Plus the english forests are pretty scary when you are all alone in the dark with no phone and they slow you down even more. I had a similar experience cycling from Bath to Bournemouth (120km), luckily i was with a friend. You are right, something I will remember forever!

I think the further into the ride you were, the more tiring it was to film which made it take longer and took more energy from you. If you used a small camera like a go pro it might have made a difference, but those are expensive.
When my dad was 16 he rode from London to Brighton in the rain with some of his friends but he had a really fast bike worth £2000 so it’s incredible for u to ride all the way there on a mini bike 😂💯

The roads and Forests are scary so maybe get something for self-defense too(pepper spray etc). Hopefully, you'll never need something like that but it's good to be prepared in case you come across Slenderman or something in a forest.

I went from Croydon to Brighton for my silver Duke of Edinburgh, took me 3 days! (That's with a lot of equipment and only using a paper map!)
