- Games workshop were kind to send me out a box of each of the spyrers and trazior pattern sentry guns.
In this video we have a look at the sprues, possible build options and overall review of both boxes.

The sentries are so sweet I have been using some guardsmen in the underhells for fun just to see how long they last and while not long its a fun game these sentries will add some flare

0 weapon options is an absolute pisstake when it's 4 models for the price of a gang box. Same price, less than half as many models, and absolutely nothing else. GW can go shit in their own hands and give themselves a round of applause.
Weapon upgrade kit entered the chat.
It is a bit of a piss take to only include the default weapons on an already limited sprue, especially at the full cost of a gang and when they only have a couple of options. Has got me reconsidering my pre order of the book of desolation and the tactics cards. If I do decide to still get them may hold off getting the models until they get an upgrade pack, even though I begrudge buying it when they should come with the options on the kit!
The most frustrating thing is only one yeld from the kit with a single pair of wings
@@PhoenixDA The problem is not even the weapon upgrade packs have all the options for gangs either.

Good to know on the options or lack thereof. Being a heretic and using OPR for NM, I further delve into Heresy by not going by WYSIWYG. That being said, I do prefer to model it with the correct bits if I can. I pick my Spyrer and Sentry Gun sets up this coming Saturday from my FLGS so they can immediately come home and get stacked on top of other unbuilt Secundus stuff....they will be in the queue soon. I saw a kit bash, with the esher shock whip coming out of a gunbarrel of one the guns, on the Warhammer community page that I thought was a cool idea, bit of a let down with the weapon options. But still excited to get my mits on them
We get to spend the next few years wishing for an upgrade sprue. At least it would probably mean more heads, maybe even a different set of wings. But yeah, not having the alternate weapons included is especially egregious for these considering they can't equip anything else.
Sorry for a stupid question: those spyrer tactics cards that are for sale ... are they also printed in a rulebook?

I suspect the missing weapon options were intentional on GW's part, if for no other reason than to get a bit of extra cash from a weapon upgrade sprue like all the other gangs have.
The question is: will it be Forge World or plastic?
how many sentry guns are reasonable to take? I know it comes with 4 but is that the standard load-out, you would just take 4 if you take the guns?
They're not cheap in terms of creds though
Very disappointed you don't get all the weapon options.... let me guess... another weapon kit you have to buy extra lol.... why not just charger more and have it all in one box?
It would have been nice to know this in advance, or even release it at the same time.
@samael2607 exactly! I mean do I want to buy them and build them until I have all the options? Probably not tbh!

I wouldn't say it was copying alien but it's definitely inspired by and awesome scene with the sentry guns 💪

@@wellywoodwargaming a lot of the early tyrannids are very hR giger- xenomorph- like as well
