral patterns. I would love that! TFS! Much love!
Hi 🥰🤗 I used reading that it was not as pictured online but there was still a return fee. This is such a classic silhouette. They totally should start making it in fun patterns in coated cotton. That smooshed corner is a no-go. And i can see what you mean about the edge-kote being the wrong color and you're right it does look like elephant. I just received mine in bordeaux and love it! It was packaged super well and looked untouched but somehow it did have quite a few scratches. That gave me pause but i decided to use a little Cadillac leather cream on it with my finger and it really improved it. I don't know why it had the scratches since it was wrapped well. But i love it now and love the size. It's so cute and and i have definitely scaled down what i carry so it works. I used to have a small in black. It was beautiful but too heavy for me. I couldn't wear it anymore because it hurt my shoulder. The nano is just perfect for me.

I believe they are editing the pictures for each color. I noticed the texture of the bag in every color is the exact same, even the scratches are exact. That explains why the charcoal shows the plum edging. They didn't bother to edit that out to make a true representation of the bag. 🤦♀️

Not a good colour. I bought a pre owned Chestnut Nano. I thought it was way too small, but after using it twice I fell in love. I am waiting to receive one in Navy. I am selling my Mini because it seems huge. I have a Natural Micro I will use once in a while, but the Nanos will be used most days. I fit two sets of keys in a slip pocket, hair bands in the zip, I have a slim organizer that holds credit card holder, pill holder, lipsticks, and my phone on one side and glasses on the other. Nothing is piled on each other. Once I organised everything, all my other bags see huge.

Such a shame that their photos misrepresent the actual bag. I have a micro in teal coming, hopefully. I placed my order through ILD on Friday and it still hasn’t shipped. Mine is also supposed to have the red accents, hmmmm. I’m so sorry you were disappointed. What makes me mad is these manufacturers could avoid so much wasted energy on the back and forth it takes to both receive a bag and then return a bag! Just fix your photos people!

I so agree with you. I purchased a vintage DB bag. It was listed as Dark Grey/Black. When I received the bag and asked my husband what color does it look like he said Charcoal. That bag Ivana has looks in the brown family. Like she said, Elephant.
Wow this is nothing like the picture on Dooney & Bourke website is it. It almost looks like an older model that was returned and not packaged well at that. It does not have the Dooney stuffing either. Something is really wrong.

Bags don't come with a jean size. You don't need a big bag if you don't carry alot. If you have to carry everything with you, carry a big bag. That whole body size to bag as a myth. Carry what you need and what you like..

I think the color matches your eyes 🩶 except its missing the red side lines not as pictured the 'Nano' is short for migit in spanish and other languages, which is the smallest of the small ever made and I really want one, had the micro and sold it on Poshmart because the zipper was too small compared the size of the purse. I recently purchased the Pebble Grain Satchel in the color 'Brown Tmoro' in H 8" x W 5.75" x L 13" waiting on it to ship to me.
Be careful search CZcams to check others who bought the same name and color of the purse you want which is what I do. I have a few things to return my self things happen when to comes to these misleading websites and it can become a challange. Have a Happy New Year 🎉
