Arby's was, arguably (and surprisingly), one of the more heartfelt goodbyes of the whole shebang. I'm still not eating there, but stay classy, Arby's.
It's actually easily the best fast food restaurant if that's a thing. I work there in high school and the food is as real as it gets for that industry.
I'll get something from Arby's today, five year later, for that goodbye.

I read newspapers ,books and watch local news I have to admit half of the subjects covered on this show would be unknown to me if not for John Stewart.A true educator satirist and American hero.
He was the news of our generation and much better at it than all of them combined
We need more Jon Stewarts in the world. I love his comedy styles. He told it like it is.

Jon is a one of a kind wit that is rarely seen. On his show as a Socratic gadfly he performed laser surgery on society's elite showing us the side they preferred to hide and all with outrageously hilarious comedy. Comedy - news - an incredible melding of both. I wish Trevor a lot of luck and positive vibes as he has got some hilariously big and incredibly informed shoes to fill.
@@englishtimewithmr.chrisspanish Oliver shreds with facts and is funny with his enrage random comedic bits, but nobody has the timing flow and charisma the John had.
also there's so much b******* going on Oliver has to run through it a million miles an hour to even cover a part of it
What if Obama actually went through with that Executive Order, but put the stipulation that after he left office, Jon could retire?

Stewart was one of a kind. None of his offspring have even come closer. Stewart's real gift was being a Liberal, but preventing himself from becoming hyper partisan. He understood both sides, even when making jokes. Since he left, everyone has just become tribalists that lack nuance.

Paul Rudd nailed it: I miss EVERYTHING about Jon. He's not replaceable. Wish he had just taken time off and came back in a year later...the show began and stopped with Jon, the host others definitely notwithstanding.
this show was the only show that had humour + facts/news in the same place. I'll miss it I won't say that about ANY other show.

Can we all petition President Biden to sign an Executive Order, to bring John back. He’s a national treasure, and polling has shown, he’s the most trusted man in the country, since Walter Cronkite. Hey John, could we perhaps compromise? If five days a week is too much, how about an hour on the weekend? Your country needs you buddy!

I can't believe I'm defending fast food, and I'm not but I worked there in HS. It's literally sliced fresh off the round roast in front of you.

This dude hosted 16 years and the other two dudes who tried it could barely last half that. It was ALL about Jon. He'd show up to do cameos, and they'd react like the REAL host came back. Let's be real. Kilborn was a dick and Noah was kind of boring and preachy. Stewart could have done a comeback if he hadn't taken the format to make "The Problem with Jon Stewart." It's great, it's basically The Daily Show With Jon Stewart remade by memory.
Reminder: The Daily Show used to be a comedy show.
