On the strength of this great video I have subscribed and ordered the 1.5 Petrol engine SEL White Silver with black roof. Jazzed up with Red Flash Dash sports pack, sunroof and a few other options. Really looking forward to delivery. Are those wheels the 18inch Adamatium Silver alloys, if so I really like. I have ordered the chrome Montego Bay wheels but now thinking I should change? Can you advice re this and what you think would look better between the Silver or Chrome, I have about another week to change. Thank you Chris

The last road mode is not "ofrroad with snow", it's "offroad individual", where you can adjust steering, throttle, etc
Does it have smart key? Or is it only for metal key?

I Like the Car. I think it is a nice addition to the line. Though if I was to consider buying one, I cant decide whether the 1.0 which is really affordable or whether to step it up to 1.5 which pushed my budget. Is the 1.5 SE really noticeable vs the 1.0 SE?
i had the same problem. I settled with the 2l TSi.
It would be useful to mention how tall you are, so that we have an idea of how much room there is in the back.

Wow! 1.88m and you still managed to fit in the back. This is a really spacious car!
TrueSilvo yes but for my knees it was the limit... anyway mostly parents don't have children being that tall so they fit in there easily :-)

Great review ! it did covers pretty much many of my personal questions, (so i don't have to ask ) but I'm curious still how is the T-Roc against Golf Wagon Alltrack ? (because i know that Alltrack Golf is pretty good too).. I can't wait to see the "T-Roc R"Keep doing great work ! ;)

Thanks for advice reply.. sure this new small SUV will sell like crazy since is made for budget but with volkwagen quality is just awesome and i also agree that offroad could be better because is taller have short bumpers that allow to get on much steeper ramps forward and backward and taller position is better.. So I guess the Alltrack would fit better for those who still want the ability to go in short trips weekends (fishing in mountain rivers, snowboarding..etc) off the pavement and without to compromise the stability roll on highspeed motorways offered by the lower slick wagon Alltrack .. Looking forward to next review. ;)
Please tell me who is poking or stroking dashboard besides journalists. Hard plastics are more durable and easier to clean.

I think VW has TSI engines and not TFSI as you seem to say during the review. Didn't you mix it up with AUDI?

Yes it will! You can choose between AWD and FWD!
Is this confirmed info from VW? So far they don't even mention it on any of the EU markets in their websites.

AK S But VW is for sure not the only car brand with a faked emission standard and our VW is very reliable. No big problems after 5 years. Yes the interior might be boring but I think that a VW is worth it.

They screwed up in one place - interior quality. Every little piece of trim is made out of cheap and nasty plsastics. Even the Polo has much more soft plastics inside. VW said that they did that on purpose so it won't compete with the Golf but they just overdid it.
You forgot to mention the cheap felling of hard plastic in doors and dash!

I like the technology and reliability of VW but the design looks cheap and cheesy. The fake exhaust pipes, bling lights and plastic dashboard is turning me off.
La parte alta del cruscotto in plastica dura è una vera cazzata. Si sentiranno centinaia di scricchiolii delle plastiche che faranno sembrare l'auto una baracca non più degna del marchio WV. E non dite che si deve seguire uno stile o che alla gente non importa nulla perché non ci crederà nessuno. Su un auto di tutto rispetto meno plastica dura c'è e meglio è. E' solo una presa in giro per risparmiare. Io possiedo una golf VI high line (golfista da 30 anni con GTI serie II, TDI serie IV e TDI 2.0 serie VI ) e volevo passare alla T-roc ma a causa della plastica non lo farò. Stavolta la VW mi ha deluso peggio di quando si è parlato delle centraline truccate. Mi spiace dirlo ma con questa cazzata la VW cade in basso a livello delle comunissime e mediocri marche europee. Per un suv compatto di questa categoria tanto vale spendere per una Qashqai Nissan. VW avete commesso una cazzata perché la T-roc in plastica perde il prestigio del marchio. Detto ciò ora sono indeciso tra la golf VIII 4motion oppure la Quashqai. Ma potevate fare una simile cazzata?

Car Mania your camera person should know how to set shutter speed correctly, it should be set to 1/50 that should get rid of that horrible flicker that you see in the LED lights on the car
Benjamin Batchelor dude :-) That's a Panasonic V777 full Hd camera. Nothing more.. And two gopro 5s'. Many other channels with their mega professional equipment do static dorm room style. So if this is the problem I can live with it..
terrible design, very bad engines, terrible automatic gearbox, stupidly expensive, everything tha t is expected of a design coming from the VW group, I hope they sell many, because they are manufactured in Portugal, and I am Portuguese, but I would never buy anything from the VW group.

well Mario you should try to drive a vw, great cars. They are very easy and enjoyable to drive and also very reliable. The t- roc is my next car😀. I just love it. I'm sure it will be a great success.
