i love mysticat video.. because he do tutorial in survival..
This format feels really great for any level of builder, I’ll definitely be building the hybrid farm soon and it’s great that in the same video I have a blueprint for future improvement! Thanks!
Oh yes! Subscribing! What a marvellous idea, Mysticat! Love your content!
Thanks
It was kinda trippy watching a Minecraft video with Terraria music playing in the background.
Was about to comment it
Terraria and Minecraft, the perfect duo

You play minecraft with terraria music, then suddenly in the chat...

And wait till you find Terraria videos with minecraft music
I love how chaotic the second one was.
hey same logo
I have severe adhd and so that’s pretty much my life although he did leave out the numerous distractions I am harassed by minutely lmao
I have 10 sugarcane farm same as second one
you can make it less chaotic and laggy by using "quasi connectivity". Basically in this farm you could power some things like pistons from diagonally upward if that block is a power source, and then update the block by providing an update, then it will extend. So using this, you could put blocks where the redstone was in the back, and under that put redstone dust below that on its own block. Then, the block is technically powering the piston, and the redstone gives it an update, so only 1 piston fires. (sorry if my explanation was unclear)
@@chickenbobbobba I mean the way he messed up every now and then. But thank you
QUICK NOTE for the hybrid one. (IF it is not working, switch the chest area to the middle since hopper minecarts won't unload if it's too fast, also only use two powered rail, one at the end and at the beginning.)
Thanks I had that problem
another strategy for this is to chain hoppers under the rail, so they can pick up more things at a time
thank you so much
id doesn't work when i change the rails
Well now i just need a tutorial how to make a slime farm lol

i loved the bloopers of the second farm so much
So helpful! I wanted a farm that was effective but not too big and not too expensive for my villager hall. And this is exactly what I needed.
I made the extreme version today. Thanks to your tut it was super easy. Works flawlessly!

LETS GO FINALLY a tutorial that shows all methods of sugar cane farms
The slab water thing is relatively recent, since slabs could be water logged, 1.13 I think. Before the max efficiency layout made rails a nightmare to avoid all of those water sources.. if you changed the flying machine slightly to have the observers facing upwards, you could use the two middle rows for sugar cane, bit it does make the redstone a bit bigger..
Overall a great video, especially the frustration you had changing to levers on the 2nd design. Glad you didn't cut that from the video!
I love this kinda series I think it's pretty cool and unique, keep it up!
This is actually a good idea for a series. It basically covers early, mid, and late game farms as well as options for players who wants to farm seriously or just a casual automation :>
It iis
In my opinion, I find the hybrid design good for when you begin to get sugarcane for books, or trading them for emeralds. Even though its not much of a starter farm its really efficient.
It’s eh
It's mostly fine, I just think there are a few too many observers. You could probably remove 75% of them and it would still work fine, with not much of a performance drop.
@@superslimanoniem4712 they cost next to nothing anyway though
@@Kwispygod their components are annoying to farm especially quartz and cobble in late game

oh thanks. I was trying to find these kind of videos. I will build the hybrid one for my sugar canes and the extreme one for my bamboos

This is awesome! I like the idea of a group of builds to show complexity and need of use wherever you are in your survival game... I'd say based off your comment at the end about older videos, it might seem redundant, but I kinda like the idea of grouping and revamping some older videos into this newer style.
I love the chaos, really adds personality thats unique to most minecraft tutorial videos, subscribed!
Thank you for accurate materials lists! I built a bamboo farm the other day from someone else and their list of materials was wildly inaccurate, v frustrating. Left a list in comments for others there tho to hopefully help!
:D
Also the no shaders vibe and the 'leaving in the bloopers' vibe is *chef's kiss*
For the first farm, you can place the observer facing the bottom part instead of the top part. Sugarcane grows by pushing the cane up, unlike bamboo which just add another block on top of the existing bamboo.
Thank you very much for the second design and the little giggle at the end of it ^^
tysm i rlly liked the extreme one and decided to build it. rlly efficient machine and rlly enjoyed making it. you just earned your self a like.
I like how this tutorial have options based on how in depth you want to go into your farms. Also, differing amounts of resource demanding too.
So this was the first 30 seconds editing you showed us yesterday... It's pretty awesome
Bro this person's such a bean-
literally just found their channel yesterday and I already love their content
you make me feel safe, i love your videos. thank you.
This really helped me, thank you☺️.
I've made the second farm in my survival world, with the sugar cane on dirt. It works amazing (bedrock), but can be broken if you don't cover the dirt. I found this out as an ender man stole one of the dirt, so all the rails were flooded :D
Thank you for the simple yet easy tutorial on the sugar cane farms. I went for the 2nd design, and is working perfect for my first ever play through. 👍
Hey! i can see that your saying your farm works perfectly but with me the minecarts wont drop the sugarcane in the dropper any idea why?
@@stariron7113 this might be because the dropper isn't around the end of the rain system, or your using a powered rail over the hopper. Maybe the hopper isnt connected too the chest
:D , this is very helpful i needed as much sugar for trading on a server as i could get and felt bad afking on slow farms, the last farm seems the best, thank you for your great videos, i always come back to you videos when i need to make a farm
If you want to go really extreme, just build multiple of the last farm on top of each other. xD
I think these farms are pretty good and easy to follow and even for beginners I might use these when I finally stop playing creative XD
Yesssss make more of these videos ❤️❤️❤️
Damn, best mc tutorial from all, the fact u make it in survival aswell, is cool!
Big Thanks, i applied it to my own SMP

Thank you for the hybrid design!
what if he made a terraria tutorial with minecraft music in the background
It will be cool
Love the vid. I like it better without the shaders.
mysticat thank you so much, This helped me in my survival world
Thank you! I created hybrid on my server and this is my first redstone farm!!!!!!
Waiting for more.❤️
Everyone who watches these videos needs to subscribe! This guy's tutorials are so well put together and easy to replicate.
There is a CZcamsr named Jc playz his sugarcane farm produce 1 sugarcane every 1 sec ie. 60 sugarcane every min
@@ItsSwag_ jp playz is for bedrock
First time watching you and it was awesome! Great tutorial!!🤩🤩
thankyou so much u are the best its working perfectly
This terraria background music fits so well in minecraft.
For the extreme design. On the wall spaces that you can't place sugar cane, you can use waterlogged stairs as a way to negate that problem
I love this idea for a series. Keep it up :)
Thanks bro farm is running absolutely fine
I built the second one, but you can actually build it with much less resources. You can leave out every second or even more of the observers. Instead of the redstone block you can just use levers. Also there is no loss in efficiency if you only power the first few rails.
Also, you don't have to use glass if you don't have the sand for it. Also also, you can just plant the sugar cane on dirt or grass, it's equally efficient to sand.
(Can you tell that I still haven't found a desert in my world?)
Keep the misclicks in! This video was so entertaining. I definitely like the new series, keep them coming :)
wow i got soo much sugar cane in my survival world the 3rd rlly helped me :D ty
lovely clear tutorial
:) smiley face for ya, mysticat
Good video, however the extreme design can be modified to be completely automated by setting up observers at specific sugar cane blocks to trigger the same mechanism so that the flying machine will be set off by certain sugar cane blocks reaching 3 height so you can afk with it on and get much more sugar cane, hope this helps everyone out!
May I ask how?
By setting up observer blocks on tip of the glass, looking at the 3rd height of a sugar cane block and wire that to the same mechanism as the lever
@@doggydude2577 I’m sorry I don’t know how to do it without getting visuals
If you want to afk, just leave the flying machines running. Sure they won't harvest anything most of the time because it hasn't grown yet, but who cares?
@@maxpeck1962 does that work?
I never watched ur videos but when i clicked i instantly subbed
Awesome thank you man
I really like how you show how to deal with things when they go wrong. It feels more human, that things can go wrong even for the people who make the tutorials, and also demonstrates the process for how to fix things when they do.
Use a flying machine with the observers pointing upwards, then you can plant sugarcain in the middle rows as well
I don't get it, why can't you have sugar cane in the middle in the extreme one?
@@hikton7293 if the sugar cain grows in front of the observer, it can trigger it in the wrong moment, and the flying machine may break. So if you point the observers upwards, that cant happen. If you do that though, just be sure to build it somewhere where it can't snow, or you might run into the same problem ;)
What do you change when you build it facing upwards the? Like you sure have to change some blockplacements as well as the observers facing
@@hikton7293 well you also have to change the return stations for the flying machines as well. Here is the simple design I normally use:

pretty useful, thanks for ur help
Thx dude now I have a sugar cane farm in my hardcore world
I play mc bedrock edition, and when i tested the flying machine in the extreme design, it just kept shuffling back and forth. Is there a way to fix this and make it so the machine can still bounce off the other end?
Bedrock doesn't want flying machine in their game, switch to java
@@rynny_weather no actually flying machines are possible in bedrock but redstone is different in both versions so you need another design
I’ve been having issues with the second farm in 1.18.1 The hoppers connected to the chest do not seem to put any items into the chest or collect any items from the hoppers in the mine cart. Don’t know if anyone else is having this issue and if anyone has solved it could you please reply to my comment
Edit: to fix this issue from occurring make sure there’s no powered rail on top of the hopper or next to the hopper. Hoppers are considered “locked” when near a soft power source
Just put the hopper away from redstone block do they don't touch and it will work
AravisX it did work your edit less go tku so much!!!
I did the same stuff! I placed the hopper and the chest in the middle, away from the redstone block but the minecart still doesn't drop any items to the chest. I am quite new to the game so i don't know if i should use activator rail or normal rail.
Love this design I modified it a bit for my let's play
Your voice is so calming! Avatar is adorable and super helpful tutorials! You earned a sub from me, bro!

I did the extreme one and the minecart hoppers didn’t run when I clicked the lever. Anyone know how to fix this?
It works perfect for me so i don't know maybe u build it wrong or maybe because your on bedrock but it works perfect for me on 1.19.3 Java Edition

great job mysticat! im impressed with the extreme it seems really hard to build but you made it easy to. def will be using hybrid+extreme

The extreme one does not work sadly, the flying machine pretty much just breaks the end and keeps on going. Wasted my time getting all the resources. 👎
Its for java
