I am in love with this man! I could just sit and close my eyes, listening to his soothing voice and picture that luscious face. R.I.P. Ferlin. You are missed.💔
Thanks for responding, I found the movie on-line. It shows just the clip that is seen here. No plot that would give where he is singing and why. It didn't happen for the other performers, just the performance. The story is just for Mr. Freed, still a fun movie..
I once saw the movie some years ago and don't remember much about it, except being very impressed with Ferlin. Basically however these Alan Freed movies (there were about 4 or 5 of them) had no real plot lines and were just excuses to put a bunch or music performers on screen. Sort of like an old time variety show with a silly story pretending to connect things up. The movies served as a showcase for rock 'n' roll, and interesting that the country singer Husky was included.
While he is singing, he looks to his left at least 5-6 time during the song. Do you know where this was taped, why and who was receiving his attention during the song? This is different than the other videos, I have been able to find.

Was this from a TV show and which one? He was a regular on Hee Haw, too. He coulda been an opera singer with that voice--so full and rich.
