A beautiful song , sang by a beautiful Man with a beautiful soul.....*****LONG LIVE THE KING**** Thank you ....
Elvis is amazing, his voice is out of this world❤❤
This beautiful song is included in the album "That's the way it is". Such a lovely song!❤❤
I love his rehearsals ,and the finished project at his live performances
Also from TTWII are How the Web was Woven and The beautiful Mari in the Morning.FABULOUS.❤
Mary.
Brilliant well done my son, keep it going 👍🏻
😎😎
MAGIC 👑👌
On the Elvis That’s The Way it Is Album ❤
My ex husband actually did that to me over another woman, wrote a note and dropped everything in my lap. I filed for divorce and got divorced. I had to start my life all over.
Then about year after my divorce, he wanted me back, I gave it a chance for so many months but realized he hadn’t changed so I kicked him to the curb.
But I survived ❤
Glad to hear you’re good! I thought afterwards about how I said this song game me Christmas type vibes in its tone and sound, but then obviously the lyrics give you something else completely 😉
Yes, this song is so beautiful! ELVIS voice is like magic! I love ELVIS! Thank you!
it really is a beatiful song, I am glad i can play it throughout the whole year, not only christmas time (cause it isn t a christmas song).
All songs from the Album that s the way it is are that great or even better, hope you react to all of them.
Hello Nick..
Not saying I’m correct, just an observation after being an Elvis fan for a bunch of years…
My own conclusion…
I see 2 sides to being on the
“Elvis Mystery Train”
As it was when Elvis was alive there were the few who were true friends, sincere & considerate - and the far too many who had no sincere interest or appreciation of who he was..interested in their own benefit by association.
To the contrary I see your reactions as sincere with appreciation and interest - really & truly enjoy your channel - thank you!
Thank you so much, that’s an overwhelmingly kind thing to say.
I’ve always had Elvis kind of in the background growing up as my dad was a big fan, but I’m really enjoying this rediscovery and appreciating the man and his music through my now adult eyes and ears.
gorgeous song
Elvis was a genius when it came to music and putting it all together in a finished product one and only Elvis none before or after can come close to him
Beautiful song, beautifully done by a beautiful man, backed up with a lovely band and backup singers.
Wow, this was amazing, the rehearsal scene and the live concert! I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen. Awesome Elvis. Fabulous back up singers. Very nice reaction too. Thank you. More Elvis please. ❤👍🎶🎙⚡
A wonderful video and review. Too bad I can only "like it" once! We get to see Elvis in rehearsal and the finished product. The gentleman standing next to Elvis, getting poked, and singing with him is Charlie Hodge, who Elvis met in the army and they became close friends. Charlie was a backup singer who Elvis described on stage as "the guy who gets me my water and scarves and is a general flunkie."
Keep the videos coming please!
Really enjoyed the rehearsal footage 🙏
Great reaction again. This is one from my Elvis Favs list. So pretty and soulful. And I love that it shows both the rehearsal and the performance.
It’s so good!
It is a beautiful song I'd forgotten how good it was thank you Nick loved your reaction 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 🙏
BRAVO MY MAN...
Great reaction again, I love Elvis Sunday. I really think you would enjoy Memories from the comeback special. I hope you can react to that
I will check it out! Thanks 🙏
Par excellence mate. I've heard this one since the late 70s but to see it like this thru another's eyes and with the rehearsal and final production was like hearing for the first time. Your down to earth reaction is appreciated. I think we all can relate to this song if we've lived long enough to experience all the ups and downs of love and life. This song resonates. Happy Sunday and have an awesome week Nick.
Thank you! I’m saying this a lot each week, but this has become a new favourite. Loving that rehearsal footage in particular.
Morning-afternoon. Elvis had the absolute best of the best - singer, musicians. For a very enjoyable rehearsal, see "Elvis Presley in the studio, 1970" czcams.com/video/GJo3O3QIBJk/video.html & a very nervous Elvis on opening night 1970 see "Elvis opening night at the International Hotel 1970" czcams.com/video/o5o4G-giO2k/video.html.
A little story here about the belief that Whitney Houston's mother was w-Elvis for years: the backup singer here (Myrna Smith) -- 2nd from left in the grey-ish sweater -- resembles Whitney Houston very much; also, Whitney saying that her mother was w-Elvis for yrs.(which isn't true) makes people believe her mother Cissy was w-Elvis for yrs. Cissy Houston was w-Elvis in 1969 only from July 31st-Aug. 28th. Interestingly, Myrna resembles Whitney more than her own mother did. Have a good week -- see you next Sunday.
Priceless to see all these great talented performers that I grew up watching. And E goofing around with Charlie Hodge is awesome.
Beautiful! Great performance! Love Elvis
That is one of my favorites by Elvis. I did not know you had not reacted to this song or I would have suggested it. Have you done How the web was woven? I think everything he did was great. Have you reacted to I'll never all in love again and I'm so Lonesome I could cry. This one absolutely incredible. He looked so good.
Web is in the requested playlist. I’ll double check on the others, thanks 🙏
He was the type of entertainer that could blow your mind I know he never seized to amaze me I guess that's why I've been in Elvis fan since 1968 and I still love him
A masterpiece, often overlooked.
Thank you for reacting as you did to another Elvis treasure.
Watching you being mesmerised speaks volumes! Seeing your sincere appreciation of the full performance, orchestrated by Elvis so beautifully, is lovely. After Gospel, Elvis loved singing ballads and telling a story in music. FYI. Elvis’s Christmas Albums are still the most played at Christmas. Christmas was a favourite time for Elvis !! Thanks for another great reaction 🙏👌💕🕺
Wow, thank you!🙏
Great reaction to an artist who had everything and yes after decades still mesmerises me. As for those who criticise about talking over the song, don't watch reactions then.
😂😂
One of the most underrated Elvis's songs ever!! I LOVE IT!!❤❤😅
Part of reason i watch you is your “talking over” so all good. Love this song.. hes so funny too ..he said this is obe of tge songs we dont know Lol
🙏🙏
Thanks for another great reaction video. No need to apologize for repeating yourself with Elvis comments; we all do it. Elvis was magic. Love the song.
Thank you 🙏 I think this has now become one of my favourites!
Such a great song . I love this one. ❤
This is live singing 😂😂😂 the king
I love this song to be honest I love all his songs and his movies
It's so easy to get lost in him and his songs .The rehearsals are a treasure
too. This was beautiful....I absolutely love this song..thank you so much for reacting to this .....gorgeous.
First of all, I truly enjoy your subtle "talking over" on these performances. Secondly, I love your appreciation of all of the factors that go into making these masterpieces. Elvis was a perfectionist, but also was very laid back in getting there, making it fun for his musicians, back-up singers, etc. He often would start over if he heard something he didn’t like, but normally wouldn't blame it on anyone. A wonderful reaction as usual. The progression of rehearsal to the stage is one of my favorite things to experience. ❤❤❤
Thank you Jenny! That’s very kind 🙏 I appreciate you coming back each week!
Amazing epic fabulous awesome jst perfect thanks for sharing ❤I👑👑👍👑👑👑❤👑👑👑👑👑👍👑👑
Thank you, Sweety for your reaction to This Beautiful song! ❤❤❤❤❤
😊
I can listen to Elvis sing and perform a song a zillion times and im amazed as if im just seeing and hearing it for the first time! Love your reactions to Elvis! Ty! Happy Sunday! 😊
This has always been one of my favorites. A very underrated and underplayed song. The words, his lovely voice and the beautiful arrangement, take you to another place. Thank you for your insightful reaction.
May I suggest "Just Pretend" and "Bridge over Troubled Water" both performed live in Las Vegas in 1970. Also "Kentucky Rain" (studio recording) with a beautiful montage that fits the story of the lyrics. I know you will enjoy these! Thanks❣
Thank you! I have the 1970 Just Pretend on here if you wanted to check my Elvis Playlist? Bridge Over Troubled Water, I think it’s the 72 version I’ve watched previously, so will dip back at some point for the earlier performance 🙏
Always loved this song from the first time I heard it in the movie TTWII,which I saw 12 times in 2 weeks at age 17.Also in this film I Just Can't Help Believing.I adore this song.❤
I knew to this channel and never seen you before but if you can play where No man stands alone with Elvis and Lisa Marie is a beautiful song❤
Thank you - and welcome! I’ll look for it and add it in to the playlist!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC REACTION MY FRIEND!! HE'S CLEARLY MESMERIZING
Great reaction Elvis has a way of mesmerizing all of us!
Great to see the whole process, which demonstrates what a consummate musician Elvis was. There are so many gems like this in his catalogue, so it's a shame that a lot of people only know him from stuff like Hound Dog. There is much more to discover (750+ songs) so keep on ploughing your way through your playlist. Some others to add: Tomorrow is a long time (beautiful cover of a Dylan classic), So Close Yet so Far, Like a Baby, Something Blue. I could go on but that'll do for now!
Thank you! 🙏
Happy Sunday, Nick! Isn’t this a beauty? So underrated, as are many Elvis songs - glad you got to hear and appreciate this!
Lovely song and beautifully performed - loved the way Elvis acknowledges Millie Kirkman holding that high note at the end - bless him - miss him so much😘
I always look forward to Elvis Sundays Nick & I love the way you select the songs. To me, you come across as very genuine & natural doing your reactions, so may I suggest that you carry on just as you are!👏
Loved your reaction to this song, & the warm tone in Elvis' voice, is just beautiful 💯
Wow, thank you! 🙏 Leading up to Christmas I’ll look at choosing some more of his festive songs, but am enjoying the surprise each week at the moment. This is now one my favourites! 👍
Yes, definitely a favourite of mine too Nick! Looking forward to you doing some "Christmas with Elvis".
Everytine i think, this is my new favourite, another banger comes along. Its nearly impossible to have just one favourite Elvis song.
But i can say, your Elvis sundays are really something special. Thank you very much!💚☀️
Thank ‘you’ very much! Always so kind! 🙏
I have 17 favorite Elvis songs so far, and the others are close behind.
Thank you for another beautiful Elvis reaction❤
This is such a lovely song. Among many others, Kentucky Rain and Only The Strong Survive are also on my favorite Elvis list :)
I wish you a lovely rest of the Sunday.
Greetings from sunny Slovenia
Thank you 🙏 I think I have Kentucky Rain in the list waiting to be seen! Will look to add Only the Strong Survive too!
@@PopularTripeNick
Oh, that would be great :) I have no idea why so few know Only The Strong Survive. I was 11 when I heard it for the first time. Whenever life decided to challenge me, I was singing it in my mind like a broken record. It literally became my mantra, and it often saved the day. It continues to do so to this day :)))
Thanks a lot for this review. I really love this song ❤ rehearsal and live. 😊
Love Sundays now!😂❤
Ha! Me too!
Elvis é o intérprete mais perfeito, mais mágico, mais bonito que se viu na face da terra! Elvis não era desse plano, por isso que se foi tão cedo ❤
I just seen your Chanel i love the one with Elvis! Thanks for playing this song!!
If you ever get a request for "Love Me" PULEEZ do this version czcams.com/video/SsE5FSUPKSY/video.html because it goes from a short funny little clip of studio rehearsal to the performance & what happened on stage (2:46 min.).
Do hope you'll get to the '68 "Jailhouse Rock" plus "Blue Suede Shoes" (sitting to center stage) total 4 min. Until Sunday again, have a good rest of the week.
Thank you. Have added - looks similar to this, so very excited to watch!
"popular tripe", why so?
Ah, it’s a phrase used in a line from my favourite film (Ghostbusters) and before Elvis Sunday was around I thought it would be a good way to describe a lot of the movie trailers I watch on here 😂 It’s not something I would use to describe Elvis I should add! 😎
