Rambo vs The Giraffe... Who Wins?!?
That ridiculously cute kid wins she is fearless 🤣
Giraffe necks are too long, can't reach him. He is the Lawn.
The Giraffe.......head and shoulders over Rambo.
It's pretty close. Rambo is tough as anything, but the pug-necked giraffes are famous for their viciousness.
Giraffe, by a neck.
from what my cousin and friends told me, this was one of the most accurate representations for what would happen to a human body when hit with a .50 cal.
Didn't a soldier go up to stallone or the director and say that exact same thing when this movie came out?
A 9mm bullet 124grain-147grain goes average 1300-1600fps, the .50bmg bullet 600-700grain going 2700-3000fps. Things tend to pop like water balloons when projectiles hit at 2700-3000fps.
@@Agrothewarhorse Besides which, the bullets in the .50 Browning are deliberately mis-weighted so that they spin. Essentially they tear through targets rather than penetrating. Like getting shot with a buzz-saw.
@@Agrothewarhorse 🤓

Fun fact:
The main villain, the general, is a real life freedom fighter from Burma. He did this movie with Sly to show the world what was happening even though he knew it put his family at risk. He's why Sly made the movie
Wow! Never knew.
Man, that shows dedication right there. I hope he and his family are well.
@@DarkPaladin24 You and me both. I've never heard a follow up to the story
All the Burmese, both good guys and bad guys, are played by Karen tribespeople.
Ah shit you beat me to it bro. Tip of the hat.
5:30 The fact that you guys paused your reaction to the movie to take the moment to address and appreciate your daughter's artwork shows what great parents you are. You guys are awesome.
Next time their daughter will show them a picture and they will ask what it is and she will say it's Rambo ripping a guys throat out....lol.
Well id be slightly concerned if they shouted at her to get out :D
The giraffe was a work of art.
Addressing your child's artwork isn't that too out there of an idea
Stallone was 61 when he filmed this movie and was in better shape than the entire rest of the cast and moved around and did stunts that the whole cast was shocked to see him do at his age. hey were ALL impressed.
The same when he reprised his role in Rocky 6. He took actual boxing punches to the face at 60. Just true dedication
He also was juiced to the gills and got caught with a bag of HGH at the airport.
Slay was train by Ronnie Coleman for that movie
@@JoeBuck207 that’s normal, you think every actor got their muscles through naturally?
@@JoeBuck207 you use "caught" like it's some sort of crime. he's 60. let him enjoy his strength if he wants to.
"I don't know, I've never been to one of those." Had me crying!! 🤣
War movies sometimes gloss over the true horrors of combat. You might get a soldier dying in the arms of a comrade or someone stepping on a land mine (though they avoid a too gruesome depiction), but Rambo 4 doesn't flinch at all - war is violent and terrifying, everything happens so fast you don't have much time to think. Adrenalin takes over. It's hard to watch in a movie, but Stallone wanted the world to know that war happens all over the globe, right now, somewhere... People are suffering at the hands of others. And when Rambo says 'you won't change anything', my god does it punch hard. There will always be war, and genocide. Peace is very precious. This is why we all need to be a little kinder to each other, because at least we have that opportunity.
Loved your reaction to the Rambo movies, Mr and Mrs. As always, thank you!
Your eyes when Rambo was using the 50Cal had me rolling!! Haha I love this movie
You know those .50 Cal Machine Guns have hollow tips that can tear through the skin
The .50 cal is a massively devastating weapon with huge recoil. Heck my grandpa carried a BAR browning automatic rifle as his weapon of choice in world war 2 and he was only 5 feet 6 175 pounds. It was plenty powerful for him and that’s just a 30.06 caliber
My Brother and I went to see this at a matinee when it came out and a group of about 20 elderly people came in and sat in the row in front of us. It must have been a nursing home excursion. Through this whole film, every time something truly gory or violent happened I looked at this old lady diagonal to me because she was so into it and softly saying, "WOW!" She must have been about 80.
I love this movie. This is probably the best in the series for me. That 50 cal scene is epic!
For me Rambo: First Blood, the first in the series was the best of the lot, but its all subjective.
This movie probably has one of the greatest lines I've ever heard and when he said it it inspired a lot of the Burmese people to try and change and it's simple it's really simple
*"Live for nothing or die for something your call."*
That line is so simple and yet so profound what are you living for? Why are you doing what you do? It isn't worth doing?
Till this day the war is happening and the burmese rebel use that line as their motto after the movie came out.
I love when your "special guests" sneak in the videos. 😀 They're adorable, and, to be fair, she drew a better giraffe than I could have. 😂
aside from first blood, this is actually my fav rambo movie.
had a hard time connecting with the other 2, but this one has it all.
set up, drama, and action like we haven't seen in a long while.
especially the turret section.
shesh indeed. like, they really don't do them anymore like this, and this is sad.
Well said !!
Rambo was popular with the real-life rebels. "Live for nothing or die for something" became a slogan for them.
You are a lucky man to have a wife who enjoys these types of movies. Seeing her visibly into the movie and scenes. My wife just stares blank face at these movies when I get her to watch them and at scenes I expect excitement or reaction I turn and slightly and quietly sigh and dip my head when it gets no reaction.
Your wife sounds like a dud. Leave her
Some people just can't think deep enough to understand. Lol.
This is my favorite Rambo movie! Followed by last blood. Love seeing you all watch this series of movies
Your Daughter is adorable. Tell her I liked her giraffe.
At that age, I would have been eating the crayons rather than drawing with them.
I thiink it's really sweet of you guys to share those technical difficulties with us. ❤
This Rambo was definitely the most accurate depiction of real life war and all the grit and gore that comes with it , it’s just a brutal action movie and i loved it 😊🙏🏽
I agree more realistic to real war than any of the Rambo movies except the first one of course
@@BullseyeForever24 time to rewatch it all
@@Dr.HooWho In how you mean ? Hav you ever experienced combat befor sir?
This movie is too damn truthful! The scene where he has to avoid being seen in the village & the soldiers are making the girls dance, but he just has to keep going & avoid saving them and their screams still is one of the worst scenes I've seen in a movie. This is more frightening than a Freddy or Jason slasher movie.
"daddy look at this." Precious.
"I've not seen MacGruber..." and so my watch begins... ;)
You know...one of the segments I most appreciate about your videos is when you adorable daughter wanders into the room and you pause for a few seconds to acknowledge her. Glad that you don't edit that.
First Blood is my favorite, but Rambo 1982 and 2008 tie for my second favorite. The throat rip was my favorite kill. It's so raw and intense.
Stallone was 62 when he film this movie, he did his own stunts in this movie (and in the Expendables movies)
I love it when their daughter sneaks in during horror movies, and is not noticed until like 2 or 3 minutes later. Makes me laugh every time, and it's happened at least twice now.
As awesome as Rambo’s throat rip out.
It wasn’t the first. The first throat rip I remember was in the movie; “ROADHOUSE” with Patrick Swayze made in 1989.
According to First Blood author David Morrell, this was the film that most closely depicted Rambo as he was in the novel.
FYI the bomb that Rambo turned into a trap is called a Grand Slam, the second biggest bomb of WW2( excluding Nukes) and able to produce earthquake shockwave power for which it was designed for, penetrate hard surfaces and explode beneath the target causing the devastation you see in this movie. The 50 cal scene is the most accurate depiction of heavy machine gun fire on the human body.
If someone already hasn't mentioned it already, all of the Burmese characters including the rebels pirates and soldiers are Karin they had a lot of fun making this movie and Stallone couldn't stop laughing and having fun along with them.
The actor that played the burmese leader in movie was wanted by the burmese intelligence for staring in this, also was a resistence fighter when younger
This was a great movie. And the first time i saw the damage a .50cal inflicts to soft targets accurately in one. Most movies just have people fall down when shot. That gun fires anti-material rounds meant to disable/destroy vehicles.
True. If it can penetrate trough a fortified vehicle it most certainly will DESTROY soft tissue muscle and bone no problem.
Those .50 Caliber Machine Guns don't play around, those things are hollow tips that can sting
@@jamesbartee6184 They have .50 cal sniper rifles that can hit targets over a mile away.
I wanna shoot one so badly
Stop lol, thats a beautiful giraffe. Its always funny when your kid pops in 😂
After wading through this bloodbath, we could all use a giraffe.
I love that they show what a .50 cal turret actually does to a person. I don't think people realize what a mess the thing leaves. The same goes for the .50 cal sniper rifle. Big bullets, big mess. People often say the movie is offensive because it's gory. Uh....real life is gory.
Dear Lord! The absolute carnage in this movie is just on a whole other level from any of the other Rambo films! The first one is still the best one, but omg, this one is definitely the best sequel!!
See, that ending is precisely why I don't like that they made "last Blood."
Rambo finally went the fuck home. That's the end of the story. The End. But that's just me.
It's a giraffe as seen by a bird in flight, directly above it, so it looks potato-shaped. The artist is operating on a level you guys wouldn't understand.
Rambo:First Blood was the first and best movie in the series for me, but all of them were great movies. Stallone is very much underrated as an actor snd screen writer. He’s responsible for some of the most iconic movies of all time.
5:42 This is the giraffe we deserve
It's wild that Stallone directed this only two years after directing Rocky Balboa. He's an underrated writer/director.
Been a Stallone and Rambo fan ever since I was a kid in the 80s. I watched this movie in theaters, opening weekend. I was suffering through some mental health issues at the time and just the adrenaline rush from this movie, especially the final action scene, helped me A LOT! lmao it sounds like a joke: Rambo Cured My Depression! But it KINDA did 🤣
Ripping out people's throats, disemboweling, cutting people's heads off ...always cheers one up 🍻
This was one of the bloodiest movies ever and I am here for it! Loved it so much. Can't believe this was old man Rambo.
I think the series should've ended with this movie with the walk home at the end showing that his war is over.
My wife was in Burma when the coup happened in February 2021. They had relative peace in the years 2015 to 2021. But the military is back at killing. Fortunately I was able to teavel to Thailand and facilitate her escape. It's horrific there again. The UN and international community have turned their backs on the people of Burma. There actually is a group who have been helping the internally displaced...look up the Free Burma Rangers. They're an amazing group of selfless volunteers.
Most favorite Rambo of them all. Perfect 1st movie dealing with PTSD, First Blood was, then this one was perfect carnage.
11:22 lmfao the awkward silence after answering her question.
06:00 Haha ok the best part of the whole reaction... So adorable
THAT ADORABLE BABY IS QUICKLY BECOMING THE STAR OF THE CHANNEL!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Guys PLEASE never stop the "technical" interruptions, they really are the best technical snags anyone would willingly run into.
Good lord that bit with your kid was so adorable
On one of those expert react videos, they had a former sniper rate this movie for realism and he said the fifty cal. Really does what they show in this movie!
Another thing whenever she comes in is by far my favorite part of any video you guys post
Julie Benz also plays Darla on both Buffy and Angel tv series. The people going up river are supposed to be Christian missionaries.
“It’s just tearing through everything.” That’s exactly what the Ma Deuce is supposed to do.
Okay, best part of this movie was the giraffe. So cute!! Glad you guys have fun like that and have kids.
Hah! That’s a great giraffe! Kids that age are hilarious. Enjoy it before they grow up.
5:08 "That's a big-ass snake."
Stallone: "A little inappropriate, but thank you."
Rambo ripped that guy’s throat Roadhouse style 🔥🔥🔥
He used to fuck guys like him in Nam.
The "sniper rifle" in this film is a Barrett M107 anti-material rifle. It's mostly used in situations like, say if you have to stop a truck that's barrelling towards a checkpoint, and less for actual sniper teams. It weighs 35 pounds, so it's not exactly something you want to bring along if you need to be able to move on foot.
I love this one. It's my favorite of the Rambo movies, but all are awesome. The throat rip was incredibly cool, and the heart scene in Last Blood was awesome. I love how Sly always adds a personal, moral touch to all of his works, it's not just violence.
3:45 -
- Vipers have a V pattern on their head.
- Cobras puff up their "cheeks" when threatened.
- Most snakes with diamond shapes on their back are deadly.
- Deadly snakes usually use warning signs: noise (rattle snakes), change appearance (cobra) and stance.
- Most bites are warning shots. Using venom means being defenseless for several hours, so they usually avoid wasting it.
Most
The American Soldier who has the most confirmed kills is Audie Murphy. The baby faced cowboy actor.Nearly 300, and he joined up underage.
And part of Rambos character was based on Audie Murphy, having won the CMOH and having bouts of PTSD
Love the daughter moment... ❤ Makes me miss mine all the more. I'm so glad you both have been blessed to have her...
Daughter is adorable! Makes me wish my kids where that young again so I can write down everything like that so I could remember. Cherish it. :)
The actor who played the main bad guy, is a real life Burmese refugee. He was consulted often about what was really going on in the country. I believe it was him who told Stallone about the "game" where they make families run through a mine field.
Favorite Rambo kill, Hiding in the wall of mud from 1st Blood part 2!
It’s adorable the way your daughter randomly bursts in to show you stuff
3:33 I always liked how Brian Tyler expanded upon the original score in a way that (speaking for myself at least) added value rather than detracting.
When they stared watching the Rambo series, it was all leading up to the finale of THIS movie haha. That’s right, I’m talking about the .50 cal shootout.
I'll bet it'll have her in pieces....
By the way Rambo's military position when he was in the service was a 50 caliber machine gunner...
the shootings that blew apart PARTS, they were really well done and mostly realistic
i remember when this movie released, people from Myanmar felt like somehow they saw the light in the end of the tunnel.... so many emotions, i remember when Rambo killed those Burmese soldiers...everybody in the movie theater..cheered and shouted for Rambo... i remembered some of them were crying with mixed reaction... like they were looking for a hero to save their country....so many memories ... back in 2008 this movie was very very illegal to watch. Now U can get arrested and sent to prision if you watch this movie. Again, the burmese people are still fighting the dictatorship after the coup 2021 on February, now even it more intense than the last 70 years civil war. Now every states of the country (people defence force) are fighting. Everyday is fighting now.
I love when the babies interrupt. My daughter would do that all the time when she was little and I was gaming with friends late night. It's heart warming.
Coming back to this movie it really portrays a fine line on the message that you can't help everybody.
We applaud and admire the work of institutions like doctors without borders, and yet, and I bet even they know, the "difference" they make means everything to the people they help.....only for the time they're there, wherever they are.
Sad cruel world we live in, if we're on the western side of it we should be nothing but grateful and humbled.
I don't think you guys quite grasp the concept of kill confirmation. First of all, a Green Beret wouldn't have any, unless he's a sniper specifically because they're really the only ones who care to keep track, and secondly they require a witness. Usually the spotter.
8:22 Sylvester Stallone actually hand-forged one of the knives he uses in the movie.
I was an 0331(Machine gunner) in the Marine Corps and that scene with the Ma Deuce was accurate except for two things. It didn't constantly jam every couple rounds and even a round as big as a .50 won't send someone flying.
Everything else was accurate though. From tearing limbs off to cutting someone in half to punching fist sized holes through vehicles to ripping right through crowds of men. Hell, I've seen it blow holes the size of a grape fruit straight through the engine block of a large truck.
Amazing what a .50 cal does to the human body. Just tears it apart.
This is the best Rambo.
Best kill in this movie: 50 cal at point blank range on the driver.
Best kill of all time: Tie between exploding arrow from part 2 & the heart stopper (last kill) from Last blood.
Good reaction guys. 👍
They should have left it there. We should have a new drinking game, every time their kids interrupt do a shot
"Somebody has to report him now"😆😄😆
I love when your technical difficulty stops by, she's so adorable.
When I saw this movie for the first time I stood up and cheered when Rambo destroys the two guys in the front of the jeep with the 50 cal. I’m not sure what that says about me.🤣
That edit with blood on the screen was hillarious 😅
Giraffe was 15/10.
As for the movie, this is where it should have ended with Rambo finally going back to home.
But no, Sly in all his genius decided to make Last Blood and good lord was it awful. The man never learned that you gotta stop when you're at the top.
Last Blood was great. Killing Mexican cartel members was amazing, especially the Mortal Kombat like kill at the end.
The type of gun that schoolboy uses is what is called a Barrett sniper rifle and it fires 50 caliber shells and the muzzle velocity is so powerful that the enemy won't feel the bullet pass through before they're dead so when you see the shots where the guy's head just blows up that's because the gun was fired really fast before the guy realized he was dead...
11:02
MRS: Maybe I'm not right.
MR: Processing a different meaning to that sentence.
They bring the blood and gore in this one and the newest movie. Keep up the great work, love the channel and content alot. 👍😊
Can confirm, conra is not a type of viper.
If you notice the jitteriness in the way that the movie shot that's because Rambo or Sylvester Stallone intended it to be like that... He wanted the audience to know what it feels like for a soldier to go through that
Fun movie. Great reaction. Excellent Giraffe art by one of the Mini Movies! 10/10
Act I: Bad things happening in Burma.
Act II: Rambo goes to Burma.
Act III: Rambo kills Burma.
This movie is simple. The villains are literally the most evil guys ever, the good guys are badasses, the civilians are rebels trying to fight the most evil guys ever.
Imo this. Is the Best Rambo movie. 14 years. Later... Its. Awesome... The gore is crude and great... Shows the horror of war... Which was Slys intent...
Did you just gaslight that child with a trick question about giraffe sounds?
Chad move.
Rambo ripping out the guys throat is the best out of the whole franchise
Launching the missile at the boat was overkill, everyone on there was already VERY dead.
Interesting bit of trivia, when the man turns up to ask John go search with the mercenaries, John wakes from a nightmare (you didn’t show the nightmare here) the nightmare uses some old footage from the first Movie’s original unused ending that is faithful to the book. In it, John dies and commits suicide when the Colonel is with him at the end and he grabs johns handgun. It was filmed but never used, so Stallone used it here.
My favorite kill was the dude who gets the bow and arrow to the head, falls, and gets blown up by his own mine trap.
I'm of the opinion that the cobra at the beginning was an homage to his role in the movie Cobra.
The guy in the helicopter in the first one is the most satisfying.
But this is definetly the best Rambo film. Watching Rambo get on that big gun and just tear this entire army apart is glorious. Disgusting and brutal but glorious.
The earthquake bomb, or seismic bomb, was a concept that was invented by the British aeronautical engineer Barnes Wallis early in World War II
