Thanks for taking one for the team Mike! Even tho I'm not a Texan, thanks for standing up for rights.
Woot! I definitely remember the old AAC heydays of 2008-2012 or so! Was definitely inspired by AAC's marketing style, and was thankful to have had the opportunity to make posters for em one SHOT show
I remember the old shop. It was 2017 or 2018. I pulled up so excited to grab a lower and I was like man this is so badass. Prison gym, the bar. Been repping yalls stuff ever since
This was AMAZING!! I love hearing owners of companies and their view especially when its an honest one. Its why I will always be a SOLGW buyer and supporter.
You guys have me cracking up ever time. T shirts and stickers. My wife laughs at me every time. I get a 500 1k part in the mail and am dumping out the packing slips and packing looking for stickers and stuff. Keep up the awsome content and products.
Such a great episode. Always interesting hearing guys like Kevin and Mike talk shop. I really enjoy both of their perspectives. Says a lot about both that they’re willing to sit across the table with a competitor.
Great pod, I own a SOLGW 16” m76 and a Q Sugar Weasel pistol with trash panda, was just thinking the other day if Mike and Kevin knew each other and if they would get along. Now I know! Both great companies, great engineering, great products, and great people!
Awesome to see Nick, Mike and Kevin at mission ridge
One of my first ar builds was a 5.5 300 blkout with a V7 barrel with a 1:7 twist with subs it key hole at 15 yards! Regret spending that $330!
Keep up the good work. Loving the podcast! I love my 13.9 SOLGW m4-79 upper!
Hey can I get a 9.5 300AAC with a 1 in 5 twist now?
Thank you.
This was a great show!
Hey isn't that the dude from the FB group that got all pissy and left 😂 (nick)
I loved the show thank you
JD Jones was way ahead of his time! 300 Whisper FTW!
So what I appreciate about SOLGW is your company realizes 2 things I feel. 1, you're not afraid to have other brands on the show or be part of your events/projects (In fact you are friends with many of them in real life or at least on the socials) 2 you all seem to realize how important it is to have unity amongs brands for the greater good of the industry & our rights, as well as you also know that there is plenty of room in the space for many brands. The customers will decide who keeps their doors open year after year by supporting the brands that support them & bring great products to the market and who aren't jerks about what they do.
Love Q. Have a sugar weasel/Thunder chicken combo and it’s heavenly. With the recent “flow through” BS I’m holding out for Qs steel 556 silencer.
Here I sit 326 days waiting for my first can DeadAir nomad L
This pod was great. So much knowledge floating around this room.
Solid podcast. I think Mike is a good host and has potential to be great. I would have one guest though. I wanted to hear more from Nick.
I had always believed the myth of the best barrel length for a .300 blackout was 9 inches. After hearing the truth from Kevin I'd like to know why he chose a 7 inch barrel for the Honey Badger if it's not a trade secret.
He didn't choose 7, the contract basically did with size and weight requirements
Oohhh Dalmore.
When is this 556 badger coming out?
I think most people, if they own a Son's gun or not, holds them in pretty high regard. As a hardcore hunter, id love to have a Fix and get in on 8.6. We'll see how 2024 ends up. Buying nods really smashed by gun budget. 😂
🤘🇺🇸
Fk ya. I love these. The autism is 🔥
I remember someone saying I was a solgw di?$ rider because I was happy with my first sons gun. And just reported what I saw at a carbine class. Things like certain gun brands going down during a class. Keyboard warriors lol.
It's always fun to be told you don't know what you're talking about by someone who will shoot less in their entire life that you shoot in a year.
Just started watching, not sure if you guys say it, but, SOLGW 8.6 blk would be awesome! Possibly a 13.9 on an AR10 platform.
Well…now I’m glad I went into Grendel instead of Arc
I love these companies and I love this podcast.
In reference to the criticisms section... the only criticism of SOLGW I can think of is their use of BA barrels. Honest to god, if they just went with a higher tier (perceived or real), no one could argue against them in any way shape or form. It's the only criticism I consistently see. PS I am a happy SOLGW customer.
Well, theyre made to solgw specs. So they just pretty much cut them for sons. Not really an ordinary BA barrel. But still i agree. If they would use a higher tier barrel maker (and throw in ambi lower for the hell of it), they would be damn near if not in S tier.
What’s wrong with BA barrels? 😂 Amazing company, amazing engineers.
If you shoot it out, they will replace it so what does it really matter??
Who cares what reddit warriors think.
I care that they extensively tested their chosen barrels and stand behind them to the point that they will replace the barrel if you wear it out. I don't really care about the opinions of a bunch of faceless randoms that at best had a single sample size to judge BA from, and at worst are just parroting someone else's opinions.
Kevin gets a lot of hate but i actually like the guy. Ive never met him but most people who are really good at what they do ruffle feathers. He seems like a good dude. I dont own any of his products but would love to shoot them
