The creepiest phone call I have ever received was from a man claiming to be my dad. I was around 11 or 12 at the time, so only a few years ago, and I was on the school bus when my phone rang. I didn’t recognize the number so I ignored it. I was almost to my stop anyway. Soon I got a notification of a voicemail and opened it up to listen to it. The message was from a man sounding around 50 saying, “Hey, Mia (my name is Mia) it’s your dad. Give me a call back. Bye.” My Dad did not have that number and definitely did not sound that old, therefore, it was not him. I was in the custody of my mother that day, so I told her about it and texted my dad to make sure he was ok. My dad knew nothing about it. He did not recognize the number nor the voice. However, he was perfectly fine. How the man got my number and knew my name, I have yet to find out. I still get random calls from older sounding people, but they don’t seem to know my name. Maybe a wrong number. Maybe something else. I don’t know.

Well I made an ad on Craig's list (right, shouldn't expect anything less), for a dog I could no longer take care of... a week past... I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize.. thinking it was someone from Craig's list so I picked up...
It was an older man asking me if I babysit, which I do, but only for family, friends or people I knew.. I never made an ad for it.. anyways, I told him I didn't, because I didn't know him.. he told me I had a sweet voice, like a child care worker and I should look into child care.. I didn't say anything.. he then counties to talk, asking if I would watch a 13 year old girl, I told him no then hung up. He called back and said he wasnt done talking, and said he needed me to watch this 13 year old girl for him. I didn't say anything... he asked if I would allowed her to go to her boyfriends house, who was in his 40s.. I told him I didn't feel comfortable talking to him. He then asked if I would promised not to tell anyone about this phone call.. I didn't say anything to him.. I hung up and blocked his number..
A few days later I went on Craigs list and apparently I wasn t the only who got a phone call from him.. SO CREEPY!
The ad asked if anyone who received a phone call from him to report to thr cops and give them the number be called on.. which I did.. never will I ever use Craigslist again lol

No. 15 is been confirmed that he may been kidnapped or mysteriously disappeared. I live in MN and it creeps me that I live not far from where the city is. TBH, it's rare that these things happen, unless you live in rural areas. +Top15s I love your content!

I was home alone and I farted. Two seconds later I got a phone call from an unknown number and I couldn't recognize the voice (it sounded like an elder man which was strange because I don't know any elder men anymore since both my grandfather had died). But the person on the line said "don't fart, I'm here with you. It stinks" I got scared so I looked around the house with a knife and no one was home. I called my mother and she said in a croaky voice "oh, I believe that is just a prank call"
The next day I got the exact same call but I had recently eaten custard XD and the exact same man with the exact same voice said "that's my custard, I hate you you pig" I called everyone I knew and no one knew who it was.
Then my mum ate my chocolate and got the exact same phone call that I had gotten (yes with the exact same voice lol) saying "that's your daughters chocolate thief".
We later set up security cameras and caught a mysterious blob wandering through our house. I still get nightmares

Ive gotten a really strange call indeed. I was calling a church phone number, as we needed a priest to come and bless our house. After the call was done, we got a voicemail from the same number thinking maybe the Priest couldnt come or had given us a different date. Instead this weird static alarm sound played over and over again for 30 seconds straight. It was this Alarm that ive never heard before and it was really eeire... Now i go to the church instead of calling....

I got a strange phone call once a few years ago when I still had a landline. It was from a man who knew my first name and claimed he had met me recently outside near my house. He was vague and wouldn’t say exactly where we had “met.” I was confused and told him I thought he had the wrong number. He kept using my name over and over and kept insisting we met when I was out for a walk. I asked him for details, like what street, which he would never give. He just danced around the subject and kept insisting we had met and I gave him my number. He also kept trying to talk about other things, the details of which I can’t really remember. I became increasingly creeped out and ended the phone call. I can’t quite remember if I had to hang up on him or if I was able to get him to agree to end the phone call. I am pretty sure I had to just hang up. I immediately called the phone company and explained what happened and got my phone number changed.
I don’t really know what the end goal was. I know for a fact that I never met anyone while out for a walk because I did not go for walks and I was not in the habit of giving out my phone number to anyone, let alone strange men. I think he looked my number up and chose me at random. Phone books were not much in use anymore at the time, but listings were still available online and the phone account was in my name. I wonder if he was trying to get me to give details of where I lived or trying to get me to agree to meet up with him. Either way it was very creepy and I was quite unnerved by it. I don’t think it was anyone I knew playing a trick on me. I think it was purely random.

Okay! Freaky phone call story from me!
I kept getting these weird phonecalls one time from some guy who claimed his name was Jack Hardwell,
He seemed to know a lot about me, including what band i used to play in, where i worked, and even mentioned where my mom worked at that time.. Even personal stuff like what my nickname in high school was, specific stuff that i dont share on the internet!
I assumed it was a friend playing a prank, but everyone i asked had no clue what i was talking about.
This guy kept calling me to the point to where i couldent sleep, he would just non stop call, until finally, i went to my local police department and had them look up the number...weirdly enough, they looked up his name, and said that Jack Hardwell is deceased, yet that was his number, calling me, leaving me texts with freaky sexual messages on it..
They said they'd investigate the calls, and i've never heard anything from this person again..
I dont know who the fuck he was nor do i want to know, but the things that were said and texted to me still haunt me to this day

the weirdest thing i heard wasnt on a phone. now i have anxiety so when someone calls my name i respond immediatly also im my mothers caretaker so when she called my name i knew it could be important. One day i was up in my room with my door closed bc my mom went to sleep (her bedroom is on the main floor , mine is on the second but as long as i kept my door open i can hear her fine) i heard "Courtney...coutney..COURTNEYYYYY!" (which is my name) it sounded like my mom had called out but started screaming for me, but it was coming from RIGHT outside my bedroom door. it scared the hell out of me as i the only reason shed be so panic was if she had fallen outta bed, which made me in turn panic and throw open my door but the minute i did the screaming for me stopped and i yelled to my mom as im running down the stairs asking if she was ok, i get to her room and she looks like she just woke up and asked me why I WAS SCREAMING for her. i told her what i heard and she said " i dont know what ur talking about, i just woke up to you yelling if i was ok". i was so shaken bc i heard as clear as day a distressed voice calling my name and it had sounded like her. skip an hour later i had collected myself and went to bed but the minute i hit the pillow i heard "good night courtney" in a whisper outside my door.

My old apartment was haunted, the last tennant was killed by an intruder and i used to get random cuts and bruises on my legs and face, one time i woke up not being able to breath and heavily bleeding from my cheek, a huge cut was there. it left a mark for months and after that we got evicted, so we moved.

Iris Lunacy recently I’ve been hearing many things and I just assumed it’s my brother or something not... invisible 😂 but three days ago I was home alone for about 3 hours and I got thirsty so I was about to get up and go to the kitchen then I heard my mom say “I have your milk” from the kitchen! I kind of pooped myself because what the heck and when I went to the kitchen my fridge beeped and besides the random voices I keep seeing things at the corner of my eyes (ok literally as I typed that I saw something😬😂-laughing is my way of not getting too scared-) and after it beeped I swear I saw some black figure run to the front door and I was just shocked and heard real people (I hope lol) outside my door and they started knocking so I grabbed a knife and scissors because it sounded kind of aggressive( Murder happens so just being safe) and I locked myself in my room -even though I had to pee- till my mom came home and I only told her about the knocking because when previous things happened she’d assure me it’s my imagination but I highly doubt that because I’m pretty sure I can tell the difference from noises I imagine and noises coming from another room. The weirdest part is that one of my friends texted me saying “ idk why but last night I dreamt that u were trying to kill me with some kind of ghost thing” coincidence ?😶

I need to share my dads experience with a creepy call!
In 2011 my parents got divorced and my mum, my brother and myself moved out, and my dad lived alone in our big familyhouse. A few weeks later, being all alone in the house, my dad got bored so he decided to go and visit an old friend of his. Because my dad lived all alone he didn't have to tell any one where he went. My dad and his friend were drinking coffee and about 30 minutes later my dads friends phone started to ring. The phonecall came from our familyhomes phonenumber. My dad answered but no one was on the other line. My dad first thought was that something had happend to me or my brother so he drove home immediately (It's about 10 mintues drive). When he came home he noticed that no one was home....
Who made a phonecall to my dads friends phone? No one knew that my dad visited this particular friend... And now we are still living in this creepy old familyhouse.

I never got any scary calls like this thankfully but I did once get a really funny cal,l I was asleep it was around 3 am for me in the Netherlands when I got a call from an American dude who clearly was drunk he ask me where I was he and the guys were waiting at the bar and I was late, I was a bit annoyed I did have work in the morning after all but I tried to calmly explain he had the wrong number but he would listen he kept calling me Jake I sad I'm not Jake my name is Thomas, I gave up after awhile but he kept calling so I put my phone on silent, when I woke up the next morning I had 38 missed calls from him, he acutely call me a day later no longer drunk and wanting to apologize he ask me who I was and why I had such a weird number I sad I'm Thomas and my number is Dutch I sad I hope the bill won't be too big he hang up yelling FUCK THE BILL! It made my day.

I've gotten phantom calls a few times during my time in high school. It was my home number so I thought it was my mom; but when I answered nothing was on the other side. I talked to my mom about it yet she said that she never called me. The only explanation I can think of is my dad. He died in 2012 and maybe it was him calling to check up on me(?)
