    We aren't doing Singapore math this year but I reached out to the owner Brenda, she was SO helpful in answering my questions. Also my books that go along with this are all on sale on Mercari, level 2! Lol. Thanks for this review, it was really hard to find much info on it. I'm so torn on using technology for math. I want to save time but also math concepts at a young age is so key to be able to succeed long term. I didn't learn Singapore style so if be learning along anyway. Math is a challenge for me...were only in 2nd grade. Lol.

    Thanks so much for this video. I’ve been considering trying Singapore next year as I’ll have a newborn and feel like having teaching videos to just take a bit off my plate would be ideal.

    I'm looking for reviews on level 6. Algebra is just as traumatic as it was in the 90s. 😆

      Haha, we never got to Level 6 - have you checked out the sample videos on her site?

    I didn’t even know this was an option, thanks for sharing. I am considering switching from Dimensions to the newest version of Primary Mathematics 2022. I didn’t see it on the booklist as you were scrolling though. It would be great if there were more reviews on this new version.

      I was also tempted by the new primary program - I hope people start making reviews!!

      The 2003 US Edition of Primary Mathematics is the best version...every edition since then was dumbed down or made worse. Brenda has an article on Singapore math live where she says the same thing.

    We hate online math but we don’t mind online teaching videos. We loved it wiv math u see and will be using it for TGTB math higher levels. I’m looking forward to that but my kids are able to read the math instruction themselves as they below grade level so older than they should be for the level. I love the idea of the guidance from the website. I love the idea of a plan b. Nothing wrong wiv slowing it down. My twins love maths but where taught in a way that didn’t work for them in pubic school and math u see didn’t work.

      Math is such a tricky subject - half the battle is just finding the right program for each kiddo!

    Would this work with other Singapore Math programmes? Is it following the text book problems or does it just teach the concepts? We are still using Math in Focus with our youngest as well soon to start Saxon, it might be useful, though he’s had no problem learning Singapore maths and is on level 2 at the age of 5 1/2, it might be nice to see another lady, apart from me 😃 teaching him, xx

      I’m not sure about Math in Focus - check out her sight and see if it is in the drop down menu 😀

    Totally off topic, have you ever read Lily De Jong? It’s historical fiction and one of my all time favorites!

    She doesn’t offer this for kindergarten level right? Are you aware of any video instruction math programs for kindergarten?

    • @sciencemama
      @sciencemama  Před 2 lety

      I don’t think she does offer kindergarten… there is the MathUSee Primer program that has the dvds.
