- You may think you know what classes are best in Dungeons and Dragons. You may even have opinions about them. Too bad. Really it's admirable that you tried, but let us take it from here. We are professionals after all.

They did artificer dirty. Proficiency in con saves and heavy armor is a pretty good multiclass in wizard. Plus being iron man is fun.

And if your player picks an artificer you'd better let them use guns, just work with them to craft one that works well with how you want your combat to go
These guys have never played artificer
They put Wizard high in their tier lists though, so that just means they're not talking about the value a class has for multi-classing, otherwise Fighter moves up a tier or two easily.
Battle Smith with a magical repeating heavy crossbow and their pet that can attack, heal itself and distract enemies? Blows Ranger out of the water.

I tried to get a couple of my friends to watch these D&D 'gateway' videos, they haven't, and I feel so sorry for them, because this content is so perfect.
Artificer in a low magic game just always hits the right spot, I understand that they are both high fantasy dm’s but low magic campaigns are extremely popular in the non social media space of dnd
They're right about Cleric, my Cleric was a patron of Santa Claus.
1:12 I'm surprised to see Artificers rank so low, some people consider it to be one of the best classes in the game because of the versatility they have due to their infusions, especially the one that lets them replicate magic items. If you're just giving your players the magic items they want, then you're pretty generous DMs (in which case, yeah, that would make me more likely to play a Wizard instead - that being said, a one-level dip in Artificer is great for Wizards because of the proficiencies they get).
4:40 Like Ryan said, that Bard subclass is still out there (on wikidot): it's the College of Satire (their Cunning Action-like feature is called Tumbling Fool). UA (Unearthed Arcana) content might not necessarily be officially published, but since they're made for playtesting they're just public by design.
23:14 The main issue of sorcerers is indeed their limited spell list/number of known spells, but there are a few subclasses that let you have a pretty decent list of known spells overall (like Divine Soul, Clockwork Soul and Aberrant Mind).
Yeah Artificers are pretty strong and a good multiclass for Wizard for Con Save Proficiency and Medium Armor. Armorere, Battle Smith and Artillerist are also really good, flavourful and cool, I just think they had bad Artificers in their games.

I am currently making a campaign that kind of connects with the museum, but like mine is gunna be a tavern, I wanted it to kinda link into skill-check cause the items and abilities are rlly great and I have so much of my own ideas I wanna implement. I don’t know why I wanna share it but I’m working hard on it 😭 I hope my friends enjoy it, they don like dnd too much tho
Points in favor of Artificer
-One of the best and most extensive spell lists
-Infusions are verstile and powerful, especially Replicate Magic Item
-Flash of Genius is a worse Silvery Barbs, but costs no spell slots
-Proficiencies and tool expertise makes you amazing outside of combat for utility
-Can easily multiclass into wizard for more benefits
-Guns
Points against Artificer
-Not very many spells slots. Wizard multiclass needed to make up for it
-Benefits of class features start to give out past level 10
-More reliant on spellcasting focus
I don't see the problem here. Full casters are perfectly useful in any party. Y'all are just biased.

With all respect, I do not understand the ranking here.
Artificer gets placed bottom of the line, with the only argument being if you wanna be inventor pit it in backstory (even though this class implements it pretty nicely mechanically and thematically), which can be applied to literally every class in game. And it does not have bad multiclassing. There are plenty of juicy combinations mechanically and thematically.
Then we get to monk, literally the weakest class in the entire game. Its too constrained by its own mechanics, and yet it gets an A tier just because it has cool factor in it. I love monks personally. One of my favorite characters I've ever made is one. That doesn't change the fact that monks are shit.
Yea its subjective and I like you guys' work but if you are ranking things, rank them with equal standards.
