I agree! Anthrax's lyric video for "Evil Twin" touched on gun violence just a little bit the video was based on terroisim and it showed and NRA logo and the CEO of the NRA and Anthrax was smart for doing that

That’s what I got from the two at least. Both great pieces to get an important message across to people who are oblivious to either one

Peter Major there’s many reasons why people do it. Out of anger, depression, reject, stupidity, mental illness, and so on. Sadly, these anti guns people refuse to see the truth of why people do it, only focusing on “assault rifles”
@@deafpunk2248 precisely. we are forgetting the problem and attacking the tools.
The thing is once you've gotten rid of society's problems the guns (outside of hobby use) become redundant. But while you've got a lot of those problems the guns exacerbate them. It's hard to defend easy and wide spread gun ownership outside of a post apocalyptic world where you're having to defend yourself.
@@hecticshade true, and i agree, to an extent. you can trace the lineage of firearms down to when cavemen started throwing rocks; thrown weapons (rocks, spears), to the bow and arrow, to the venerable musket. guns, as i understand it, are an inspiration of war. However, while in a perfect world we don't need guns, getting rid of society's problems is quite improbable. you say also that guns exacerbate these problems--true, to an extent. the recent Thousand Acres shooting and all past shootings were indeed made possible by the invention and development of firearms--something that we cannot change, seeing as we don't have time travel. However, the average Joe must be able to defend himself.
The fact is, we live in an imperfect world. there are people who will steal and kill for personal gain (and survival). I personally don't see any way we can make it a perfect world in the foreseeable future. I try to take the world as it is, and do my part to shape it into something better. just my two cents :)
As long as theres two people on Earth, people are going to try to kill each other. Its just our nature. People bring up successful gun bans but won’t say anything about acid attacks or knife violence, both of which are much easily procured than firearms.
I don’t know what the solution for gun control is, but conflict resolution training probably wouldn’t hurt.

Yes! my dad showed me to them when their first album came out and I got to see them live at 2015 Shindig in Baltimore. Lots of their songs got me through tough times, especially Gone and God went North after my aunt and my step-mom were diagnosed with cancer.

I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what the message is in this video, but if i am interpreting it correctly i wholeheartedly agree. We're fed a bunch of lies and empty promises from politicians on both sides who are more concerned with pushing a political agenda than helping the citizens that vote them in to serve our best interests. Mass shootings, gang on gang violence, and suicide are big problems in this country and instead of blaming guns, or a lack of religion, or video games, or any of the other talking points we need to look out for one another. Talk to the quiet kid in the back corner of the lunchroom, reassure the kid who gets bullied daily, ask the girl who's crying in the locker room if she wants to talk, when you hear someone making threats online, believe them and report them to authorities and/or mental health experts. We need to look out for each other, because the "servants of the people" never will. Stay safe everyone. ❤🇺🇸
That's an interesting take on it. My interpretation is that everyone has a device/medium that is interfering with their own perception. It's showing them that what they fear most is everywhere, and no one can be trusted.
@@dschiffer121 Two things can be true at once, even if they seem contradictory. I believe any person who values his or her safety should always be situationally aware and treat everyone you meet as a potential threat, but still be willing to help and care for others. People can be unpredictable and dangerous, but if you decide to live in isolation because you believe everything is out to get you you've already given up on humanity and that is a miserable state of mind to be in.

As i said before, religion (or a lack thereof) is one of those things everyone squabbles about constantly from all perspectives and uses as a scapegoat to avoid the real issues. I went to see them at the ffdp breaking Benjamin and bad Wolves concert. I specifically went to see Nothing more. The rockstep machine is so amazing! I've never seen people so impressed by an opening band most people haven't heard of. They're amazing and have so much heart, energy and soul.

The concept with each the shift between each perspective every time the "protagonist" dies and how each person seems to only see enemies, including the just killed person we had been following, I find to be rather incredible. Really highlights the intense divide between people nowadays, and how all people seem to see are enemies when in truth we should all be communicating and finding solutions rather than just picking more and more fights to feel in the right.

We have a mental health & spiritual health crisis. Everyday people get depressed, very angry, vengeful etc., but handle it differently. Maybe not even in a way that's healthy for them, but at least in a way that isn't so dangerous to other people.

Robert Ventura I live in Birmingham,AL. Drove to Atlanta just to see them for the first time. Breaking Benjamin was good, but Nothing More stole the show if u ask me. That’s my opinion, I don’t care much for FFDP though

Just seen these guys live in Penticton last night when they opened for Ghost, I never listened to them before but they put on one hell of a show, awesome band!
I love the VR at the end. They are one of the only musicians to make any sense in a while. Their music is informative unlike today's "pop" music which only speaks of false love and asses.
