This will be my first of many ! I tried to record with replay mod however it seems replay mod isn't working right now! My next videos will be recorded in shaders! I will be using Sildurs Enhanced Default as it ads little detail but does make Minecraft look a lot better!

I would recommend putting solid blocks behind the piston and then underneath the uilding block put redstone, this will increase the effieciency of the farm because it will only tbreak the sugarcane in front f it, this will way more efficient
The first sugar cane usually takes a while to grow. Once its grown once youll notice and increase You can test this by doing /gamerule randomtickspeed 1000 and watch it grow really fast. The average tick speed is 2

I suggest that you change your GUI to the biggest possible so people watching on a phone can see the screen better
