    Best advice on leading worship was this, "There is more silence in Beethoven's 5th symphony than notes". Play accordingly. People are not there to listen to your 'great talent' on guitar, they are there to worship Jesus, just like you should be doing while playing. There are times when I literally chose songs that are good and often leave those songs I think are wonderful and that always make me want to weep because I remember what Jesus has done for me. Then at times, He leads me to choose those that make me want to cry to keep me humble. Ive yet to have someone come to me and say, "brother, you gotta stop that crying when you sing!" Its always,"brother, the worship brought tears to my eyes today". That's when I know the Holy Spirit moved during worship.

    • @ArielCardona
      @ArielCardona Před 5 lety

      He's probably going straight into the mixing board, maybe going through a PADI before reaching the board. Also, he has what it seems to be the LR Baggs Anthem pickup system, which is what I use with my guitars. For me, the best way to amplify an acoustic. And it's a Gibson acoustic :)

    • @frankserniyup5432
      @frankserniyup5432 Před 6 lety

      It is best to amplify your acoustic direct to PA with DI Box..it lightens your load. Invest in good cable and DI Box instead of amp

    This is very good and i sometimes want to tell the guys in the vand these things but mostely they go on some jind of an ego trip instead of trying to make nice music together. The drummer says he is young and the bass player has his hearing aids too sharp for everyone else but himself and i can hardly hear my piano

      common guitar player slang for a chord that you hit once and let it ring. Like whole notes, if you're familiar with standard notation.
