That's Sheetmetal Stamped Part. Sheetmetal is just a definition (0.15-6)mm. Stamped part can be modeled via different method. It's one of the method. We can incorporate this as forming tool too. Actually I am working on it (a similar but more complex part). I hope you would get your answer.
